I’m starting to think maybe Denise Richards doesn’t have the best taste in men. Don’t get me wrong, I love her, I really do. But after seeing her current husband, Aaron Phypers bonkers lecture on the latest episode of Real Housewives of Beverly Hills, I’m starting to really wonder. In case you missed it, Aaron gave a very questionable speech on atoms and cancer at Kyle Richards‘ dinner party. As if that wasn’t strange enough, he then said people were following them as Denise tried (unsuccessfully) to shush him for their “safety”. Oof. If you haven’t watched, I highly recommend so you know what you’re dealing with this season. At the very least, read the recap.
But it’s not just Aaron that is out there. Remember Denise’s ex is none other than Charlie Sheen. And her ongoing drama with him was featured on the first episode of RHOBH this season. While out for drinks before Kyle’s fashion show, Teddi Mellencamp decided to alert Denise to something she saw in the press. That something in question was Charlie saying he couldn’t afford to pay for child support, despite Denise’s instance that he doesn’t anyway. The women, including Erika Jayne, tried in vain to convince Denise to take this to court. But despite Teddi telling Denise that Charlie said she was “behaving like a coward”, Denise wouldn’t budge. According to Denise, “I’ve been called worse by him. Actually, that’s tame.” I love how unflappable Denise is.
Joe Giudice is one busy man. Ever since being deported to his native country of Italy, he has stayed in the news. I’m hearing way more about him now that when he was just living here as Mr. Teresa Giudice. He’s jetted off to Mexico to party with some mystery ladies. He is all up in Teresa’s Instagram comments, complimenting her on her boobs. Joe even weighed in on Italy’s response to the coronavirus pandemic, calling it “ridiculous”. He later issued a mia culpa and cooked food for those who were in isolation.
But now that Juicy has lost his last deportation appeal to come back to the U.S., he’s gotta figure out what to do from here. One of those things includes a podcast. Yes, you heard that correctly. Juicy, who has never been much of a talker, is starting his own podcast. Lucky for us, that’s not all he has up his sleeve.
As far as we know, Tamra Judge isn’t come back to Real Housewives of Orange County. That hasn’t stopped her from keeping herself in the limelight as of late. She’s come out swinging against former cast mate, Shannon Beador after she made up with Kelly Dodd. Then Tamra confirmed she is no longer friends with Shannon after Shannon ignored her phone calls. Lol on that one. I don’t blame Shannon at all after seeing last season. Tamra also moved AGAIN, this time ditching the $2M Coto de Caza property she was showing off on the show. Remember her bragging about that country club and golf course? She can kiss that goodbye now that she’s headed back to a property that was a significant downgrade in price.
Aside from keeping the gossip sites alive and well, Tamra is also busy with her side hustles. We know very little about her budding (pun intended) CBD business venture, Vena. While there is still have a website, we haven’t heard anything else about Vena since she brought it up on the show. Shocker, right? Tamra also recently said on an Instagram “Ask Me Anything” that she was interested in opening a home store. We’ve all seen her collection of Mackenzie-Childs kitchenware and can find that without Tamra’s help, thanks. But Tamra’s bread and butter for the longest has been CUT Fitness, a gym she opened with husband, Eddie Judge back in 2013. We saw plenty of the gym when Tamra opened it and many a scene on RHOC was filmed there. Now there are some rumors that this is the end of CUT Fitness.
The Denise Richards drama continues to dominate Real Housewives of Beverly Hills. It seems like every day, another cast mate is coming out against her. I wonder if that has anything to do with Denise being a stand out fan favorite on her first season of the show. Either way, we are all well aware that Denise is going to be a key figure in this season’s story line. The women all seem fixated on whether or not she had an affair with Brandi Glanville. This is something Denise has denied over and over. Quite frankly, I don’t know why the women care so much. What goes on in Denise’s marriage and private life is her business. But I guess something had to happen this season so here we are.
Another major point of contention is that Denise refuses to talk about her issues on camera. We have seen the infamous trailer, where Denise shouts “Bravo” multiple times in an effort to stop filming. The other women of RHOBH, despite hiding their own skeletons, seem to take major issue with this one. But given how many lawsuits they’ve been hiding on their own, is it really fair?
