Love & Hip Hop Recap: Spreading The Love

Should I be concerned that Love & Hip Hop is going soft of me? Last night's episode was a veritable love fest with friendship, mended fences, and a long-awaited engagement. What happened to the screaming and hair pulling and drink throwing? Not that I'm complaining, it's just a foreign concept.

We begin as a frazzled Erica Mena meets with Yandy Smith to share that Olivia Longott is recording her ballad thanks to Rich Dollaz. She can't believe that her ex-boyfriend would use that against her. Yandy asks about what Erica wants to do with management. Erica still wants to ignore the fact having a manager is important for her career. Yandy reminds her that Rich was the only person in her corner…Erica needs Rich more than he needs her.

Tahiry Jose's mom is in town and loves seeing her daughter's rap magazine centerfold. Tahiry is excited that she and her mother finally have an adult friendship after a tense childhood. They discuss their past, including how her father juggled his twelve kids before being deported. Her trust issues do seem to come honestly, that's for sure. The duo is crying over her father's indiscretions, and Tahiry thinks that many of her past issues have contributed to her problems with Joe Budden. Her mother encourages Tahiry to talk things out with her dad.

Mob Wives Recap: Krav Ma Ta-Tas!

I'm starting to wonder if a storm is brewing with the ladies of Mob Wives. So far, everyone has been very civil. Renee Graziano and Drita D'avanzo decided to take out their stress through good ol' fashioned physical exercise, while Big Ang gets enough of a work out holding up her giant jugs. Ramona Rizzo and Karen Gravano were actually cordial to Dave's new girlfriend. Of course, Love Majewski still wants to beat Carla Facciolo's behind, but the pair has yet to meet. Where was Carla last night, anyway?

Last night begins as Ramona and Karen are heading to Karen's brother's storage facility to see if there is any evidence which would allow Karen's father's case to be reopened. There are boxes of trial transcripts and taped conversations. This is not going to be an easy task.

Renee shares with son A.J. that she's going to get an attack dog. He wants to slap her when he hears the pooch could cost upwards of twenty thousand dollars. A.J. thinks that his mom's paranoia are humorous. He wants his mom to lighten up and relax. She's hoping that they can do some mother-son bonding in a Krav Maga class. Not only will it allow the pair to spend time together, it will be another outlet for Renee's aggression. Yeah, that's not going to happen. A.J. tells his mother he isn't going along for the ride as she channels her inner Jackie Chan. Renee then practices some of her wrestling techniques on A.J. in a cute family moment. He really seems like a good kid.

Casting Rumors For Love & Hip Hop Atlanta!

Let's take a quick poll, shall we? What would you rather watch–the original Love & Hip Hop or the astonishingly crazy, can't look away train wreck that is Love & Hip Hop Atlanta? I don't even need to tally the votes. VH1 needs to learn that if it's going to air a scripted, polished soap opera while calling it a reality show, we need to see more craziness a la Joseline. Am I right?

While most viewers are politely watching this season, I can't help but think that they are doing so out of respect for the new member of the L&HH franchise. If we're going to watch fake reality television, the network should be decent enough to give us more ridiculous drama. Is that asking too much? Apparently not…read on!

Will Gloria Govan Return For Basketball Wives L.A. Season 3?

Uh oh. I hope this isn't a case of biting the hand that feeds you! Gloria Govan of Basketball Wives: LA hasn't exactly been loyal to the network who made her a reality star, and VH1 needs to take note about what the reality star is saying in the media. She's got way more important projects in the works, yall ~~like that web series…~~!!

On season two of the show, Gloria pretty much alienated all of her cast mates except for sister Laura, and it's no secret that her husband Matt Barnes isn't a fan of his wife's involvement with the reality series. And speaking of her husband, Gloria didn't even inform the network when she eloped with Matt while the season was filming. That certainly couldn't have gone over well!

Love & Hip Hop Recap: Video Killed The Radio Star

Is it just me, or do y'all also need a flow chart to keep up with the cast of VH1's Love & Hip Hop? I can't even think of a proper introduction because there are so many people in and out of this show! Last night's episode was no exception.

