Because she gets along with everyone (How?! Why?!) Kandi Burruss is used to taking a neutral stance to the drama on Real Housewives Of Atlanta. Weighing in on her friends Porsha Williams and Cynthia Bailey getting into it during last week’s episode, Kandi explains Cynthia’s shade-laden outburst as her being defensive over people calling her a follower.
Kandi was shocked that Cynthia and Porsha exploded on each other, but seems to feel it was over season’s worth of pent up frustration from Cynthia, which caused her to snap.

“Cynthia is a sweet person, but I think people have called her a follower and have taken her kindness for weakness for so long that she just wants to let everybody know that she’s not weak,” says Kandi.
“Therefore every time she feels the slightest bit of disrespect, she goes overboard trying to put that person in check. Now she comes off as this mean girl. It’s like she can’t win for losing — if she’s too nice, she’s weak, and if she’s too aggressive, she’s a bitch.”
Apparently Cynthia is still reeling over having her life destroyed by NeNe Leakes who just left her in the dust to go appear on Broadway and ish! Loser.
In other news, Kandi weighs in on Todd’s daughter Kaela moving in with them and admits it was an adjustment – mainly for her daughter Riley. “Riley is an only child, so she is used to all the attention,” explains Kandi. “But it didn’t take long for them to build a good relationship.”
Tonight is brand new episode of RHOA. Phaedra Parks continues to deal with Apollo’s bitterness towards her as he accuses her of having an affair – and tells Peter Thomas all the so-called gory details. Meanwhile Kandi and Kenya Moore butt heads over the truth about the Apollo situation – and NeNe reveals there just might be even more to the story!
