Kathryn admitted she handled the situation badly, adding, “Hindsight is 20/20, and watching it now, I wish I would have done things differently.”
“When I sat down to the table with Erika, we started talking casually, as this has been the case since we met. When I had the ladies to my home in San Diego, I shared with them the loss of my father. I noticed everyone was so thoughtful and sensitive to it. Erika, while sitting at the table, shared with Kyle and LVP what had transpired while they had stepped out. Her conveyance of the story to them was cold and matter-of-fact,” said Kathryn. “When Erika later spoke of it in her interview she was sweet, sensitive and seemingly caring. I like that Erika.”
Kyle shares her annoyance at Yolanda for calling out her side conversation with Lisa Vanderpump while they were at lunch. “I was surprised but happy that Yolanda showed up for lunch. We hadn’t heard from her since we were all at Erika’s when she and Rinna had gotten into their argument. Lisa and I both were a little perplexed by their abrupt “hug it out” and wondered what was going on with the situation. While this conversation that started between Lisa and me was more of a side conversation (going on while three other conversations were happening), we of course know that nothing we say in this arena is “private” or a “secret.” We will all see this eventually.”
Eileen Davidson may be experiencing the sophomore slump as a year two housewife; or maybe she’s just exhausted from pretending to care about LymeGate. But whatever her reasons, she’s been a bit irritated as of late, and came at the queen last night with guns blazing! In her blog, the Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star questions Lisa Vanderpump’s friendship, along with Kathryn Edwards’ motives in spilling all of Erika Girardi’s dirt virtually 24 hours after receiving it! Seems like Eileen thinks everyone has a lot of ‘splainin to do. (Can we start with Yolanda Hadid? Pretty, pretty please!)
Concerning Yolanda’s passive-aggressive ‘bi-polar’ comment, Eileen reflects, “Originally, I brought up Yolanda’s bi-polar comment (with Yolanda’s blessing, by the way) in an attempt to explain to Lisa [Rinna] how Yolanda still felt about everything. At lunch, it took on a different connotation. Kyle [Richards] is right: ‘Putting it out there is putting it out there.’ By Yolanda saying ‘she has too much class’ to accuse Lisa R. of being bi-polar, she’s putting it out to the universe just as much as Lisa R. did about the Munchausen’s. After all of this, maybe now we can just call it a draw?”
I do not like my Lisa Vanderpump fighting with my Eileen Davidson. Unequivocally my two favorite Housewives, I demand they become friends. Eileen is my Spirit Housewife, but Lisa is the Top Seat in my Fantasy Housewife League. I don’t have time for all the over-analyzing required of choosing sides. I blame Erika Jayne-Giradi and by default Yolanda for this. Erika had an extremely brief moment in the sun, didn’t she?
Something strange is up over in Bravoland this week. The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills cast usually deliver their blogs on time and they’re all posted almost immediately following the episode on Tuesday nights. Unlike the Real Housewives of Atlanta, whose blogs trickle in slooowwwwly, if at all. When it comes to Atlanta, NeNe Leakes would often take to her personal website to blast off about the episode, without having to worry about any editing by anyone. It seems Yolanda Fosteris taking a page from NeNe’s book this week. Yolanda created a website for the sole reason of sharing her blog on her own.
She started off apologizing for not writing a blog last week as she accompanied her daughters in NYC for Fashion Week. Yolanda started her new blog/website saying that having to watch last night’s episode “was uneasy to say the least. Not sure a word factory could produce the right ones to describe it because there are so many perceptions and sides to this story.”
“Before I start with this week I would like to address the conversation back at my ‘BBQ’ with Lisa Vanderpump at the table,” says Kyle. “Unless a parent brings up their children themselves, children are ALWAYS off limits. Yolanda had told Erika and me ON camera that Bella and Anwar have Lyme disease. Obviously it is not a secret if you tell people on camera.”
Our favorite reality TV stars cannot get enough of the spotlight during their regularly scheduled time slots, so they take to social media to share even more of their lives with us. And we would not have it any other way. Here’s a roundup of some of our favorite snapshots and selfies from this week. Enjoy.
Eileen begins her blog reviewing the lunch hosted byKathryn Edwards, which took a wrong turn after the ghost of Kim Richards came to haunt the table. “I don’t think anyone expected lunch over at Kathryn’s house to be so emotional. Although, it seems that whenever Kim’s name is brought up, lots of buttons get pushed. When Kathryn broke down while divulging the details of her father’s suicide, I was heartbroken. She has been affected by a loved one’s addiction in the worst way imaginable…It was brave of her to be that vulnerable, and I’m honored she felt comfortable enough to bare her soul and cry.”
