I believe that in response to Honey Boo Boo being an example of the dumbing down of our country, it was Bryan who replied that Twitter was actually even worse. Truer words, Bryan, truer words. Now Real Housewives of New Jersey'sCaroline Manzo has come under fire on the social media site.
Caroline was a recent co-host on Anderson Live and she shared her experiences of getting death threats in the Twitterverse from some pretty rabid fans. Seriously? Don't people realize that they don't actually know the stars of these shows? I highly doubt many of them would give any of us a second thought. Not that they aren't decent people, but they've got their own stuff to worry about! Anyhoo, some Caroline haters have been sending her less than stellar messages via Twitter, and she wants to remind us all that–breaking news!–it's just a television show!
Casting speculation over Real Housewives of New Jersey has been rampant lately. Who's in, who's out, who's new, who's possibly returning after being dead for seasons soap opera style. Several sources have promised all the originals will be coming back, but that some new "friends" of Teresa Giudice are joining the cast!
The newest name to be tossed into the ring is Jennifer Dalton. Jennifer is a real estate agent at Sotheby's and is married to a prominent (and uber wealthy) New Jersey real estate developer and is reportedly a friend of both Teresa and Dina Manzo. She attended Teresa's Fabellini launch last season.
Jennifer has already been vetted by Bravo and appeared on Pregnant in Heels last season. And just who attended her baby shower which was filmed for the show? None other than Teresa andKim D!
Can you believe it's December already? It's a lazy Sunday morning, which is a great time to catch up on everything you missed this week. Let's take a look back at the best news, photos, and recaps of the past week in the world of reality TV.
Guess what, y'all? Real Housewives of New Jersey'sTeresa Giudice isn't divorcing Juicy Joe after Christmas! She's waiting for Groundhog's Day…it's more appropriate. Not that I thought all the rumors were a publicity stunt or anything, cough, cough. Of course Teresa is on hand to debunk any divorce gossip that may be heading her way. I can't say I blame her.
At a recent NephCure fundraiser, Teresa was quick to put the kibosh on any talk that she and Joe were heading in different directions. I'll be honest….I never thought that Teresa would engage in such a public divorce. She knows where her bread is buttered. No, it's not with Joe, but it's with the publicity she gets as a reality star who is married to someone whose relationship often makes or breaks the tabloids. Tre has to be totally exhausted.
I know, I know…all of these ladies are wearing on our last nerves. However, Caroline is promising to come back for next season with a positive attitude, and she has no time for the negativity that may surround the potential comeback of Danielle (not happening!) or the ensuing drama that swirls around her nemesis Teresa. Why are we still listening to any of these women? Oh yeah, it is mildly entertaining to hear them trade passive aggressive barbs in the tabloids. 'Tis the season!
Tom MurroaskedJacqueline what motivated her to return to the show when she seemed so unhappy during the reunion and with her co-stars. Jacqueline's response: "Several things make me stay, contracts and the money of course, but also because I know my son will get so much help and support from others."
"As much as this helps us, we can help others in a big way," Jacqueline added. "We can use the platform to raise awareness and do so much good."
Our favorite Real Housewives can’t get enough of the spotlight during their regularly scheduled time slots, so they take to Twitter to share even more of their daily lives with us. And we love them for it! Here’s a roundup of the Real Housewives' Thanksgiving! Enjoy!
Aaahhh… the holidays. So much to be thankful for, so many blessings to count. I don't know about y'all but I'm thankful for reality TV. I mean, what's not to love? I get to appreciate drama without personally getting involved, it makes me feel better about my own life, and I get paid to complain about said drama starters – while drinking wine.
So thanks Andy Cohen, et al for giving me a reason to be thankful. Because without the embarrassing antics of our favorite reality stars I'd be forced to actually focus on my own life. Ew.
Below are our favorite reasons we're thankful for reality TV this Thanksgiving.
