Don’t you miss Southern Charm? I got hooked on the show last year during Season 5-and then watched every episode from Season 1 on. Sometimes more than once, which I almost never do. Who would think a bunch of privileged Charleston residents could be so interesting?
Most of the success of the show lies with the brilliant casting. From 20-something Kathryn Dennis to in her late 70’s Patricia Altschul, there is someone for almost everyone to identify with. And the ringleader of the show is none other than almost middle-aged Shep Rose. Who is usually ready to offer his unsolicited advice on how others should behave. Unfortunately, Shep sometimes does not follow his own advice. And now, he has gotten himself into a bit of hot water over some unseemly behavior at a golf tournament.
Thomas and Kathryn are parents to daughter Kensington, and her little brother, Saint Julien. T-Rav employs a new strategy in his case against Kathryn, but is he trying to play a chess game with checkers moves? The back and forth is ongoing and only the children have remained consistent. Kensie and Saint seem like pawns in this brutal family battle that refuses to end.
The continuing drama of Kathryn Dennis and Thomas Ravenel is starting to read like a Jackie Collins book. Literally filled with sex, drugs, and flinging accusations. The two appeared in Charleston County Court yesterday, in the midst of a vicious custody dispute. The former Southern Charm couple share children Kensington and Saint Julien, ages 4 and 3, respectively.
Despite Kathryn’s recent request to seal records regarding the custody feud, she might have retained a victory in the ongoing battle. If you’re keeping score at home – after yesterday’s session, the redhead might be in the lead.
Kathryn Dennis and Thomas Ravenelhave been one of the most fascinating couples on reality television. The Southern Charmduo began a turbulent romance on Season 1 of the show that quickly resulted in two children. And LOTS of drama. Viewers know that the love affair didn’t last for long, however. And that Kathryn and Thomas have been engaged in a custody battle since 2016. She initially lost custody after a failed drug test.
Last October, Kathryn, who now has 50/50 custody, filed for primary custody of their children. Since then, both sides have made allegations of unfit parenting, substance abuse and more against each other. Now, Kathryn has gone back to court asking that the case records for their current custody battle be sealed.
Shep Rose is primarily known as a lovable goofball. The mailbox money collecting Southern Charm star is not usually known for his bad temperament. Of course, like anyone being filmed on a daily basis, glimmers of Shep’s anger surface from time to time. Usually directed towards castmate Craig Conover. And his fashion choices…love of sewing… and fondness for stretching the truth.
Now, it seems that our Shep has gotten himself into a bit of a social media feud. With none other than The Rock. And Shep also managed to drag the wildly popular chef and entrepreneur Guy Fieri into the mess.
There’s nothing like some mother/child time, right? Kelly Dodd took her daughter Jolie to Phoenix via private jet. How Lala Kentof her! Teen Mom star Jenelle Evanstook the low key route. She just posted a selfie with her baby girl.
Kristin Cavallarishared photos with her children taking care of a baby bird. Shamari DeVoeshared a throwback photo breastfeeding her twin boys. This is probably going to get some attention, because… well, it’s 2019. People are just looking for reasons to be offended these days.
Happy almost birthday to some of our favorite (and least favorite) reality TV stars! February is a big month for birthdays. Unfortunately, we will not be invited to any of these celebrations. Even so, we all know how much reality stars love a good party, especially when they’re the center of attention.
This means that we should all expect some Instagram photos and videos from these stars and their friends in February. We can all live vicariously through the fun thanks to social media.
