The Shahs of Sunset cast is known for their hard-partying ways. This past season, the cast took a trip to Vegas to celebrate Mercedes “MJ” Javid’s bachelorette weekend. After a wild night at the club, Shervin Roohparvar and Mike Shouhed maybe didn’t make it back to their hotel room that night.
Mike, who was dating Morgan at the time, claimed he didn’t hook up with another woman. Yeah right. Shervin, who is single, also possibly hooked up with a girl he met that night. No drama happened for him though. However, Shervin recently met up with another random girl in Vegas, and this time things did not go well.
In an article from TMZ, Shervin is suing a woman who alleged “he tried to slip her a date rape drug” for extortion. They met up in Vegas this past December, “after the two connected on social media.” I know online dating is commonplace, but you never know who are you are actually going to meet after you swipe right.
According to Shervin, he and the woman, “Met at his hotel, had a drink and chatted before he told her he had to get ready for a business engagement. He claims the woman, without warning, started shouting obscenities — accusing him of slipping her a drug — and bolted from the room.”
If that is true, it’s extremely scary. I can’t imagine what Shervin was thinking during that ordeal. I’m curious though as to what “room” he is referring to. Did this happened inside his hotel room, or did this happen in a public area within the hotel where there could be potential witnesses?

In the lawsuit, the woman allegedly, “Told cops he’d drugged her, but cops took no action against him.” A month after the incident, “Shervin says he got a letter from her agent threatening to rat him out to production companies about the incidents unless he forked over $350k.” Well, that sounds like extortion to me.
For now, the information provided from the lawsuit seems to favor Shervin’s side of the story. However, her accusation should be taken very seriously, and there needs to be a thorough investigation to find out the truth. It will be interesting to see what the outcome of this lawsuit will be, and if producers decide to make this a storyline for the upcoming season.
