Dina Manzo was a guest on Watch What Happens Live tonight after part 1 of the lost footage episode of The Real Housewives of New Jersey. It was fairly uneventful but Andy did shed a little light on what we can expect to hear from Dina at the reunion – like addressing her family issues once and for all.
Andy jumped right in, “You were more verbal about your family situation at the jersey reunion than I’ve heard you be – ever.” Dina responded, “Because I’ve kept my mouth shut all these years and that didn’t help, so I thought maybe if I talk this will go away.”
Andy tried to ask about her relationship with Caroline because it seems to Andy like that Dina sounded hopeful that it could be mended. Dina laughs, “Do you ask Caroline these questions when she’s on?” He confirms, “I do!” He added that Dina made it seem at the reunion like there’s a resolution with Caroline in the future. Dina replies, “Yeah, she’s my sister.”
When a caller asked for Tamar‘s opinion on Kenya‘s music, she shared, “She sings? No shade! I think I heard [Gone with the Wind Fabulous] in the club one time. I didn’t know it was a serious record. No shade. Well, I can’t lie, she’s not my favorite. Something about the thirst of it all. She’s a pretty girl. It’s just, like, the pageant thing kind of reeks.” Tamar admitted that NeNe Leakes is her girl.
I’m sure I wasn’t the only one watching the Real Housewives of Atlanta star’s social media accounts for a reaction. And Kenya delivered!
Andy commented and asked Teresa Aprea if she felt bad about her scene with the “clink clink” karma diss, saying she took a lot of heat over it on Twitter for “kicking”Teresa Giudice when she’s down. Teresa A says she did feel bad and that the two of them are okay at the moment. “I did apologize. It came from a place of anger. It was mean, it was a little harsh. So, I did apologize and I did address the situation.” Teresa G sees the clip for the first time at the reunion and Teresa Aprea admits that Tre was pissed.
We start off taking a stroll down memory lane with clips of Slade from when he started in season one of the show. And then Andy shared a hilarious montage of clips of Tamra Barney (now Judge) slamming Gretchen.
Gretchen says “Tamra Barney has lost all credibility with everyone, including the viewers. She’s the biggest lying, manipulating, conniving, narcissistic sociopath. And I say she’s a sociopath because sociopaths don’t even realize that they do anything wrong. All they do is blame everyone else for their mistakes and that’s all she continues to do and the viewers saw it last season.”
During a WWHL interview earlier this week Teresa Giudice told Andy Cohen that she didn’t “fully understand” her guilty plea meant she was admitting guilt to federal fraud charges. Despite her claim, prosecutors for the US Attorney’s office say did understand, but as NeNe Leakes points out they don’t really know how Teresa operates…
The prosecutor’s office, however, insists that Teresa was very aware of what she was doing when she signed that plea. They do understand that the very basis of Teresa’s defense was that she signs her name to things she doesn’t read, right? Like, duh – who has time to read when you could shop! Or bedazzle something! Or flip tables!
Andy starts right off with Teresa’s claims in court that the show is fake. “In court papers you claim that The Real Housewives of New Jersey is scripted. ‘It is little more than a work of fiction engineered by Bravo TV through scripted lines and clever editing.’ What did you mean by that?” Teresa responds, “Meaning that there are editors on the show and our producers”, Andy cuts her off “were you told to flip the table?” Teresa says “no flipping the table I did.” Andy asks if she was told to fight with Melissa or Joe Gorga. “My family coming on the show, you know Andy, I didn’t know they were coming on the show.” Andy says “you didn’t want them on the show,” Teresa jumps in “not that I didn’t want them on the show, they never told me they were coming on the show.” Andy tries to end it with “we’ve had this discussion many times, ya ya ya.” Teresa says “When my family came on, I didn’t like the way I was portrayed. I was the villain, I was this mean person. People would come up to me and they’re like ‘oh my God you’re so nice’ and I’m like ‘what do you mean?’ and they’re like ‘you come off so mean on the show.”
