Well Vicki Gunvalson's latest court shenanigans should make for interesting TV!
TheReal Housewives of Orange County star was sued, un-sued, and then re-sued by her Vicki's Vodka partner Robert Williamson III. In response Vicki is not backing down from the man Brooks Ayersattempted to blackmail (and kill?) – allegedly – and is demanding a federal jury trial to determine who is responsible for the collapse of the partnership. Um…
Vicki claims she naively believed Robert was a competent business partner and that she was too trusting of his motives and behaviors. “Mr. Nicholson (Vicki's other partner) and Ms. Gunvalson believed everything Mr. Williamson said about his ability to help capitalize the business and distribute the vodka.”
Vicki has been trying to do the whole Bravo Home Shopping Network thing by expanding her empire to include one of her favorite things – no, not full lovetanks or deadbeat losers, but BOOZE! Unfortunately all is not working out. The short-lived 'Vicki's Vodka', which she promoted on this season's Real Housewives of Orange County, has been plagued by scandal and lawsuits.
Vicki's business partner, a professional poker player named Robert Williamson III, has sued her not once but twice(!) over allegations that she attempted to defraud him and was not serious about making the brand a success. All the problems originate with Brooks Ayers, it seems, who is also being sued by Robert.
Well Vicki has decided to simply pull the plug on Vicki's Vodka! "This lawsuit arises from the business decision of Ms. Gunvalson and her business partner, Michael Nicholson, an expert in blending and selling distilled spirits, to terminate the Vicki’s Vodka brand,” Vicki's attorney Paul W. Reidl explained Radar Online. Robert is also suing Michael.
I'm sure you've heard that for a hot minute Vicki Gunvalson's business partner, Robert Williamson III, was suing her alleging that she attempted to defraud him of partial ownership of Vicki's Vodka.
It turned out the Real Housewives of Orange County star "gifted" Brooks Ayers 16.67% of her stake of the company and then Brooks proceeded to re-sell that percentage to Robert for $50,000 right out from under Vicki's surgically altered nose!
Long story short, Vicki and Robert worked out their issue, he appeared on last week's episode of RHOC (convenient timing, no?) and dropped the suit against Vicki. But he is still suing Brooks! For what, I don't know? Maybe Brooks can sell him a pair of slightly used veneers. Or some ocean front property in Mississippi.
Brooks is responding to Robert's allegations and finding that Hallmark cards and petty threats don't always make the bad guys go away, but he wants the suit dismissed anyway. He also admits that sure he sold his shares, but it was to help his child Your Honor!
This weekend Vicki Gunvalson got slammed with a lawsuit related to her Vicki's Vodka line. Vicki was accused by her business partner, Robert Williamson III of "gifting" 16.67 % of her share to Brooks Ayers, who then proceeded to sell it back to Robert claiming he was broke.
Robert's suit attests that Vicki and Brooks then conspired together in an attempt to have the business returned to a 50-50 partnership between Robert and Vicki despite him buying Brooks' percentage from him. Conveniently the Real Housewives of Orange County star's social media was also "hacked" that very same day.
Well now that her Facebook is up and running, Vicki is confronting the lawsuit and insisting it is baseless. "My attorney will be filing a response to the frivolous suit within the next day or so," Vicki announced.
"This response will reveal my side of the story and the lack of truth that was told. There will be more details to follow shortly. Thank you for your support. The truth always prevails." We anxiously await.
Like twoseconds after the scandal broke, the Real Housewives of Orange County star's twitter and facebook conveniently disappeared. Well now Vicki is insisting her social media was hacked. A likely story… #WeDontBelieveYou
This Friday Robert Williamson III, a professional poker player, filed a lawsuit for $250,000 alleging that Vicki "breached contract, committed fraud, failed to live up to good faith dealings, misrepresented herself and conspired to unjustly enrich herself and partner Ayers." Brooks is named as a co-defendant in the suit even though we know his broke butt isn't worth a dime!
