Wanna get a glimpse of Teresa Giudice‘s life on the inside – I mean, before her tell-all is released? The incarcerated Real Housewives Of New Jersey star just released excerpts from her prison diary. And oh, let me tell you they are quite the read – too bad her ghostwriter wasn’t available for re-writes!
Teresa’s attorney confirms reports that she’s working on a memoir, to be published once she is released from Danbury Correctional Facility in December. Teresa, who fancies herself the next Piper Kerman, will “tell the story everyone is dying to know: what life is like behind bars,” reveals James. L. Leonard Jr, her lawyer.
Teresa Giudice wants the world to know she supports the Supreme Court’s ruling to make same-sex marriage a right nationwide, and she’s taking to Twitter (via Gia) to prove it. “Finally some good news coming out of a court! #Justice&Equality4All #LoveWins,” Tre tweeted Saturday after the landmark ruling was announced June 26.
Teresa’s followers responded with a mix of praise and scorn for the ongoing Twitter activity the Real Housewives of New Jersey star is engaging in from prison. “@Teresa_Giudice prison must not be too bad if you’re tweeting. Must be nice to be a ‘celebrity’ in ‘prison’. u should not have access,” commented one follower.
Despite a court report stipulating that federal prosecutors were lawfully allowed to seize Teresa Giudice‘s assets to satisfy her restitution debts, Teresa’s out-spoken attorney James L. Leonard Jr. denies that’s that the case!
Teresa relinquished her 2005 Maserati (why she still had that when she was $13 million in debt is a complete mystery!) along with a portion of her RHONJ paychecks to satisfy her restitution debts to the feds.
On Friday, federal prosecutors obtained the rights to seize the Giudice’s property or cash in order to satisfy their outstanding restitution debts. Teresa owes the federal government $414,588 as part of her sentence for mortgage and bankruptcy fraud.
Teresa Giudice caused quite a stir on Sunday when a tweet popped up on her personal Twitter account. “Thank you everyone for all of the cards, letters, and kind words of support,” the tweet read. “I love, love, love you all. XO, T!”
Many wondered, is the Real Housewives of New Jersey star getting special privileges in prison? Or is a friend/family member tweeting on Teresa‘s behalf? Teresa’s lawyer, James Leonard Jr, came forward to clear up the confusion.
It was a bit of a shock to open Twitter tonight and see a Tweet from Teresa pop up! I’m sure it was a family member or a rep who is sharing Teresa’s words, but it was still surprising since the account has been silent since Christmas time! Teresa took to Twitter to thank her fans for their support during this time.
