My, oh my! I'd forgotten so much about how last season's Love & Hip Hop: Atlanta ended, so I was like a kid at Christmas watching the highlights. The three-way proposal! The three-way three-way! If this season is half as dramatic as last, we are in for a train wreck. Last night's premiere didn't disappoint. Stevie J. is certainly stepping up in the world, isn't he? He's living in the White House with Joseline Hernandez. Their shared mansion is 18,000 square feet, and the pair pour champagne for breakfast. It's a long way from Benzino's sofa! Joseline reveals that the couple got married in a courthouse, and she's ready for a lavish wedding. The dress she wants is only $25,000. A steal! Stevie wants a wedding celebration too, but first he'd like to focus on a shared birthday party since they were born one day apart.
Rasheeda and Kirk Frost are "back together" for the sake of their son Carter. Of course, by "back together" I mean they are living in the same house and co-parenting their newborn, but Rasheeda has banished him to a separate bedroom and I can guarantee you he's not getting any love from her. I'm sure he's keeping himself sane courtesy of the threesome memories from No Neck's cabin. Here's hoping Kirk doesn't act like as much of a douche as he did last season!
Well I never thought I'd type the following words…I kind of agree with Stevie J. from Love & Hip Hop Atlanta. Before you jump all over me (or before I commit myself to the nearest nut house), let me clarify that I agree with what he is saying, not necessarily his motivation for saying it. I think we all know that Stevie J. is no saint and his judgment of ex Mimi Faust'srecord breaking sex tape falls flat.
While Stevie is all "I can't believe she did that," all I really hear is "I can't believe she did that without me." He's certainly no angel, but his best pal Benzino–glad to see you're feeling well enough after that shooting to give interviews about your friend, boo! (No, really, I have a strange infatuation for this man…ugh!)–is claiming that Stevie is only worried about the couple's young daughter. Understandably.
So, if your sex tape is breaking records, do you consider that to be a compliment? I have to put that question out to you readers since Kim Kardashian isn't returning my calls. Apparently, Mimi Faust'svideo sexcapades are making her more famous than the VH1 reality show on which she stars!
Our favorite reality TV stars cannot get enough of the spotlight during their regularly scheduled time slots, so they take to social media to share even more of their daily lives with us. And we love them for it! Here's a roundup of some of our favorite photos from this week! Enjoy!
Call the drama police, because this season of Love & Hip Hop: Atlanta is shaping up to be one for the record books. VH1 just released the trailer for season three and there is a shooting, a paternity test, the fallout over the release of a sex tape and plenty of cat fights and relationship tensions.
The new season of Love & Hip Hop: Atlanta premieres on Monday, May 5 at 8PM ET/PT and includes the regular cast of characters, along with a few new additions. Up-and-coming rapper, Waka Flocka Flame and his fiancé, Tammy Rivera, Scrappy‘s new girl, Bambi, plus Yung Joc and Kalenna Harper all join the show for season three. Now, let the fireworks begin.
Um, when you start to mess with Benzino, you're messing with this girl. It's no secret that the neckless wonder is my favorite person from the entire Love & Hip Hop franchise. He's equal parts harmless and unintentionally hilarious. So to the idiot who shot him while he was en route to his mother's funeral (yes, you read all of that correctly), shame on you. What is this world coming to?
Obviously, 'Zino is thankfully doing alright after the ordeal, and I know this courtesy of Stevie J.'s Instagram. Could this story get any more twisted? The Love & Hip Hop: Atlanta star is recuperating after being rushed to the hospital following a shooting which occurred during his mother's funeral procession. I don't even know what to make of this situation.
So Mona Scott-Young may be getting sued? Who knew that Love & Hip Hop would ever be the subject of a law suit that wasn't based on someone getting injured in a show-related brawl? Is the idea for that franchise so popular that multiple people thought of the concept at the same time? If that is the case, should we be worried about our culture? Probably, but Mona wins with the discovery of Stevie J. for sure!
MTV and VH1 are apparently being sued for infringement due to Mona's brainchild. However, as the show's creator, Mona has yet to see any formal paperwork. In fact, like us, she's only read about it in the blogs! It seems that someone is claiming that Mona stole their idea for a hip hop reality show. Can't we all just get along? There is plenty of room in the reality realm for multiple trashy shows, right?
I realize that I have the benefit of hindsight, but I think I could have told anyone months ago that the two skeeziest (and therefore most entertaining) stars of Love & Hip Hop: Atlantaopening a restaurant/bar/club would not have been the best idea. And, of course, I would have been right. Duh!
Besties Stevie J. and no-neckBenzino had the grand opening of their "bistro bar" Sleazy & Zino which ended up in a big ol' mess…as is par for the course with this crew. It's been reported that the fight was instigated by Joseline Hernandez' friend, and Karlie Redd was knocked out in the process. There was even talk that VH1 wouldn't allow regular old folks like you and me party with the cast for fear of a lawsuit in the event of yet another violent outburst. Good times with these guys, for sure!
