Serious question…did any of you watch the X Factor? I kept up with some of gossip, but I prefer The Voice. It seems that the talent show just can't seem to get it together as far as judges are concerned (see you later, Britney Spears!), and now there are rumors that one of the hosts is on the chopping block.
Since brief stint on the show, Khloe Kardashian has been criticized for being awkward and orchestrating nip slips. There was even a rumor that was being paid by The Voice to do such a horrible job. That's bad! Of course, I highly doubt that Khloe was getting cash for her craptastic hosting (it would almost be better if she were…), but the poor girl has no experience other than ridiculous reality shows. Now, sources are alleging that she may not be back next season.
X Factor season two winner Tate Stevens has officially signed a record deal.
Tate beat out Carly Rose Sonenclar, one of Britney's Teens, for the $5 million prize after dominating the leaderboard most of the season. Following his X Factor win, Tate said of his first album, "It's gonna be country, and it's gonna be a lot of fun. I'm excited."
Give me a break. The X Factor needs to quietly into that good night. Is anyone still watching? If you are, will you still be watching if the Kardashians over take the show? L.A. Reid has already thrown in the towel once this season draws to a close, and rumors abound that Britney Spears will be getting fired for causing viewers to fall asleep while she's talking. It's clearly run its course.
Of course, Simon Cowell isn't willing to face facts. Instead, he's trying to salvage the American version of the talent show with an influx of new judges. Unfortunately for Simon, he's dipping into a pool of celebrities who won't likely take the bait. Oh wait, he wants Kim Kardashian. She'll do it…and she know a lot about music, right?
Sit back and relax. Let's delve into the X Factor's latest drama and then segue into some additional Kim K. drama. Is she preggers? Has she pressured brother Rob to go under the knife? These, my friends, are burning questions!
Call me crazy, but I don't think this feud between LeAnn Rimes and Real Housewives of Beverly Hills'Brandi Glanville is going to end any time soon. I know things were looking up about a year or so ago, but then LeAnn decided that Twitter was her new reality and started trying to turn her followers against an equally Twitter-obsessed Brandi. Recently, LeAnn sought treatment for her Twitter addiction, cried crocodile tears during an exclusive television interview about how she didn't have a normal childhood and the term "home wrecker" is so clichè and hurtful. Brandi, meanwhile, is promoting her new book and starring on a hit Bravo show.
While LeAnn claims she just wants a settled, drama-free life with Eddie Cibrian and her "bonus children," she can't seem to keep her new husband's former wife's name out of her mouth. Of course, talking about Brandi may be better than singing on the X Factor. Ba-doom ching! I kid, I kid. I think it was very admirable of LeAnn to do everything in her power to make sure that little girl looked so amazing in comparison…not that she needed any help.
LeAnn is now claiming to be flattered that Brandi is so caught up in her life. Um, what? She's also conveniently promoting her new song "Borrowed" which is a blatant dig at her husband's ex while painting a picture of her affair with Eddie. It's not exactly Christmas music. You just can't make up this stuff!
Also in attendance last night was LeAnn Rimes. She took some time off from singing about lusting after another woman's husband long enough to ruin what would've been a perfect performance by Carly RoseSoneclar. LeAnn used to have an amazing voice, but this was a trainwreck!

TELL US – WHO WINS WORST DRESSED? WHAT DID YOU THINK OF LEANN'S PERFORMANCE?
Beatrice Miller, one of my favorite contestants, seems to be one of the few on The X Factor with any freaking sense, and she isn't afraid to speak her mind. (unrelated but interesting sidenote: she's the voice of Molly in Toy Story 3) Did I mention that she's only 13 years old? Love this girl! Beatrice had a lot to say after this week's disastrous "divas" show.
Ouch. Things are not looking good for this season'sX Factor and all signs are pointing to Khloe Kardashian as the reason. It's no secret that pretty much everyone in the world is so sick of this overexposed family, but I would have thought this hosting gig would perhaps legitimize Khloe since it's not actually a mind numbing E! reality show that follows around her family as they get married do nothing…vapidly.
It seems that many X Factor viewers have expressed their disdain for Khloe getting the gig, and ratings have been Plummeting (yes, it's so bad I needed a capital P) since she joined the show. I know what you're thinking…she's only been on the two live episodes thus far. That's what makes it even worse!
Simon Cowell is being blamed for bamboozling Fox into thinking that Khole would be a fan favorite who would boost ratings. Little did he know that instead she would bring a boycott.
As if Khloe Kardashian having to share the stage with sister Kim's ex-husband Damon Thomas wasn't enough (I'm still crossing my fingers they'll end up biffles–how hilarious would that be?), now we have a list of the X Factor's contestants' house rules. Admittedly, while I love a singing competition, much of my viewing of them comes from YouTube clips. You all have to remember Susan Boyle's Britain's Got Talent audition, right? I get teary just thinking about it. Simon Cowell, the hardazz, chewing on his pen while falling in love? Priceless!
That said, I've been lukewarm on the X Factor thus far this season. I was actually glad that Britney Spears didn't turn into the train wreck that seemed to be expected of her, and after getting Demi Lovato's newest song stuck in my head 24/7 and knowing her struggles, I like her as well. Who is there for me to snark on if I like everyone involved? Thankfully, knowing what the contestants are and aren't allowed to do, I have a new outlet, and it's awesome. Let's face it, the rules I'm about to share with you are less about compliance and more about human decency and common sense. Thankfully, peeps who are trying to make their name on reality television have neither!
