With former beauty queen and actress Joyce Giraud all but confirmed for the upcoming season, there are whispers of discord and envy radiating from the group…even from Brandi Glanville! That's disappointing. She should remember how hard it was to be the new girl!

According to Radar Online, the ladies aren't welcoming 1998's second runner up Miss Universe with open arms. An insider reveals that Joyce “isn’t getting a warm reception from the housewives. They are all green with jealousy because Joyce is absolutely stunning. She has it all, looks, brains and a loving family."
The source adds, "Brandi Glanville is used to being the young, hot housewife and having all of the attention from the men, and Joyce is a threat. Brandi isn’t happy that she is going to be upstaged by Joyce."
If that isn't ridiculous enough, even Kim is being super passive aggressive regarding her new co-star. The source continues, "Kim Richards doesn’t understand what all the fuss is about concerning Joyce, and doesn’t think Joyce is anything special in the looks department.”
A friend of the new cast member recently told the site, “Joyce is a straight shooter, so it will be very interesting to see how the rest of the cast reacts to her.”
The Bravo insider explains that the shows producers pursued Joyce “with a vengeance because they really wanted to mix it up for the fourth season. Joyce has won several major beauty pageants, and none of the others come close to her in the looks department," adding, “It was a very calculating and provocative maneuver to cast Joyce. Producers are expecting to really mix it up with Joyce.”
If that isn't enough to make the Richards sisters seethe, at thirty-eight Joyce will be the youngest member of the RHOBH crew!
