Wendy Williams always has a lot to say, but it's rarely that anyone has the balls to say something back to her! And then there is Evelyn Lozada!
Wendy made Evelyn's birth announcement of son Carl Leo (born on Saturday) one of her "Hot Topics" and basically called Evelyn out on being a gold digger.
“Evelyn gave birth to a cash register, I mean, a baby boy, with her fiancé, the $142 million Carl Crawford. I didn’t mean to make that cash register joke, but you see why it’s easy to be said. Evelyn girl, congratulations,“ Wendy announced during the segment.
You know who needs to stop talking for a little bit? Wendy Williams, In fact, I feel kind of badly talking about her and giving her more attention, but her latest shenanigans need to be addressed. Domestic violence knows no boundaries, be it social, economic, or age, and we're all often guilty of blaming the victim…or doubting their recollection of events. I'm not saying that every woman who has claimed to be abused actually was, but on the flip side, do I want to be the one who makes that call? No. If someone's life is so sad that they feel the need to make false accusations, they don't need my judgment.
That said, just because someone is a person we like to snark on or seems generally horrible to be around, doesn't mean that they deserve to have someone put their hands on them. We all love to hate the often violent Evelyn Lozada, but her attitude doesn't warrant her ex-husband's behavior towards her any more than we excuse her behavior towards past co-stars. Sorry, that was a lot to get off my chest, but with the recent news of Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star Camille Grammer suffering abuse at the hand of her boyfriend Dimitri Charalambopoulos, Wendy Williams has felt the need to put in her two cents…and to her, Camille's story sounds "sketchy." Geez.
Following a season of lackluster ratings, ridiculously transparent producer and editing manipulation, and a déjà vu storyline, Wendy challenged Andy about making changes to the formerly successful show.
Wendy straight up called out this season as "not the best." Andy agreed and admitted, "We need to make some adjustments." When Wendy suggested "new Housewives" and "no more Manzos" or Wakiles, Andy said, "alright, alright" but he seemed off-put and annoyed. I think he's also realizing this show is doomed without MAJOR shakeups!
You know, of all of the reality stars in all of the franchises in the far-reaching corners of Bravo Land, the one I'd be the most frightened to feud with is Real Housewives of Atlanta'sNeNe Leakes. Not only does she have a sharp tongue, she's a legit heavy hitter after making the jump from Bravolebrity to bona fide television actress. Sure, The New Normal has been canceled, but, you know what, so was a gem known as Malibu Country.
That said, Wendy Williams apparently didn't get the memo–and she's supposedly friends (albeit maybe former) with the Neenster! After whisperings of discord between the ladies, Wendy is trying to set the record straight, saying that rumors of tension between the two are totally exaggerated.
K Popstarz is weighing in on the brash Ms. William's opinion on VH1's totally scripted hit…and it's not a nice one! Wendy allegedly said, "First of all Rasheeda, you and Kirk are ratchet for drumming up this story line, right here. Okay? Cuz you know what you're doing, cuz Stevie and my Puerto Rican princess, Joseline [Hernandez], were the popular couple. And you and your husband, or whatever you wanna call that animal, you all did this as a plot to get popular on that show. It's a shame what people will do to stay on this reality tv."
Comparing the show to Keeping up with the Kardashians, Wendy continued, "This is worse than the Kardashians. This is got to be the most ratchet [of] all reality shows on tv. It is disgusting but I cannot stop watching. Let me just say this. None of you all call, I don't want you to come on the show. It's just that I do watch, but you're not suitable guest(s) for the show, except for you my Puerto Rican princess Joseline."