Welcome back, Olivia Longott! Rich Dollaz is happy to reunite with his friend so she can tell him "I told you so." He's ready to oblige when it comes to his relationship with Erica Mena. Liv is quick to call him out as a giant douchebag. She's got his number for sure. Rich apologizes and promises to be focused on her career. He tells her about the ballad that he gave Erica, and Olivia pressures him to give her the song. Rich caves, even though he knows it will hurt Erica to no end when she finds out Liv is singing her ballad.

Tahiry Jose is going to a mixology class hosted by Rashidah Ali. Jen Bayer is also in attendance. Rashidah has a lot of insight into ladies shoes. She reveals that Raqi Thunda has made her way onto a list of up and coming women in the industry. Rashidah wonders who she slept with to get on this list. Tahiry and Rashidah are surprised to learn that Jen is no longer on Raqi's love train, and Jen tells them about what Raqi said about Consequence. Jen also shares that Raqi had choice words for Rashidah, and Rashidah intends to address her gossip when the time presents itself.

Mob Wives Chicago’s Pia Rizza Releases Her Own Nude Pics!

Can I get a slow clap? Finally–FINALLY!–a former reality star proves that she paid attention in Relevancy 101. After Mob Wives Chicago wasn't renewed for a second season, many of the ladies faded into reality obscurity. However, I'm happy to report that one of the "ladies" appreciates the importance of keeping her name in the media.

Pia Rizza has skipped over multiple steps while majoring in Nude Photo Release, and I have to give her mad props. Girlfriend is releasing her own naked pictures to make sure that other people don't profit on her womanly form. I tend to think that Pia is just sending her nudie pics to media outlets hoping for a bite, but I love that she's claiming to be jumping the gun before someone else can beat her to the punch. Mob Wives Recap: Dog Eat Dog

When it comes to the ladies of Mob Wives, they are certainly getting tamer as the weeks go by. Sure, Love Majewski talks a good game, but have we really seen her stab anyone? Nope. With Drita D'avanzo, Ramona Rizzo, and Karen Gravano being all buddy/buddy, there isn't much drama. Carla Facciolo is still on Renee Graziano's list, but she's getting better at removing herself from toxic situations. At least Big Ang is always consistent!

Speaking of, last night's episode starts as Big Ang is prepping for her Christmas party. Even without Renee and Love, she knows things are going to be jolly! Drita arrives and is floored by Ang's hot pink and silver tree. Ang fills her in on Ramona's engagement, and Drita can't believe that Ramona is considering getting married to someone who could be spending decades behind bars. She wouldn't wish that fate on her worst enemy…and her worst enemy used to be Ramona! Karen is the next guest to show up, decked in a feather boa and a Santa hat. Ramona arrives next. Drita is glad to know that Love won't be in attendance because of her issues with Carla.

When Karen learns that Renee isn't ready to be around Carla, she is excited. Karen was only ever nice to Carla because she was Renee's friend. Ang teases Carla for being late, and Karen and Ramona give her the cold shoulder. The tension is awkward, and Karen breaks the ice by telling Carla that Renee isn't there because of her. She is being double teamed by Karen and Ramona, and Ang doesn't think it's any of their business. Carla wants to know why everyone has such an issue with the butter knife…it's not like she was wielding a machete. When Karen asks Drita's opinion, Drita says that if anyone waved a knife at her, she'd shove it where the sun don't shine. Ramona loves Drita's response.

Mob Wives’ Renee Graziano Talks Family, Forgiveness, And Asking For Help

Season three of Mob Wives has seen a good bit of change. Women who were warring are now friends. There is markedly less drama. Renee Graziano even faced her own demons and checked herself into rehab for prescription pill addiction. Is it possible that the ladies of Staten Island are maturing? Nah, that can't be it.

After completing her program, Renee is trying to have a new outlook on life. She's learning to forgive, although it's been difficult given all of the drama with her ex-husband. Renee is focusing on staying strong and being healthy for her son A.J. who is still livid with his father's behavior. She even claims to be much more vulnerable than viewers see on the show. Of course, she's still proud of her edge!
