Vinny Guadagnino

It’s an all new Jerzday, GTLers! Last night was the season premiere of Jersey Shore which found the gang back at the Shore for Round Three. I have to say, I love the local seasons as compared to Miami and Italy. The drama continues as Mike “The Situation” (or the Saduation) Sorrentino won’t stop with proving true the fact he hooked up with Snooks while she was with Jionni. Without further ado, I’m going to Jersey Shore, b*thches… and I may rip your heads off along the way!

Ciao Florence, s’up Jersey. There’s a montage of the group leaving Italy, although it’s clear they are thoroughly thankful for their experiences abroad. Or not. Fast forward two seconds to a Jersey shuttle ride and the whole cast is riding out to that infamous house that once had an Italian flag spray painted on the garage. What happened to the antics of watching separate housemates hilariously make their way back to the Shore? I guess production costs called for “an altogether now” arrival. Oh, nevermind… they went straight from Italy to Seaside. That’s quite a spring break! One thing hasn’t changed… no one wants to room with creepy old Mike.

Happy Jersday! You know you’re psyched. The GTL-ers are returning to both the TV screens and the shore in the drama-filled fifth season of Jersey Shore!

Oh, it will be a season — of that I am convinced. A season of all the things that made us love them; far from the respectable and classy Italy and back to where they belong roaming the boardwalks of Seaside Heights in search of a drink, a good time and a grenade!

And oh my, are they happy to return to the land of the guidos and gyms and tanning salons. “They didn’t have any fried foods there, no mozzarella sticks or chicken parm,” Sammi complained to The Chicago Sun Times about the cast’s Italian adventure.

“It was so difficult to get my hair straightener to work out there; the electricity stunk. Driving was terrible. We had a stick-shift Fiat. I didn’t drive the whole time … I couldn’t wait to get back home.”

Well, now they are home and they are ready for action. Ready for more fights between Snooki and The Situation, ready for JWoww to be well… wowful, ready for Deana to do something shocking and ready for more tanning sessions than a girl can count. “We hit Jersey hard,” said Pauly D warns.

Of course — there will always be The Situation having situations! “Mike has always been that character — kind of an egomaniac, kind of mischievous, a snake in the grass,” Vinny says of his roommate. “Do I think it’s 100 percent real? No, but that’s the character he has on the show. It’s who he is in that scenario. He’s actually a good kid deep down.”

Watch a clip of the upcoming episode below. It features Vinny and The Situation reuniting with a little sexual chemistry of the dry hump variety. Or something. Only in Jersey, only in Jersey…

Jersey Shore Season 5 premieres tonight at 9/10c on MTV.

Jersday will soon be back for all you Jersey Shore lovers! Also back? Seaside Heights as the Guids return to their roots on the infamous Jersey Shore. <fist pump>! Snooki is calling it “the best time of my life.” I’m calling it ca-ca-ca-caraaazeee! Oh and bloody and boozey and bronzey.

In the fifth season the entire cast returns and things get even more risqué as the sneak peak features a drunken and delushous Snooki taking a pee someplace that’s usually reserved for the family pet. Vinny Guadagnino apparently has enough as he vacates the house. “This is real. This is a reality right here. Vinny’s out of here,” Pauly D declares. The trailer promises many drunken nights, many bar fights, many pranks, many grenades and much ado about everything. Oh, and The Situation is bleeding.

The Situation and Snooki will continue to go at it, and this time Mike is also targeting the pouflette’s then boyfriend Jionni LaValle and promising to disclose a secret. Uh oh! Deena Cortese swears that the cast is more like “brothers and sisters” and the bickering never lasts long. “But you’ll see, we had a lot of fun in Jersey; we had so much fun. We were home, we were comfortable.”

“We’re back in our habitat and I’m ready to tear the speakers off this joint,” The Situation promises. Oh, you know you can’t wait! Check out the sneak peak below!

Jersey Shore premieres Thursday, January 5, at 10 p.m. ET/PT. Get your cocktails ready!

They’re back! Fresh off the cast’s European excursion to Florence, Italy — MTV has announced it will be kicking off the new year with an all new season of Jersey Shore!

Yes, America’s favorite drunken hotmesses housemates will return to Seaside Heights, NJ, when season five of the MTV hit series premieres on Thursday, January 5, 2012 (10/9c).

Back on their home turf and excited to be in their natural habitat, “the cast hits the ground running to get their “G.T.L” regimen back on schedule while also dealing with their evolving group dynamic amidst the tensions and hookup rumors left over from their time in Florence.”

To mark the special occasion, MTV also released a preview clip for the new season which features DJ Pauly D recovering from a tanning accident after burning his face when trying to get his skin tanned. He was trying to correct the paleness he suffered while in Italy. The rest of the cast is also shown as they prepare to hit their favorite club Karma.

As we reported, the cast began filming season 5 immediately following their return from filming season 4 in Italy. They did not get a break which in turn led to some more drama, such as Vinny Guadagnino quitting the show, only to return days later.

The preview clip is below!

TELL US – ARE YOU EXCITED ABOUT THE NEW SEASON OR OVER THE SERIES? THOUGHTS ON THE PREVIEW?

Could it be? Has it been an entire season of Jersey Shore? Are we really saying arrivederci to Florence with our favorite gorilla juiceheads and guidettes? It seems like only yesterday the meatballs were hooking up with one another and Mike was bashing his head into a wall. Ahh, memories. I mean, this was the season that had a bearable, dare I say likeable, Rawn and Sam! That, in itself, is mind boggling.

