Our favorite reality TV stars can’t get enough of the spotlight during their regularly scheduled time slots, so they take to Twitter to give us an hourly play-by-play of their lives. And we love them for it! Here’s a roundup of some of our favorite photos from the Twitterverse this week! Enjoy!
Camille Grammer's ex-husband Kelsey has been making the media rounds lately, and he likes to take any opportunity to take to undercut his ex in the press. Whether he's sharing that he got her on RHOBH as a marriage parting gift or snarking that the pair hadn't had sex in over a decade, it's TMI at its finest.
Likewise, no matter where you turn, Adrienne Maloof and Paul Nassif are battling over custody and abuse allegations in the tabloids. It's enough to make your head spin!
They're rich, they're fabulous – wait, no that's only some of them. Anyway Real Housewives of Beverly Hills returns! In its third season Bravo welcomes new Housewives and brings back some of the old favorites. Some we want to see back (Lisa, Lisa, Lisa!) and some… well yeah, we're a little less excited about.
I can't. I just can't. The Real Housewives of Orange County may be the original housewives (although most aren't, in fact, wives), but sometimes they are also the most ridiculous. Let's take Gretchen Rossi, for example. She's not a wife–and with Slade Smiley as her beau she may never be one–but, like her counterparts, she loves to talk about whatever it takes to keep her in the spotlight.
For example, last week, Gretchen was yapping about how former best friend/current nemesis Alexis Bellinocopied her hairstyle…because that's news. This week, Gretchen is sharing with us her workout routine while applauding herself for overcoming bulimia. Wait…didn't Alexis say she struggled with bulimia growing up when the ladies took a quick trip to Texas during season six? Who is the copycat now, Gretch?
I’ll be honest, Real Housewives of Beverly Hills is the hardest show for me to watch, yet it’s also my favorite of the franchise. Adrienne Maloof and her husband Dr. Paul Nassif had my heart early on…they seem very down to earth to be on a show where the women eat diamonds and cocktail hour begins at breakfast. The RHOBH women are on another level from their Bravo counterparts. Maybe that is why it’s so hard to see some of our faves floundering in their personal lives.
Case in point? Adrienne and Paul. Their constant bickering was funny during the first season, but now, as we approach season 3, it’s become sad. It was no surprise when the news broke of the couple’s separation. The duo seems to love one another, but yet neither can miss the opportunity to call out the others’ weaknesses. That’s not good for a marriage, I guess.
After one of her followers suggested she write a memoir, Kim recently tweeted, “Book……..should I write a book?? Mmmmmm…… I’ve thought about about it. So much to say………. ” Just from her time on the show, I am sure she has enough material to fill a tome, but when you add in all her other ups and downs, perhaps she could do a Kim Richards trilogy. I’d read it just to get some dirt on Splits McGee and the Gay Bull Mastiff!
Aaaahhh…villains. Like in all things storytelling, no good tale works without a villain and a hero. And of course it's the villain who causes all the drama and gives the show its luster. Reality TV is the perfect place for a crazy, scheming, venomous nut job to crop up back stab, lie, and start trouble.
While the heroes get all the fans, the villains make the show. So here's to you, Reality TV villains. And without further ado, here is Reality Tea's list of Top 11 Reality TV Villains! There's just so many good ones.
