Michael Strahan is officially headed to reality TV. Well, kinda. After weeks of speculation, it was finally announced this morning that he is joining Kelly Ripa as her new permanent co-host! Live with Kelly & Michael here we come!
"Before I bring him out, I just want to take a minute, sincerely from the bottom of my heart, to thank all of you," Kelly announced. "You stood by us . . You're the best audience. I'm not kidding. I love you guys. I really appreciate all of your input during our co-host search."
As Michael began walking onto the stage, Kelly cheered: "It's time for a new era of our show to begin."

"I'm speechless. I am so happy to be here," Michael said. "You know how they say it's a dream come true? I truly can't say this, because I didn't know I could dream this."
"I adore you," Michael said to his new co-star giving her a friendly kiss. "I am so happy to be here with you and to be a part of this."
The former NFL player is currently engaged to Hollywood Exes star Nicole Murphy, who says she loves doing the show and hopes to return for a second season. It should be interesting to see if Nicole – who has been engaged to Michael for five years – will relocate to NYC for her man's career. The couple just purchased a new home in LA together.
Perhaps Nicole is about to have something else in common with Sheree Fletcher!
