It’s a baby girl for Maci Bookout and Taylor McKinney! The Teen Mom OG couple welcomed their daughter, Jayde Carter, yesterday afternoon. Maci announced the news via Twitter and shared that Jayde weighed 7 lbs, 15 oz.
Jayde joins big brother Bentley, Maci‘s son with Ryan Edwards. “I am calling her my miracle baby,” Maci said in December about her unexpected second pregnancy. “This time I’m able to be excited. I’m older and able to give my baby the stability of the relationship that Taylor and I have.”
Obviously, Farrah didn’t take too kindly to Maci‘s criticism, especially when she referred to her as a porn star. “Maci has a lying problem,” said Farrah. “Maybe she thinks there’s so much attention on me that she needs some. I feel like she needs mental help. I would never let my daughter around a parent like Maci.”
About that failed meeting, Farrah said, “What I think it would take to effectively communicate with Maci would be for her to allow her mind to expand from where it is and to be more mature about life. That’s as simple as that. I feel that there is a possibility for growth and maturity on Maci‘s part and there is always opportunity for resolution and living life happy and trouble-free.”
For comparison’s sake, part three of the season 6 reunion logged 4.29 million viewers and the season 6 average was 3.87 million viewers. While the decline is troublesome, IMHO, Real Housewives of Atlanta still brings more viewers to Bravo than the others in the franchise. Case in point: this week’s episode of Real Housewives of New York attracted just 1.385 million viewers.
The reality TV viewer numbers are in and ready to be analyzed. Teen Mom OG saw its third increase in a row with 1.855 million tuning in this week. The mid-season finale of Dance Moms garnered 1.451 million viewers, bringing the season five average to 1.57 million viewers. For comparison’s sake, the season four finale attracted 1.619 million and the season average was 1.84 million.
Wait… did Jenelle Evans write a relationship advice book? I haven’t heard of one, but it must exist because Amber Portwod and Matt Baier clearly read it. Amber and Matt met on Twitter. Matt moved in. Matt proposed and Amber said yes. In March, Amber gushed about how perfect they are together. In April, the Teen Mom OG shared on Twitter that Matt cheated. In May, Matt gushed about how perfect they are together. INSANITY.
In a recent interview with Starcasm, Matt opened up about his own experience with addiction, his admiration for Amber, and more. “Some people will tell you putting two addicts together is a recipe for disaster,” shared Matt. “Not if one of those addicts is Amber Portwood. Because this woman is the strongest person. Neither of us ever judged each other, which is why our relationship is so great right now. We don’t have anything to hide.”
Teen Mom OG dad Gary Shirley is officially a father of two. Gary and his girl friend, Kristina Anderson, welcomed a baby girl over the weekend. Emilee Grace was born late Saturday night and weighed in at 7 pounds, 11.4 ounces.
“Spending time with my lovely family and the newest of them all,” gushed Gary. “I love my beautiful daughter Emilee Grace Shirley. She is so perfect in every way. I love the wonderful woman who gave her to me and put her body through many changes including an emergency c-section.”
Gary continued, “Kristina you are more beautiful to me now than ever! God has a path for us all and I’m so glad he put you in my life! Leah and I are better to have you! You truly are my Mrs. Wonderful. I know you tell me all the time how blessed you are to have me, but it truly is backwards. I’m blessed to have you.”
