Whitney Houston

Against the wishes of her family, Whitney Houston’s daughter, Bobbi Kristina Brown, is reportedly moments away from signing a reality show deal.

As of now, it’s just a verbal agreement, but it’s expected that Bobbi will sign on for a new reality show that will follow her life as she adjusts to the loss of her mom and will focus on her controversial relationship with “brother” Nick Gordon.  And her family is not happy about it.

Bobbi Kristina’s relatives worry that it may turn into another train wreck like Whitney’s hot-mess-of-a-show back in 2005, “Being Bobby Brown”.  Bobbi is reportedly going through her own battle with drugs and alcohol and her family is worried about exposing that for the world to see.

A source tells Radar Online: “This show is being done against her family’s advice.”  But she’s determined to show the world that she’s not going to fall victim to the same lifestyle as her mom.

A source said that during a meeting she told the network execs: “‘I will show the world I am NOT my mother and will NOT walk in her shoes down her path,’ then seconds later would mutter, ‘My mother was just normal, completely normal, someone who did normal things. She just listened to all the wrong people–and did the wrong things.’”

Bobbi is reportedly telling friends that she wants to do the show to see something positive come out of the tragic loss of her mom.   “Something good might as well come out of all this bad stuff.”

I’m curious to see which network is going to take this on.  If she truly is struggling with an addiction, it could be a disaster.  People will tune in out of morbid curiosity, of course, but will they stay tuning in if she’s a mess?

TELL US – ARE YOU CURIOUS TO SEE MORE ABOUT BOBBI KRISTINA’S LIFE BEHIND-THE-SCENES? WOULD YOU WATCH A REALITY SHOW FOCUSED ON HER? WHAT DO YOU THINK THEY SHOULD CALL IT?

The three finalists performed one more dance during the finale of Dancing with the Stars. At the end of the night, entertainer Donny Osmond and partner Kym Johnson were crowned winners of season nine. “I did it!” Osmond exclaimed, promptly rushing to the audience to find his wife, Debbie, whom he carried across the stage.

Donny beat out the two other finalist celebrities — singer Mya, 30, who had consistently gotten high marks from the judges for her technical skills, and reality show star Kelly Osbourne, 25, who came in third place.

“I’m just so happy to have made it to the finals,” Mya said after the loss. Kelly was also gracious, thanking the audience and saying she had “grown so much” during the show.

During the result show on Tuesday, the show welcomed back all the celebrities from season 9. Whitney Houston also performed yesterday night. At age 51, Donny becomes the oldest winner ever to win the mirrored-ball trophy. He also beat his sister Marie Osmond, who came in third when she competed on the ABC show back in 2007.

Tell Us: Did Donny deserve to win over Mya?

Whitney Houston will appear on Dancing with the Stars as a performer on next week’s finale.

A rep for ABC confirms to Usmagazine that Whitney, 46, will sing on the Nov. 24 finale.  Whitney recently released her seventh album, I Turn To You (and her first in seven years), which debuted at the top of the Billboard 200 back in September, selling 305,000 copies in its first week.

The semifinals for the dance competition got underway Monday night with Joanna Krupa, Mya, Kelly Osbourne,  and Donny Osmond in the final four.

The Real Housewives of Atlanta’s Kandi Burruss proves to us that miracles can happen as she turned fellow castmate, Kim Zolciak’s song into a dance hit. The Grammy award-winning songwriter who has written hit songs for popular acts such as TLC and Nsync helped write and produce Kim’s new hit – “Tardy For The Party.”

Despite earlier reports that came out this week claiming Kim’s song had been yanked off Itunes due to her non payment to producer Don Vitto, Kim has come out denying the entire story, and clarifying her song is still available on Itunes. A quick check on Itunes proves the song is still indeed available, leading us to believe the entire “lawsuit” saga was nothing but a big publicity stunt.

So the question of the moment is -

Tell Us: You be the judge – Is “Tardy for the party” a hit or miss? What are your thoughts on the past episode of the Atlanta Housewives? Is Nene’s Ego Out of Control?
