TheDirty referenced a RadarOnline article yesterday which showed pictures of Tamra and new boyfriend Eddie Judge on a romantic vacation. Eddie was of course referred to as being a friend of Simon’s in the article, something Tamra denies and accuses Simon of lying about, simply to make her look bad.
The email Tamra sent to TheDirty is below -
In the email, Tamra references Simon’s new friendship with Gretchen Rossi’s alleged former lover Jay Photoglou. Not exactly certain why Tamra seems repulsed by this considering she was the first one to befriend Jay last year, while he fed her some damaging information about Gretchen. All of which she shared with viewers during last year’s dramatic reunion show.
Jay then sent an email to TheDirty claiming he was with Simon when he infamously ran into Tamra and Eddie together in Las Vegas. According to Jay, Simon was crushed, and Tamra knew beforehand that Simon would be at the club.
Sighs, it’s becoming more difficult to keep up with this OC drama.

This season has chronicled the housewives’ financial struggles whether small or major. Gretchen Rossi had a garage sale, Jeana Keough went shopping with her daughter at H&M, Tamra Barney is now doing her own housework, and coming up soon will be the eviction of Lynne Curtin. Off camera, Slade Smiley’s financial difficulty is also common knowledge since the publication of a report showing he owes over $80,000 in back child support.
All of the above is a drastic turn from what we’re used to seeing from the OC Housewives. Long gone are the days of buying yatches, diamond rolexes and harleys. A new article from the Huffington Post details the financial woes of the housewives. “All of them have been very much affected by the economic situation,” explains the show’s executive producer, Douglas Ross.
Ross discusses the upcoming episode that will show Lynne’s family being evicted. “We try to treat it as gently but as honestly as we can,” Ross says. “We happened to have been there with our cameras … as part of our normal schedule when they were served the eviction notice. It’s one of those great reality TV moments that happened to be caught because we were in the right place at the right time.”
And though money can be a sensitive issue, the OC housewives don’t seem to mind sharing their struggles with millions of viewers. “It helps people across the nation because they realize it’s not just them,” says Jeana. “I’m pretty open. … There’s not too much I’ll hide. It was difficult for my husband … but the world’s in this place right now and I think people are going to relate to it,” adds Tamra.
Though the housewives get paid to appear on the show, Jeana says the amount (rumored to be $100,000 per housewife) is not enough to support a family. “It’s so minimal. It’s not enough to make your house payments. It’s more like a location fee to keep your house clean.”
Vicky Gunvalsonis however one of the luckier housewives as her insurance business is booming more than ever. “When I first started (on the show), I was working out of the house with two employees and now I have a huge office with 10 employees, 700 agents out in the field,” says Vicki, who plans to retire comfortably at age 55. Interestingly, the HuffingtonPost article quotes Vicki as saying she is 42 years old, which is false as she is 47.
Despite her very public eviction, Lynne says things are looking up for she and her family as she predicts they will be able to build a house next year. “My husband is a builder in Southern California. It’s not like he doesn’t try. He’s not sitting at home watching TV. He is going out and making an effort. … I’ve been married for 20 years. … We’ve had the high life we’ve had the low life. It’s just reality.”
One of the original Orange County “Housewives,” Jeana Keough is leaving the show to focus on work. Due to the chanllenges of the real estate bussiness, the Wisconsin native and former Playboy Playmate wants to focus her attention on short sales and escrow disbursements.
Tonight’s episode will highlight her exit from the show. Though she is off the show, Jeana plans to tune in every Thursday. In a recent interview, Jeana opens up on her departure, plans to return to TV, what she really thinks about Vicki, Gretchen & Slade’s relationship plus the possibility of a wedding.
These are excerpts from Jeana’s interview below:
Well, now that we’re on the topic. Explain a little more about why you decided to leave the show.
Work. My real estate just went down two-thirds because I wasn’t around the summer to do the open houses and do the things that make me successful. I mean, you can have 15 listings but if you’re not the one sitting on them on the weekend and telling the people the positive things about the houses and why they should buy this house instead of another house — it just … me not being there hurt my sales. The market changed horribly anyway. And me taking off four months in the height of the season was just really hard on me. I needed a summer to get my business back on track. I took a few other jobs. I’m doing, like, three spokesperson jobs. I needed to focus on my income. Loan modifications and short sales take an extraordinary amount of time over a normal sale. So I had to do four loan modifications on four properties. Plus helping all my clients do their short sales. I really didn’t have time to do the show. I had to move Kara from Berkeley down to UCLA. I had to go college searching with Colton. The kids were at a point in their life where they wanted a break from it. They really enjoyed their break from it … but now they miss it.
Over the seasons, we see the ins and outs of your relationship with Vicki. You guys bicker occasionally, but you always seem to work things out. This season, we learn that you asked to borrow money from Vicki and she didn’t help you out. And it seems you sort of lost touch. Talk a little bit about the situation.
It was a small amount of money. It was a deadline for summer school and I didn’t get a check for a week. It was a small amount of money for a small amount of time. It meant nothing. I picked up the phone and called my next friend. It didn’t bother me at all. It just … I don’t know. It hurt my feelings just for a second. But I didn’t dwell on it. I don’t even know why she mentioned it. It was an insignificant thing. I’m not sure. It didn’t hurt my friendship with her. We just got busy. You see in the next few episodes, she traveled a lot this summer. She had to go to a whole bunch of different states for work. And she traveled with the show to a couple of different places. She wasn’t around. Normally, I went on vacations with her. If she was going to Mexico, we’d go. But I’m on a Mexican moratorium so I didn’t go this year.
What do you think of the Tamra-Gretchenfeud?
