“I haven’t turned against Teresa,” Dina assures us, speaking slowly for maximum zen-pact in her post-episode vlog. “We’re 1000 percent fine – off-camera, on-camera. The editing likes to make things look a little more juicy than they actually are.”
“Florida… let me start by reminding you I was there to celebrate being five years cancer free! Did I ever mention that I was diagnosed with breast cancer? Just in case you missed it. We had just had one hell of a scare and I wanted to go to Florida to celebrate,” Amber shares. “Jim wanted to celebrate also, but was not at all happy about my choice of venue, but as a good hubby, he came along.”
Amber took to her blog to walk us through her take on the drama that ensued in Florida. Basically nothing is Amber’s fault and nothing is Jim Marchese‘s fault. And Bobby Ciasulli is arrogant because he didn’t bow down and kiss Jim’s feet, Teresa Aprea is a nasty woman, and Dina Manzo is guilty of setting up a blood bath in Amber’s honor.
“This is a difficult blog for me to write, because it will be a lot of explaining Jim’s perspective as I was outside with Dina and trying to get Bobby to come out of the bathroom,” said Amber. “I can say, I wish that none of it happened and feel that it was a mistake to mix alcohol with friends that have so many unresolved issues. Jim does not think any of these people are my true friends and thought I was being set up plain and simple. And now seeing how Dina told the twins, his hunch was damn accurate.”
In their interview, none of the cast members mention Victoria Gotti specifically and they keep referring to Jim as the one to blame for the affair rumor. Teresa and Rino adamantly deny the affair accusation and snipe, “People do things for money. When you’re a has-been, you do anything to put your name in the spotlight and get on TV.” We’re not sure if Teresa means Victoria or Jim here.
In another massively long-winded missive, Amber lambasts Dina Manzo for being a ish-stirrer and blaming her for the Victoria Gotti rumor. After all, Teresa Giudice shares 50% of the blame. Silly Amber – doesn’t she know Teresa is never, ever, like ever responsible for anything bad?!
First of all, Amber calls Dina out on being faux-happy that Amber and Jim were meeting the group in Florida. “Did anyone catch Dina’s reaction to my call. She did not exactly seem pleased we were coming down or excited that I was in good health. I get the rumor was on her mind, but that was not exactly fair to me.”
“I was so torn on what to do with this info,” blogged Dina. “My first instinct was of course to let the girls know that someone was talking about their mother. If someone was talking about my mom, I would want to know so I could rip their face off. Not very zen, huh? Say all you want about me, but mention my kid or my parents and all bets are off.”
“Who knew this was going to be The Real Housewives of Medical Conditions? I think it’s great that Amber is choosing to share her cancer journey with the world, that Rino shared his colonoscopy adventure, and next week we get to catch up with Jacqueline‘s son Nicolas and see all the progress that he’s made,” said Teresa. “It’s very brave of anyone who’s struggling with a serious issue to use the exposure they have to share their experience with the world and help educate others.”
