It’s time for an update on those crazy thirty-year-old adults kids from the Jersey Shore! On tap today, we have have a ridiculously rich fist pumper, a very relieved former pill popper, and the announcement of the premiere date for what will likely be the gang’s (or at least Nicole “Snooki” Polizzi’s) final season of the show.
Forget GTL, everyone’s favorite future pseudo uncle needs a new catchphrase–GTM2, as in gym, tan, make millions. Forbes just released its list of highest paid deejays, and Pauly D was number 7 in the rankings. The easy-going prankster can clearly spin some turntables as it’s being reported he made $11 million in the last twelve months. Yes, you read that correctly! How does one learn to spin tunes? I could surely be a blogger by day and a deejay by night, right? Who needs sleep? Given that Pauly has his own spin-off, a line of clothing, his name on some tanning lotion, and a set of headphones he markets with 50 Cent, it’s safe to say that Pauly is more than just an orange face a pretty face. He’s a cash cow with gravity defying hair!
There’s some good news and some bad news for some of the gang from Jersey Shore. Somebody is getting sued and somebody is going to be an uncle!
Bad news first…Mike “The Situation” Sorrentino is being sued by a Florida company called Performance Brands for failing to promote its fat-metabolizing cream. The company claims that they fronted the reality television star $75,000 to endorse the product via social media and personal appearances. However, as soon as Sitch got paid, he checked into rehab for his prescription drug addiction.
TMZ reports that the company is none too happy that Mike failed to perform his contractual obligations, especially since he originally lied about where he was going. Performance Brands wants all of its money back since he failed to disclose his drug addiction. Mike, of course, is firing back with his own law suit, alleging the company failed to provide him with the promotional materials necessary to fulfill his duties.
In response to The Situation‘s lawsuit against Abercrombie & Fitch, the company apparently believes they’ve done nothing wrong and The Situation has no grounds to sue them after they supposedly banned him from wearing their clothes and then referenced his famous phrases on two of their t-shirts! The company is accusing The Situation of having both a baseless lawsuit and of being unable to take a joke. Seriously.
The Situation filed a lawsuit against the company for knocking off slogans he claims he trademarked. The trademarks in question G.T.L and The Situation, of course!
Abercrombie & Fitch now denies the Jersey Shore star has any grounds to sue them “because he doesn’t technically own the trademarks in question… he only applied for them.” According to TMZ, A&F claims The Situation’s application for Gym Tan Laundry has been “suspended” because MTV “already owns ‘Gym Tanning Laundry,’ and the US Patent & Trademark Office thinks they’re too similar.” Oh my…
Despite the trademark issues, Abercrombie also believes that producing the shirts in question is actually protected under a law that “allows parody as part of free speech.” Not only that they were meant to be a joke and The Situation should get a sense of humor! The Situation has yet to comment on Abercrombie’s claims.
In other Jersey Shore news Snooki has been on a diet! And girl looks good! Revealing her new bikini body on Twitter, Snooki has been dieting and exercising diligently — and it has paid off. “So happy I’m at my goal weight I was when I was in high school! Feelin fit is amazing and can’t wait to tone up hardcore,” Snooki tweeted. And to complete her total transformation, Snooki asked Santa for a pair of “knockers” like JWoww‘s! Photos of a bikini clad Snooki are below.

Almost a week after his father released a number of videos trashing him and revealing his plans to write a tell-all book about him, Jersey Shore star Mike Sorrentino has now filed a lawsuit.
According to TMZ, the breaking point for Mike came after his dad Frank Sorrentino created the website TheConfrontationSite.com to spill more details about him.
In the lawsuit, Mike alleges his dad is illegally using his name and likeness all over his website. He also insists his dad is actively trying to damage his business reputation by posting anti-Situation videos and statements all over the site.
Mike is asking a judge to stop his father from using his name and likeness on the website right away while also seeking unspecified damages.
Meanwhile, Mike and his costars are still in Italy filming the 4th season of their show. Below are some pics of the cast out and about in Florence, Italy including a pic of The Situation making out with a random grenade blonde last night. Photos credit – Celebuzz.
