In my humble opinion, Meghan Edmonds is way too nice and normal for the insane antics on Real Housewives of Orange County. And I don’t get why she would want to be on this show, especially since these women are all about hogging the spotlight.
The one time when the show should have been about Meghan, it was about everyone else. As per usual, Kelly Dodd went on a rampage against her fellow cast members and everyone forgot they were at a party to celebrate Meghan’s impending pregnancy. I couldn’t imagine that Meghan was at all happy with the shit show that went down and she revealed that I was right.
Well hot damn was that an exciting episode of Real Housewives Of Orange County! Satan is confusing, and so too is Kelly Dodd. My head is still spinning from all the crazy, but I think it may be one of my favorite episodes ever. SO much happened that it was like watching Real Housewives as guest-directed by Quentin Tarantino.
One thing we have definitely learned in our many years observing Housewives in their native environments is that slightly unhinged women do not mix with tables and prostitution whores. Also “mother” and “not a prostitute” are mutually exclusive. No, Kelly didn’t flip a table, but she did flip an entire coven of Housewives and Housewives associates on their heads with expletive-laden, name calling the likes of which Heather Dubrow(who was ironically wearing leopard in a subtle homage to Real Housewives Of New Jersey, I imagine (intentional or ironic!?)) has never heard!
Our favorite reality TV stars cannot get enough of the spotlight during their regularly scheduled time slots, so they take to social media to share even more of their lives with us. And we would not have it any other way. Here’s a roundup of some of our favorite snapshots and selfies from this week. Enjoy.
I am SO over talking about Shannon Beador’scontroversial ’70’s party on Real Housewives of Orange County. It is this season’s story line that seems like it will never die. Don’t get me wrong, it was a wild episode and I was thoroughly entertained, but I’m tired of them all rehashing different versions of the same story over and over again.
Obviously, the main event was Shannon vs. Kelly Dodd, but Vicki Gunvalson also got into it with Shannon‘s husband David Beador. And it all weirdly ended with Vicki leaving a voicemail for Brooks Ayers in the back of a limo. It was such a hot mess and now Vicki is sharing her side of the story – yet again.
Shannon insists she doesn’t know why Kelly doesn’t like her, adding, “I really was nice to her at that boat party. I had tons of conversations with she and her husband so I don’t know.”
Amy asks Shannon if she thinks Vicki Gunvalson got in Kelly‘s ear. “I don’t know,” she says. “It is possible. I don’t know what their agenda is. I didn’t really spend that much time with them [at that point in the season].” As for where Kelly and Shannon stand now, she teases, “It’s a road that takes you up hills and down hills. I will tell you that.”
No matter how you feel about Shannon Beador and Kelly Dodd, you have to admit that the drama at the ’70s party seems very suspicious. I’m not saying that Shannon threw a themed event with the sole intention of exposing Kelly, but I find it very hard to believe Shannon had “no idea” her ratchet friends knew Kelly. Please. Shannon has hated Kelly from the start, so I’m sure she was complaining about her to someone and figured out those two annoying women hated Kelly as well.
I don’t think the whole situation was elaborately planned to discredit Kelly, but at the very least, it definitely seems like Shannon encouraged the gossip and shit stirring. And in a #TotalHousewifeMove, Kelly is determined to prove that.