We rejoin the group at the tail end of their clubbing. At home, Mike continues to talk to himself and practice karate on the walls. Snooki wakes up and proceeds to ignore Mike as he wanders aimlessly around the house having a solo conversation. The rest of the roommates return home from the clerb, with Sam begging Rawn to talk some sense into Mike after his antics earlier in the evening.

The Situation confides in Ronnie that he feels like the villain. Ronnie knows that Mike has been depressed and he wants him to try to mend fences with the housemates. A slightly defensive Mike says he doesn’t care if his roommates don’t like him. He has gotten used to be alone. Sammi commends Rawn for at least trying to talk to Mike.

Last night’s episode of Jersey Shore was a hot mess of Mike hate and meatball madness. Pauly D manages to avoid Deena’s advances for “the sex,” while JWoww and Sam relish in their new found (and slightly surprising, given past seasons) friendship.

We rejoin the group with Snooki on the phone with Jionni discussing her smush session with Vinny. Jionni is pissed and Snooki is fanning her face to dry up her tears and while cocking her pink sequined ball cap to the side like a rapper. Jionni can’t handle her news, but he’s willing to continue talking to her. After they hang up, Vinny asks if Snooks wants to cuddle with him to make her feel better. He’s too funny.

While New Jersey Governor Chris Christie received some backlash weeks ago for blocking a $420,000 tax credit that was intended for MTV hit show Jersey Shore, it turns out he has the full support of the state of Jersey after all!

According to new polls, New Jersey residents not only support Gov. Christie’s decision but they also feel the show is very bad for their state!

“Garden State voters agree overwhelmingly with Gov. Chris Christie’s decision to slam the door on ‘Snooki,’ ‘The Situation’ and the rest of the ‘Jersey Shore’ crew,” said Maurice Carroll, director of the Quinnipiac University Polling Institute which conducted the polls.

An overwhelming nearly 70 percent of voters polled think the show is bad for the state, while 71 percent agree with Christie’s decision to veto the tax credit citing the state should not pay $420,000 for a show that “perpetuates misconceptions about the state and its citizens.” Ouch!

Fortunately for the Jersey Shore gang, they do have an usual fan in former American Idol judge/current American Idol X-Factor judge Simon Cowell! But seriously American Idol and X-Factor are the same show no?

“I thought [Jersey Shore] was genius, absolute genius,” said Simon to MTV this week. “And whether you like the show or not, these kids are suddenly big, big stars. They just make me laugh.” No word yet on whether Simon is laughing at the cast or with them!

Simon goes on to add that Snooki has in fact inspired him on X-Factor. “Yeah, so that was the reason why I came to New Jersey: I wanted to find the next Snooki,” he says. Oh that Simon, always tongue-in-cheek! He is joking right?

And finally, move over Jill Zarin Kelly Bensimon! There is a new “celebrity” cyber-bullying victim!

While bullying and cyber-bullying has become a hot topic and a serious issue in recent times, Vinny Guadagnino is now revealing his sad tale of cyber-bullying at the hands of some of his 2 million twitter followers! And yes he has 2 mil followers on twitter. Apparently Vinny, who chose to put his life on national television, feels negative tweets constitute as “cyber-bullying.”

“I get cyber-bullied every single second of the day!” Vinny tells Life & Style. “Right now, if I go through my Twitter I guarantee that within two seconds I’ll find someone making fun of my friends and family and calling me the devil.”

Vinny goes on to add that being “cyber-bullied” is what encouraged him to join forces with MTV to help bring awareness to National Bullying Prevention month. “I want to get involved because I can relate,” he states. “This is about young people on social media and the different problems they have. I’ve been there, and I’m still there.”

Allrighty. A new episode of the Jersey Shore airs tonight on MTV at 10/9c.

TELL US – JERSEY SHORE RESIDENTS: ARE YOU ASHAMED OF THE JERSEY SHORE? DO YOU THINK SIMON WAS JOKING WITH HIS COMMENTS? IS VINNY A REAL VICTIM OF CYBER-BULLYING?

On last night’s episode of Jersey Shore, the girls and guys take separate mini-vacays. Things are off-again-on-again for Snooki with both her boyfriend Jionni and her biffle JWoww. The Situation stirs the pot, and Pauly D sits back and watches it all like he’s on my couch watching with me. I actually think that would be a blast!

Snooki wakes up discombobulated in Vinny’s bed, and she goes to wake up JWoww at the chipper hour of 7am. Jenni doesn’t know where Snooks slept, but Snooki reveals in her confessional that she would never cheat on Jionni. In fact, she specifically remembers telling him “we’re done” before hopping into Vin’s bed. JWoww reluctantly gets up and fills Nicole in on how she defended her to Mike the previous night.

Mike wanders into the ladies’ room after hearing a lot of yelling. Snooki starts screaming at him. Perhaps the lady protests too much. Snooki and JWoww head out for a breakfast of mimosas, and Mike calls his friend Unit (seriously?) who was diddling Ryder on the night in question. The Situation wants to make sure he didn’t make up the sexcapades in his head. Unit confirms Mike’s version of the story. Over their champagne brunch, Snooki admits to JWoww that she hooked up with Vinny but that they didn’t smush….that she remembers.
