What's better than housewife has beens when it comes to rating gold on Watch What Happens Live? That's right…house-husbands! When two former Real Housewives of Atlanta stars appeared in Andy Cohen's clubhouse, the ladies garnered the talk show's second highest ratings for the year thus far…and no one even had to tug a wig!
We were so excited about Kim Zolciak hanging out in the clubhouse tonight on Watch What Happens Live. We thought maybe she would be announcing a new season of Don't Be Tardy. Then we secretly hoped she was going to announce her return to Real Housewives of Atlanta for next season. And one of us may or may not have thought she was going to announce another pregnancy. Sadly, none of the above happened! But she did look good (and I'm not usually dazzled by blingy shoes, but hers were seriously cute), so there's that.
Kim sat down to chat with Andy, along with former Housewife Sheree Whitfield. Andy started right off by asking if they were glad that they didn't have to intermingle with the likes of Kenya Moore. Sheree says "I don't think she's that bad, I think she's good for the show. I will say it's better to watch the trainwreck than to be part of it."
Andy had to ask about the status of She by Sheree: "I have some jewelry but I also have some T-shirts that are still selling, but right now I'm kind of working on a fitness DVD. I actually just taped it about a week ago. I'm really excited about it. That's always been my plan."
On why she didn't believe Lisa the FIRST time she denied telling Brandi to bring the rag mags along, "This came at a time where the women kept bringing up the tabloids over and over and over again and it was a sore subject with my husband and last year Lisa didn't exactly take my word the first time I told her something. I've never lied to Lisa EVER. Yeah, so I'm being told, and everyone says "Brandi is the truth cannon! She tells the truth! She's so honest!"
Stassi explains her plans for any possible return if there is a season 3 of the show, "I've moved to New York. I've been blogging for other sites and now I've been developing my own. I'm really excited about that. I'm working with different accessory and jewelry brands with styling. And that's where I'm at. I'm not gonna go waitress again. I'm kind of just doing me and doing what makes me happy. "
When she doesn't really answer about returning to the show, Andy says, "I hope we can figure out a way to see you back there somehow".
Is this what we're calling avant-garde these days? Lady Gaga fancies herself to be on the experimental edge of pop culture and pop music (and having been to one of her concerts, I'd say men dressed in condoms and burning statutes crying blood aren't your typical pop fan fare), and now she's pushing the envelope even more.
That's right. Gaga is supposedly featuring the Real Housewives of Beverly Hills in an upcoming video. Perhaps she's more mainstream than she'd like to admit. You know Kyle Richards' is having a field day over this! I can only imagine the title of this song!
After tonight's episode of Real Housewives of Beverly Hills, Brandi Glanville was Andy's guest on Watch What Happens Live. She was initially supposed to be paired up with Denise Richards, but Jenny McCarthy stepped in. We were sort of expecting a dishy episode since Jenny and Brandi are both so outspoken, but it was fairly mild.
Andy kicks things off by showing Brandi a clip of Kenya's slam last night on WWHL. Brandi says, "I agree with her that it was an assholic thing to say. But I still think she needs some..something. The dark dark makeup, it's like really ashy and weird." When Andy says she almost apologized and then took it back, Brandi says "I learned from Vanderpump how to do that".
Andy jumps right in and asks Kenya about the ladies saying that she "rushed" Christopher in the brawl at NeNe's pillow party. "First of all, you can't rush in six inch heels. I stood up very calmly and began to walk across the room. No one rushed anyone. "
Andy says, "NeNe said you were wearing a diapers, by the way". Kenya replied, "Well at least I could fit in a child's diaper and not an adult diaper like some of us."
After calling out Lisa for regretting to her painting party at the last minute, Yolanda feels the need to defend herself after what happened in Andy Cohen's clubhouse last week. She begins, 'First, I wanted to clear up Brandi's jab at me with her tweet while I was on WWHL saying I cancelled dinner plans with her. It surprised me because it would have been justified if I had been a hypocrite and cancelled plans with her and instead taken a business meeting that was more important — but that’s absolutely not what happened! I cancelled because I was dealing with my crying child across the country in NY who was just diagnosed with a disease we were trying to figure out. This is something I shared with B in good faith — but not something I wanted to share with all of you because that’s my daughter’s privacy. But since Brandi brought it up on national TV, I feel I have to clarify the situation."
