Just a little background if you have been living under a rock. The Real Housewives of New York City made the trek to Heather Thomson's retreat in the Berkshire. Drama started early when Kristen Taekman splashed Ramona Singer with a little water, in turn Ramona threw wine on her — for the second time in two episodes — followed by chucking the glass at her face. Then after a sort-of apology, Ramona used her childhood trauma to flee the vacation. Even though she had already been filmed packing and calling a friend for a ride to the Hamptons before her 'breakdown' that made her want to leave. Classy!
Was anyone else confused by Ramona Singer'sbehavior last night on the Real Housewives of New York City? First she gives Kristen Taekman a half-ass apology for throwing a wine glass at her face. Then the next morning she is caught packing by Carole Radziwill, right after she calls her friend to come and get her in the Berkshires. Then on a hike through the woods, she is so traumatized over some leaves and fallen trees that she has to leave the Berkshires immediately, without even saying good-bye to her bestie, Sonja Morgan.
After all these years on camera did she not think that we could all see her calling her friend to come and get her long before her traumatizing hike? I have long since given up on trying to explain Ramona Singer and her bad behavior. But in her latest Bravo blog, she tries to justify her actions….
A little backstory if you have not seen this week's episode of the Real Housewives of New York City. Heather Thomson takes all the girls to her gorgeous home in the Berkshires for a relaxing weekend. Ramona Singer and Sonja Morgan are complaining from the very beginning. I was actually shocked at how these two were behaving. Did they miss that lesson on normal decency and proper behavior in someone else's home?
But things went from bad to worse when the ladies went out on the lake in a couple of canoes….
E! News recently spoke to the Skinnygirl mogul at a Cinco de Mayo party — perfect holiday for the girl who invented the Skinnygirl margarita — where Bethenny opened up about her Mother's Day plans and how she is holding up amidst all the drama. But did she say anything about her rumored romance with Warren Lichtenstein or Michael Cerussi?
First thing's first, Heather Thomson is the real deal and I love her for it. She isn't fake and she continues to call the other New York housewives on their BS. Oh, how I wish she would have been in the room when Ramona Singerthrew wine on Kristen Taekman. Surely she would have been as shocked as we were. But she could have said something, unlike us viewers at home, who could only stare at our TV's.
Heather Thomson just keeps keeping it real. The 'street' member of the Real Housewives of New York City recently appeared at the New York Stock Exchange as Wet Paint's parent company, Viggle, rang the opening bell. While there, Heather dished about what we have in store for us for the rest of the season, her biggest regret, if her friendships are real and which tagline is her favorite.
Bethenny Frankel just keeps us guessing about her love life. After calling it quits with husband, Jason Hoppy, she was rumored to have a new man in her life in billionaire Warren Lichtenstein. She was seen vacationing with him in tropical locales and word on the street — I just wanted to talk like Aviva Drescher for a minute — was that she was even staying at his apartment.
The former Real Housewives of New York star denied that they were an item, and said they were just "good friends". Fast forward to New Year's Eve in Miami where Bethenny was seen canoodling and partying with muscle-bound Michael Cerussi III. Now a new lawsuit filed against Mr. Lichtenstein names Bethenny as his girlfriend. So what gives?
The Real Housewives of New York City's resident "normal" person, Carole Radizwill, was pushed to her limit recently by slanderous claims made by her costar,Aviva Drescher. I truly think that Aviva needs to lay off the cuckoo juice that she has recently been drinking. Or does she just live in a world where she believes if she says it, then it must be true. I was truly confused by her claims of Carole using a ghostwriter and how she wrote her own book and that it was easy, "like a long email'.
If you missed it, in last night's episode of the Real Housewives of New York City, Bookgate got into full swing when Aviva told every other cast member that she was told be her publishing house — which I am sure they are thrilled about — that New York Times Bestselling author Carole used a ghostwriter when she wrote her first novel, The Widows Guide to Sex & Dating. We were cutoff in the middle of Carole confronting Aviva — best line,"I was really happy for you when you got a book deal, but [comparing your writing to mine is] like apples and spaceships." — but thank goodness for Bravo blogs!
