Watch What Happens Live With Andy Cohen - Season 17

Watch What Happens Live Will Resume Filming In The Clubhouse; Andy Cohen “Cannot Wait To Come Home”

Bravo’s national treasure, Andy Cohen, has been filming episodes of Watch What Happens Live from home because of the coronavirus pandemic. Unfortunately, in March Andy announced that he tested positive for Covid-19.

Andy’s diagnosis meant that he had to stay separated from his adorable son, Benjamin Allen Cohen. Ben was born via surrogate on February 4, 2019.

While Andy recuperated, thankfully both Ben and his nanny tested negative. Andy watched Ben on the nanny cam because he couldn’t have any contact with his son. That must have been so hard.

Andy announced on Instagram that he was finally reunited with Ben on March 31. I loved it when Ben would pop up during episodes of WWHL. Once summer hit, we were treated to beach-vibe Andy as he filmed in the Hamptons. I must admit that I really love the episodes that were shot from Andy’s homes.

According to Page Six, Andy will soon be back in the Bravo clubhouse. Beginning on Sunday, October 11, Watch What Happens Live will return to filming at the studio.

On October 6, Andy said in a press release, “We feel so fortunate to have kept the show going remotely, but there’s no place like our clubhouse. I cannot wait to come home to my tchotchkes and elbow my crew.”

But Andy’s guests won’t be joining him in the clubhouse. WWHL guests will be interviewed by video chat.

Mariah Carey was Andy’s final guest for his at-home show on October 8. I guess he wanted to go out with a bang!

On October 7, Andy presented the hilarious Golden Robe Awards, which celebrated the best, and the very worst, of WWHL @Home. Bravo’s The Daily Dish reported that Andy’s son had his own category.

Andy stated, “For those of you that think that the year 2020 wasn’t all that cute, I submit exhibit B, which stands for Ben Cohen! And his cameos on our at-home shows this year.”

Ben was nominated three times. The first nominee was Ben saying “Hi” to Amy Schumer’s baby, Gene. Then Ben was nominated for showing Stephen Colbert where his head was. The final nominated appearance was Ben meeting Anderson Cooper’s baby son, Wyatt. I think that Ben and Wyatt are going to be pals just like their famous dads. Don’t worry-Ben won his Golden Robes category in a tie.
