Judge Makes Order In Jon & Kate Court Battle!

Jon & Kate Gosselin made their widely anticipated appearance in a Pennsylvania courthouse this morning to battle over allegations that Jon withdrew $230,000 from the couple’s shared banking account.

Jon had also filed court papers of his own against Kate — claiming she withdrew over $60,000 from their joint account this year without permission … and that there’s over $1 million that hasn’t been properly accounted for.

According to TMZ, the judge failed to make a ruling today, instead ordering the estranged couple to settle up and work it out with the arbitrator. The judge declared he will go along with anything the arbitrator decides under one condition — it has to be in the best interests of the children.

The judge also said any monies taken improperly from the joint account should be returned, but he didn’t get specific. He also suggested Jon and Kate keep things “private” and “amicable” from here on out. Highly doubt that will be happening anytime soon.

The couple is due back in court on Oct. 26th.

Jon Gosselin Files Court Papers: Kate Is Hiding Money!

A few days after Kate Gosselin claimed estranged husband Jon Gosselin raided their joint account, Jon has filed court papers claiming Kate did the same.

Jon is claiming Kate withdrew over $60,000 from their joint account between July and September 2009. In addition, he also wants an explanation for over $1 million Kate withdrew from February 2008 to June 2009 which according to Jon, have not been properly accounted for.

Jon is also admitting he took money out of the couple Jon’s account in the court papers filed, he however does not reveal the amount he took. The papers released by his lawyer state, “husband admits that he has taken funds from the joint money market account, Husband avers that wife has removed funds from the account as well.”

According to TMZ, Kate sources close to Kate are adamant that her withdrawals were legal and note that Jon withdrew $230,000 without the necessary permission required by the arbitrator. Both sides will be in court on Tuesday.

Kate Gosselin Files for Alimony & Child Support From Jon

Another day, another chapter. Kate Gosselin has filed paperwork asking for child support and temporary spousal support in response to Jon Gosselin taking $230,000 from the couple’s joint bank account, says Mark Momjian, one of her divorce attorneys.

Sources reveal that the petition was filed in court sometime last week — around the same time Jon, 32, tried to halt production on their newly titled TLC show, Kate Plus 8, claiming the show is hurting his kids.

“She needs relief in light of the draining of substantial marital assets in violation of the arbitrator’s decision that the money should be used only for specific purposes,” says Momjian, adding that the money issues between the Gosselins are being hammered out by a court-appointed arbitrator per an agreement on both sides. An arbitrator’s conference is scheduled for Tuesday, according to Momjian.

Jon’s divorce attorney, Mark Heller, has yet to comment on Kate’s request.

Jon & Kate Gosselin Keep It Cordial for Kids’ Birthday

The latest in the soap opera known as the Gosselins is news that the couple kept their cool for their twins’ birthday party.

Jon Gosselin had threatened the party would turn into WWIII if Kate refused to let him stay. Then there was some more drama involving both parents getting separate cakes for the twins.

“We kept it cordial for the kids,” Jon told Usmagazine outside the party Thursday evening. The Jon & Kate Plus 8 dad picked up the kids from the bus stop after school earlier in the day, and said he planned to stay “awhile” but not overnight.

Jon however managed to roll his eyes when asked how things were going with Kate, saying things were “fine.”

The Birthdaygate drama began when Jon accused Kate of trying to change their joint-custody arrangement so that he could only be present at their home from 4 to 6 p.m during the party.

“I won’t allow that,” he told ET. “She’s basically saying it would be too stressful to the kids to have both of us here, like we originally planned.”

So that’s it for Birthdaygate, that is until something new develops before the end of the day of course. But seriously, will someone tell these two, especially Jon, that Mady & Cara are now 9 years of age, and might perhaps have access to the Internet and tabloids, where they can unfortunately read about their parents bickering daily about nothing.

Bethenny Frankel To Jon Gosselin: ‘Get Your Crap Together’

Bethenny Frankel had some choice words for Jon Gosselin during a segment the duo taped together for The Insider that aired Tuesday.

