The For the Love of RayJ 2 Reunion show was the first reunion show VH1 had done since last May and boy o boy did it not disappoint. Two days later, it is still being widely talked about.
The reunion show was a big hit mainly because it brought the drama. The last 10 minutes of the show featured season 1 winner, CocktailakaJoanna Hernandez, coming on the show to warn season two winner- Mz Berry aka Connie Deveaux , about the womanizing ways of Ray J.
Things got particularly heated when Ray J joined both ladies on stage , and got into a shouting match with Cocktail, even accusing her of bedding other women after she accused him of being unfaithful during their brief relationship. Interestingly enough, Cocktail never denied Ray’s claims that she slept with other women as well. Things got even more heated and RayJ ended up walking off the stage. MzBerry followed him, and so did Cocktail, as the two continued their argument backstage.
The reunion show then ended abruptly and we the viewers never even got to know the status of Ray and Mz Berry’s relationship. Mz Berry gave an interview to Talkofthetown411.com Monday night, hours after seeing the reunion show and she shed some light on what really happened between she and Ray before, during and after the dramatic reunion.
In the new interview, Mz Berry claimed she did see Ray J once within the last five months but it was not aired on the reunion show for some reason. She said she was hurt by the reunion show and didn’t understand why Cocktail felt the need to “warn” her. She also said she was a little hurt by Ray J’s actions towards Jaguar, but she already knew his feelings regarding his regret for sending her home early.
As for their current relationship status, she says she and Ray continue to talk but stops clear of saying the two are in a relationship. It’s pretty obvious from listening to Mz Berry that she and Ray are at the most, just friends. According to Mz Berry, Ray was aware that Cocktail would be on the reunion, but did not know the extent of what she would say. However Mz Berry says she was fully unaware that Cocktail would be on the show.
To sum this up, Mz Berry and Ray J are still on friendly terms but are not in a relationship, which is not surprising considering our previous report which revealed Ray J had a 20 year old girlfriend he was serious with the entire time he was filming the show last year.
Part 1 and Part 2 of the interviews below -
TELL US – ARE YOU OVER THESE DATING SHOWS? OR WILL YOU CONTINUE TO WATCH EVEN THOUGH THEY ARE PHONY?
The finale of Tough Love 2 aired two nights ago with most of the ladies walking away from the show with what seemed to be true love; we now have the updates of each lady and their relationship status.
Surprisingly, majority of the ladies are no longer with the men they gave their rings to at the ring ceremony, but the good news is most of them are in new relationships and maintain that their love lives have changed for the better. The only woman that is still with the man she chose is actually Angel, the former stripper and single mom. Angel and Liz are also now living together in California.
There seems to be a recurring theme amongst the ladies, which is the men from the show acted differently once the cameras were gone, and most of them were not genuinely interested in pursuing a relationship.
Status With Man From Show – No Longer Together, Relationship Status Now – Single
What Happened After Show – Jason and I saw each other a few times after boot camp, but it never got serious and I haven’t dated anyone else since the show!
Status With Man From Show – No Longer Together, Relationship Status Now – In A Relationship
What Happened After Show – “After bootcamp, David and I both decided to just be friends for now. We absolutely plan on keeping in touch and visiting each other. He will definitely be a part of my life for a very long time, but I’m not sure he was ‘the one.’”
The finale of the 2nd season of For The Love of Ray J aired last night with 33 year old Mz Berry aka Connie Deveaux beating out Platinum to win the heart of Ray J, or did she?
The question on everyone’s minds is are they still together? The answer to that seems to be NO, coming from Mz Berry’s new interview with VH1. According to her, she and Ray J have barely made any contact since the show finished filming months ago. The winner of the show and the person looking for love are usually discouraged from contacting each other, as not to give away the show’s results, however in the past shows, it has been very common for the two to stay in touch and see each other if they really wanted to.
In other words, Ray J could have made an effort to see and contact the winner of his show if he was genuinely interested. Plus the following photos of Ray J were snapped of him and an unknown lady back in October 2009. Ray J can be seen hugged up and kissing the lady, who has been described to us by sources as being his 20 year old girlfriend. According to the source, Ray and this girl have been together for a while, and were together the entire time he was filming the 2nd season of his show.
As we also previously reported, Ray J broke up with season 1 winner, Cocktail, just so he could do a second season. By the way, he finished filming his second season in early October. These photos were taken around October 26th. You can put two and two together. The photos courtesy of TheYbf.com are below -
The two lovebirds were snapped leaving Hawaii after a vacation. These photos were taken just a week before his show was set to premier last year. The good news is we do get a Reunion show, so it will be interesting to see what Ray has to say about his “relationship” with Mz Berry.
Excerpts from Mz Berry’s interview is below -
How has communication with Ray been since the show wrapped?
Really, Ray and I aren’t allowed to speak to each other. We aren’t allowed to meet or anything like that.
Do you have a good feeling about where things are going?
We just have to see. You can’t really base on everything that happened with us three, four months ago. I wouldn’t say feelings change, but you just have to see. In any type of relationship, you just take it one step at a time. We’ll definitely both talk about what we want, and we’ll see where it goes from there.
Are you excited to see him at the reunion?
Yes, very excited. I’m a little nervous, but very excited.
Tool Academy is back! VH1 has released the latest cast photos and information for the third season, which is set premiere Sunday, Feb. 14 at 9/8c on VH1.
And there is a big twist this season as 2 females or toolettes will be joining the cast for the first time in the show’s history (one of them is part of a same-sex couple). One of the female cast members also happens to be Jennavecia, who was on the 2nd season of Oxygen’sBad Girls Club.
More information from the press release is below –
The first two seasons of Tool Academy documented the journeys of dishonest boyfriends as they participated in weekly therapy sessions and relationship schooling on topics such as honesty, fidelity and communication. Viewers witnessed the shocking arrival of secret extra girlfriends, a surprise wedding and the phenomenon known simply as “Matsuflex.” Each week, the tool that showed the least progress was dismissed, leaving him to plead his case before his girlfriend who chose to keep him or kick him to the curb.
This season welcomes the Academy’s first female tools, or “toolettes,” including the first same-sex couple. But make no mistake: these ladies lie, cheat and strut just as much as their male counterparts. After the most elaborate reveal yet, the new class will undergo lie detector tests, hidden cameras, focus groups and all new physical challenges until just 1 tool remains to collect the $100,000 grand prize.
Jordan Murphy will return to hosting duties and attempt to help these two-timing tools become reformed partners. Also helping to rebuild these broken relationships is couples counselor Trina Dolenz. Ultimately, Trina has the last say in which tools stay and which are expelled from the academy each week.
