VH1 renewed Candidly Nicole for a second season! Based on Nicole Richie‘s hilarious Twitter feed, Candidly Nicole follows Nicole as she tackles every day life situations and shares her views on style, relationships, work, and more.
The concept is simple – but Nicole‘s lovely personality and witty sense of humor make for a great show. Candidly Nicole is a refreshing change of pace from the housewives drama, hip hop drama, couples drama, etc. Bring on season two!
Everyone’s (re: mine) favorite train wreck reality show Couples Therapy will be back. Sadly Farrah Abraham won’t be part of things this year – she’s busy doing other things – but that doesn’t mean there will be any less delusional drama. Thank you VH1!
Now that Juan Pablo Galavis is officially released from his ABC contract, meaning the ex-Bachelor hasn’t been invited to do any further Bachelor-esque events, he and show girlfriend Nikki Ferrell are working through their relationship. Something tells me JP is keeping this relationship alive to keep his time in the spotlight alive…

VH1 promises: “A new group of R&B and hip hop hopefuls have their eyes on the prize and are ready to deliver the shock, drama, and scandal as only the #1 social show of the summer can do. With the music industry constantly evolving, these artists’ unwavering ambition keeps them hustling to stay at the top and willing to lay it all on the line.”
Love & Hip Hop: Hollywood premieres September 15 on VH1. Rumor has is that the cast and their storylines leave a lot to be desired – Toto, I’ve a feeling we’re not in Atlanta anymore – we shall see! Check out the full cast and sneak peek below.
“It is exciting that the continued success of Hollywood Exes has allowed us to expand this popular franchise into additional cities,” shares VH1‘s EVP Susan Levison. “Atlanta is truly enjoying a moment in the spotlight, so taking the Exes brand down South was a natural evolution. This dynamic cast truly defines what it means to be a ‘mover and shaker’ in the Atlanta social scene .”
VH1 promises us “fabulousness, ambition, love, and drama.” I’m anxious to see if this show fares well. Hollywood Exes has a small – but loyal – fan base. VH1 hasn’t promoted Atlanta Exes much, but reality shows based in Atlanta usually do well, so we shall see. Atlanta Exes premieres August 18 at 9 PM ET/PT on VH1. Meet the cast and watch the extended trailer below.
If you have ever wondered what happened to your favorite couples, or the biggest train wreck couples, from Couples Therapy, then I have good news for you! VH1 recently announced that a Couples Therapy reunion is in the works!
“Couples Therapy is taping a special 5-season All-Star Reunion, featuring appearances by some of the most memorable couples from the entire history of the series LIVE onstage before a studio audience,” revealed VH1. “Dr. Jenn Berman will serve as host and moderator for this hi-octane reunion, showing highlights of all the most memorable moments from the series and finding out what has happened with everyone since their experience in Couples Therapy. It will be explosive, entertaining, and a night to remember!”
VH1 announced the new Couples Therapy cast late last week. Season five will feature former porn star Jenna Jameson & John Wood, Big Brother's Dick Donato & Stephanie Rogness-Fischer, former Jersey Shore star Deena Cortese & Chris Buckner, and Naughty By Nature's Treach & Cicely Evans. As a huge fan of Big Brother, I am looking forward to seeing Evel Dick again!
Not impressed with the cast? Ess okay, there's more!
According to E!, Bachelor mistake Juan Pablo Galavis and his chosen one Nikki Ferrell have joined the cast, but they were not mentioned in the press release due to Juan's contract. "It's true they're doing it," confirmed a source. "The reason it wasn't put in the press release is due to Juan Pablo's deal with ABC. It's not up until August, so, contractually, it can't be mentioned until then."
So far Tammy Rivera and Waka Flocka haven't had much of a story line as the newest cast members of Love & Hip Hop: Atlanta, but my fingers are crossed things will change soon. I find there to be something very endearing, intriguing, and entertaining about Waka, and don't get me started about how much I adore his mother!
Tammy, on the other hand, hasn't piqued my interest as much, but Waka loves her, so she must bring something to the table. However, she has thoughts on infidelity that I just don't understand. It seems to be the norm for the women on this show to forgive the men who cheat while vehemently hating the women with whom they cheated. Um, I hate to break it to these ladies, but the chicks getting with their men have no loyalty to them. Their significant others though? That's a entirely different ball of wax!
I'm curious…do you think VH1 and Mona Scott Young really, truly believe that viewers think Love & Hip Hop: Atlanta is a reality show? The acting is fantastically tragic and there is nothing real about it…except for that sex tape, clearly.
Nikko didn't tell Mimi Faust about his confrontation with Stevie J. immediately after it happened, but he spills the beans when they are driving the next day. When she learns that Nikko has told her ex about the deal Vivid, she has to pull over to read Nikko the riot act. She is cruising in her new vehicle (thanks, Steven Hirsch!), and Mimi doesn't want to wreck it when she wrecks him. As she cusses up a storm, Nikko just laughs that Stevie shouldn't get her riled up like this. Mimi tries to kick him out of her ride, but when he refuses, she's the one who storms off on foot.
Lil' Scrappy is eating eggs with Erica P…or at least he hopes to be scrambling some things with her. He arrives at her house to find out that she's lit candles and served wine, and he wonders whether he's there to pray or have sex. Scrappy is a bit nervous, but he wants to be a better person. He is feeling guilty about Bambi and he wants to think with this head and not his hiz-ead. Scrappy shuts down Erica's advances, complimenting her that he'd definitely be with her if he didn't already have Bambi. And they say romance is dead!