I told Tamra many, many times: “It’s none of your business. One guy woke you up one night. Get over it. Say you’re sorry.” We actually did an appearance where she apologized on TV. She wanted to do it on TV so everyone would know. She did apologize. She wanted to move on. But, of course, the episode came out and it brought up bad feelings. Hopefully, it’s done now and we can move on.
What about Gretchen and Slade’s relationship? True love?
I have a feeling they will be the next wedding. They’re very, very close. And they’re so cute together. Gretchen’s a girlfriend kind of girl. She wants to be married and have kids so … I think they’re in it for the long haul.
I’ve said it previously, and I’ll say it again – Lynne’s plastic surgeon deserves some sort of hall of fame award. That above is some good work.
Dr. Milind K. Ambe is the miracle worker plastic surgeon that performed Lynne’s “face lift” on July 11 in Newport Beach, Calif. “He moved my face up by lifting my forehead,” explains Lynne. “I also had a lift around my neck.”
“I’d always worked out a lot, but my head didn’t match my body,” Lynne tells Star. “I was so excited to get the work done.”
And how did Lynne afford her surgery considering her very recent and public eviction? She claims she paid for the procedure using sales from her Lynne Curtin Designs jewelry collection. “It looks like the clock has been turned back 12 years on my face,” she says.
Frank Curtin, Lynne’s husband, approves of his wife‘s new look. Lynne says, “He sends me texts all day saying I’m hot!”
They’re back! The original housewives of bravo are returning for their 5th season tonight.
The Real Housewives of Orange County have pretty much been in the headlines for the past few months. Whether it be Gretchen Rossi’s leaked photos, Lynne Curtin’seviction saga, or Vicki Gunvalson’strashy bar behavior, It’s safe to say these six women will be keeping us entertained for weeks to come.
The DailyBeast caught up with the OC Housewives to discuss their new season, and changes in their lives. Vicki claims the show has negatively affected her insurance business, leading her to almost not return for the 5th season. “I almost lost a very large client of mine—a $2 million client—because he Googled me and said he didn’t like what he was seeing on the TV show,” Gunvalson, 47, told The Daily Beast.
Bravo promises the upcoming season will address the financial woes of some of the ladies, including that of Jeana Keough, who’s divorce and a down real-estate market prompted her to quit the show to focus on work full-time. She will be leaving the show after 3 episodes. Jeana however reveals other reasons for leaving the show, “I just didn’t feel appreciated by the girls or the network,” she said.
Tamra Barney, 42, will be one of the housewives dealing with financial woes. Her home is currently listed as a short sale, and she has had to let both a nanny and a maid go to save cash. This season will also deal with Tamra doing a lot of arguing with her husband Simon Barney. “He did not want to come back this season, and I did,” she said. “He’s very private and conservative. We’re having a lot of financial problems, and he just didn’t want to expose that.”
Tonight’s episode will show Gretchen reflecting on the death of her deceased fiance, and confronting Tamra about the things Tamra said about her last season. It will also feature Vicki skydiving, and Lynn contemplating having a facelift.
TELL US – WHAT ARE YOUR THOUGHTS ON TONIGHT’S EPISODE?
It’s obvious to see some of the ladies have spent their summers with their plastic surgeons. Housewife Lynne Curtin is barely recognizable. Based on the bio information, it seems Jeana Keough will be leaving the season early, similar to what Lauri Waring did last season.
Below are the photos and a brief bio of what is to come this season of each housewife -
Gretchen Rossi – In Season 5 Gretchen copes with the death of her finance Jeff, and learns how to move on both professionally and personally. Gretch’s social life heats up when she finds a surprising new love interest (who OC fans may or may not recognize … )
Alexis Bellino – Alexis is the new Housewife on the block. Will former new girls Gretchen and Tamra give Alexis a chance, or combine their forces for peroxide-bleached evil?
The video preview below also shows us the ladies will definitely be bringing back the drama!
The shocking preview highlights the following about each housewife -
Tamra Barney – Struggles in her marriage to husband, Simon Barney, and even mentions the ‘D’ word – Divorce. She will also be dealing with financial problems as she attempts to sell her house, which is now up for short sale and might be foreclosed on soon.
Lynne Curtin – Will be shown getting a face lift, while dealing with financial difficulties with her husband. Her eviction was made very public in recent weeks.
Gretchen Rossi - Is shown struggling with losing deceased fiance Jeff Beitzel, though she had already moved on with new boyfriend Slade Smiley before this season’s filming started. She is also shown confronting Tamra about the nasty things she said about her.
Vicki Gunvalson – Is shown attempting to mend her marriage after spending all of last season putting down her husband, and continued to do so by being photographed in public giving lap dances to random men, and baring her bottom in a public bar to get a tattoo.
Jeana Keough – Is shown having some difficulty with her real estate dealings.
Alexis Bellino – The newest housewife and a friend of Gretchen’s will be attempting to fit in with the other housewives.

Evicted Orange County housewife, Lynne Curtin, is now being accused of looting. Evidently Lynne was not only renting her home, but also some of the furniture in it. Lynne and her family moved out of their evicted home days ago.
The actual homeowner/landlord claims the Curtins stole a bookcase, credenza, armoire and a glass shelf — worth around $5,000 — and reported the alleged thievery to Laguna Beach Police Department Friday.
The homeowner also alleges the home’s carpet was trashed, there were holes in the walls and the travertine tub was damaged.
In a statement to TMZ, the homeowner says, “I am blown away that grown people can behave this way. They have daughters, how can they seriously think they are setting an example.”
TMZ is also reporting that this isn’t the first time the Real Housewives of Orange County star and her family have been evicted. Documents were dug up from 2003 that shows the Curtins were kicked out of a home for owing that homeowner: $9,104, an amount they allegedly never paid.