Sutton Stracke has made quite the splash on Real Housewives of Beverly Hills. We are only three episodes in and she has already proved to be someone worth talking about. Good or bad. So what have we learned about Sutton so far? As Lisa Rinna has told us (many times now), Sutton is rich rich. We get it, Rinna. Sutton likes couture clothing and will point that out to anyone. She is also big into manners, which became crystal clear in the last episode. Sutton practically threw a hissy fit over Kyle Richards not using place cards at her dinner party. Can you imagine!? But for someone so hellbent on proper manners, Sutton didn’t seem to mind telling Teddi Mellencamp to her face that she thought she would be boring. And then scoffed at Teddi being pregnant. As if someone who is pregnant could not be interesting. I know what you guys are going to say, Teddi is not, in fact, interesting. Ok, so Sutton might have a point, but it wasn’t a very polite one. Especially when it comes to trying to enjoy the company of new friends.
So it’s pretty obvious that Sutton is maybe not going to be a fan favorite. Is her bristling attitude why she was downgraded to a friend of instead of a full time cast member like we were all led to believe? Not sure. Sutton claims it’s because she didn’t show as much of her life as the producers would have liked but I’m not buying it. But with all the drama she’s bringing, it’s understandable that she’s ruffling a lot of feathers in Beverly Hills. Oh but not just Beverly Hills. Sutton has developed quite the reputation among housewives on the east coast too.
Vanderump Rules’ stars Stassi Schroeder and Beau Clark have really kicked their relationship up a few notches. While we already knew they were engaged, we finally got to see it play out on the latest episode of VPR. It wasn’t my personal style, but it was cute and seemed to suit the couple and their dynamic well. That sentiment goes for a lot of their unconventional dynamic. This includes the recent dust up over a picture of Stassi and Beau hugging Jax Taylor at their surprise engagement party. It’s the mature thing to do, but I’m not sure how Stassi is friends with Jax after the way he treated her. But I digress.
Aside from all that, the Stassi and Beau have been happily planning their wedding. Unfortunately, those plans may or may not happen due to the coronavirus outbreak. They are scheduled to wed in Italy in October of this year and there is still a good possibility it will be cancelled. Cast mate Lala Kent already had to do the same for her April nuptials to fiance Randall Emmett. Even the VPR reunion has been affected by quarantine, being postponed until further notice. Stassi and Beau found a bright side to quarantine.
Looks like there is already big trouble brewing on Real Housewives of Beverly Hills. We have all seen the trailer, full of shade and drama. There’s the whole Denise Richards and Brandi Glanville storyline that prompts Denise to stop filming. Kyle Richards and buddy Dorit Kemsley get into it next week. Before we even get to all that, the first three episodes of this season have really delivered.
New cast member Garcelle Beauvais made a recent appearance on Watch What Happens Live and had some comments of her own. She was asked by host Andy Cohen who has the largest ego and was the least welcoming of the cast. Garcelle immediately named Kyle. She didn’t even hesitate so we know how she really feels. Naturally, Kyle took issue with that and responded that she wished Garcelle would have confronted her directly instead. Because I’m sure Kyle would have taken it so well if Garcelle said it to her face. Kyle had plenty to say in response.
The kids from Vanderpump Rules have given us a whole different vibe this season. Can I even call them kids anymore? No, I guess I really can’t. We were lured into the show with messy breakups, cheating, flings, and physical violence. Those days are long gone and while there is still some drama, the cast has grown up. I mean, the drama hits a little different when people are arguing about who gets to be in their wedding. Speaking of, as if you didn’t already know (snort), Jax Taylor and Brittany Cartwright got married. Not only did they talk about it all season but the episode was quite the affair. They all bought houses, most notably Ariana Madix with Tom Sandoval and Katie Maloney with husband, Tom Schwartz. Finally, Stassi Schroeder and her fan fav of a boyfriend, Beau Clark, got engaged.
It’s no surprise that this tight knit crew came together to celebrate the event, like they did the others. But not everyone thinks the cast should be, well, as tight as they appear to be.
