"It was a freak thing and I still don’t understand why I was picked. I jokingly filled out an online application that my friend sent to me, not thinking for one second they would call me. I was totally obnoxious (mocking the show) we were both were laughing at my answers, I didn’t send any pictures and didn’t show up to the casting call in Newport," Tamra reveals.
It's been a rough couple of days for Real Houswives of Orange County'sTamra Barney. The outspoken Bravolebrity is in the hospital recovering from emergency surgery. Very scary! What she suspected was ulcer pain turned out to be a very problematic hernia.
Before calling 9-1-1, Tamra took to Twitter to share her pain, tweeting, "Sh*t here we go again, think its time to see a doctor? Severe pain in upper stomach after drinking coffee. Ulcer maybe?" Thankfully the ambulance came before she could fire off any more tweets.
Today in the real life of eighth gradersAlexis Bellino decides to remove her extensions cut her hair short after years of Barbie locks and Gretchen Rossi insists Alexis is a copycat because she got a short haircut first! And everybody knows Gretchen is the only person in the history of the world who has ever gotten a haircut, right?! Nevermind that their hair cuts actually look nothing alike except for the blondeness. Minor details!
Alexis took to Facebook and Twitter to exclaim about her new bob and I think it looks absolutely adorable. “The NEW me! I’m SO happy! I’ve wanted to do this cut for over a year and after last season nothing scares me! Ha!,” Alexis jubilantly wrote on her Facebook Page. A photo is below!
Sadly, because this is Real Housewives of Orange County no one can be happy for her and almost immediately Gretchen hopped on twitter to retweet a bunch of comments suggesting Alexis pulled a “single white female” and stole her hairstyle. But not Slave Smiley, right?

Real Housewives of Orange County‘s Alexis Bellino may buy cars and diamonds and boobs, but she isn’t buying Twitter followers, y’all! Last week, the misunderstood Jesus Barbie’s popularity soared when she scored 30,000 new Twitter followers in one day. After her surge, former OC househusband Micah Tanous tweeted, “I just answered a call from the company that is SELLING all the current #RHOC cast their Twitter followers, What a F’ing Joke!” This led Tamra Barney to follow suit with “once a fake, always a fake” and Heather Dubrow to comment “lame, but not surprising.”
Alexis wants to set the record straight, so it’s no shock she gives Fox News the exclusive. She claims that the 30,000 followers quite possibly could be a result of a security breach.
Real Housewives of Orange County is not going to go quietly into oblivion following their explosive seventh season. Oh, no – they’re clinging, grasping, mawing, and groping for attention like a flock of famewhoring zombies. Which is actually a great description of what actually happens with these reality stars. But back to the story…
So a couple weeks ago Micah Tanous (that guy who was the husband of one-season Housewife Peggy Tanous) took to twitter to announce that some of the ladies of RHOC were buying twitter followers. Oh, you don’t say. Apparently the very bored girls of the RHOC who do not want us to forget they exist in the off-season turned it into a major scandal (in their eyes).
After exonerating themselves from any misdeeds where the buying of fans is concerned they decided one lady was guilty as accused. And just who did they coincidentally deduce was the guilty party? Alexis Bellino!
Oh good lord – please accept that your 15 minutes of fame are up and get a real job. Oh, did I say that out loud? Anyway, Micah Tanous, husband of ex-Real Housewife Of Orange County star Peggy Tanous has taken to twitter to accuse his wife’s former co-stars of paying for their hundreds of thousands of twitter followers.
I mean everyone knows number of twitter followers = amount of self worth, right? Only if you’re a D-List Celebrity! In an accusatory tweet, Micahannounced: “I just answered a call from the company that is SELLING all the current #RHOC cast their Twitter followers, What a F’ing Joke! Fake likes!?!”
Tamra Barney, always quick with the reply and self-defense immediately shot back with, “that’s bullshit…I have never bought a follower in my life!!!!”
Reality Television has made us laugh, made us cringe, and most of all, made us realize that some people are just crazy. Proving that when you get a whole bunch of famewhores in a room to rehash a season’s worth of petty slights, silly disagreements, and passive-aggressive warfare; things can get really scary. A reunion is one place I’d never go without a bodyguard.
Below we count down our TOP 7 Reality TV Reunion Meltdowns. Oh, pseudo-celebs, you don’t ever disappoint!