Never shy to give her opinion, The Real Housewives of NYC star told Jon, “I think you’re defeated. You need to pull yourself up from your bootstraps and get back to your kids and get your crap together.” Bethenny continued, “You need to pull it together.”

Jon– who halted production on Kate Plus 8 – replied, “That’s what I am trying to do.”

“Everyone’s mad at you right now,” sneered Bethenny, 38. She goes on, “America has a big problem with the fact that [your kids] are growing up on a television show. You never know what the effects will be 20 years from now.”

Referring to some of Jon’s latest antics, Bethenny added – “It looks like you went through a rebellious phase.”

Jon responded, “Of course. I went from [age] 32 to 23. My therapist has told me that. My therapist told me I went from 32 to 23.”

In other news, Kate Gosselin refuted Jon’s claims that the show was harmful to their kids. Kate said Monday on the Today show. “Times eight, there was wailing and sobbing. They love the crew, they love the interaction, they love the events. It is not harmful to them. They are angry.”

Kate Gosselin: Jon Took $200,000 From Joint Account

The Gosselin drama gets uglier as each day goes by. The latest is Kate Gosselin accusing Jon Gosselin of taking out $200,000 from the couple’s joint account, leaving only $1,000 for Kate.

According to RadarOnline, Jon violated an arbitrator’s rules by pulling hundreds of thousands of dollars out of his joint account with Kate. Jon is said to have withdrawn this amount just hours after his appearance on Larry King Live on Thursday.

Radar confirmed with multiple sources that Kate routinely pays the family bills from that bank account. Jon’s actions are said to be in violation of the Gosselin divorce arbitrator’s guidelines.

Kate has engaged a high-powered lawyer who immediately sent Jon a letter, demanding he return the money to the bank account. Another attorney for Kate will go to court in Pennsylvania on Monday to file papers demanding the money be returned.

Kate also appeared on the Today Show Monday morning confirming these events.

Jon Gosselin’s Lawyer: TLC “Exploited, Manipulated” Family

Jon Gosselin appeared on Larry King Live Thursday night along with his his attorney Mark Heller.

During the duo’s explosive appearance, Jon Gosselin‘s lawyer promised to kill the Jon & Kate Plus 8 TLC reality show. Heller claimed TLC terminated Jon’s Jon & Kate Plus 8 contract because Jon was planning to go on the show and announce he was ending the program by no longer appearing on it and by refusing to allow his children to participate.

Heller said he considered the termination of the Gosselin reality show “a done deal,” stating that the TLC contract was “null’ and claimed that TLC bamboozled Jon and his family into signing the contract when they had no legal representation of their own.

Jon went on to claim he had an “epiphany” one day that the show was harmful for his children and that he wants filming to cease immediately. Though he has said numerous times in the past that his kids were fine with filming, and that they loved the crew.

Jon insisted that it was his right as a a parent to decide if the show is right for his family. He also claimed that it wasn’t about money or about him being dropped from the title of the show.

When asked by King how much he made from the series last year, Jon replied $1 million before taxes, $500,000 after.

Kate Gosselin Speaks – “Saddened and Confused” By Jon’s Actions

Kate Gosselin is speaking out on the latest actions of her estranged husband, Jon Gosselin. Kate slams Jon in a new statement, saying her priorities lie with her children while Jon is more concerned about himself.

Kate reveals that Jon had never voiced any complaints to her about his concern for their children’s welfare. She goes on to say Jon was still taping with the kids just 6 days ago, before TLC decided to change the name of their hit show to Kate Plus 8.

TLC has suspended production of the show due to Jon’s actions and threats.

“I’m saddened and confused by Jon’s public media statements. Jon has never expressed any concerns to me about our children being involved in the show and, in fact, is on the record as saying he believes the show benefits our children and was taping on Friday with the kids. I check in regularly with each of the kids to be sure they want to participate in and continue with the show and will continue to do so. I do the show for my family because I believe it provides us opportunities we wouldn’t otherwise have.

Jon used to share that belief until as recently as the day the network announced the name change of the show and indicated that Jon would have a lesser role in the show. It appears that Jon’s priority is Jon and his interests. My priority remains our children and their well being.”
