Is it possible James Kennedy has won the battle over the bottle? It’s looking that way for the Vanderpump Rules DJ. Poor James had a time last season. He suffered from
mommy multiple family issues and the wrath of Tequila Katie Maloney most of the cast. Lala Kent hated everybody but especially James. Former stalker girlfriend Kristen Doute was obsessed determined to ruin him. And as a final twist of the knife, Lisa Vanderpump caved in fired James when he drunkenly fat-shamed Katie and he lost his regular gig at SUR.
With the exception of live-in love Raquel Leviss and his dog, it seemed James had a target on his back. But why tho? If nothing else, James often provided commentary that was similar to what the viewers were thinking. Yes, James had a relationship with alcohol, but to my recollection, no one in the Pump Rules cast could pass a morality test. After an explosive reunion, where James almost came to blows with Jax Taylor, it seems he has turned a corner. James has been working on repairing shattered friendships and staying sober. Our
second favorite Brit showed up at BravoCon and talked about his time on the wagon.
BravoCon might be over, but the post event drama is still burning hot. So many of your favorite Bravolebs were in attendance for this iconic event. From The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills to Vanderpump Rules. They were all there. However, if you were expecting a “moment” between Lisa Vanderpump and her former costars, it didn’t happen. How great would that have been though?
Lisa’s shocking exit from Real Housewives sent everyone into a frenzy. The woman some people have crowned as the Queen Housewife had enough and walked away. It’s been over a year since Lisa stopped filming with the other women, so maybe she’d be open to reconciliation. It turns out time does not heal all wounds. If you were hoping to see Lisa and Kyle Richards interact, you were majorly let down.
The Bravolebrities all went to New York City for BravoCon, which had to be awkward, especially for anyone currently embroiled in a feud. Even though Lisa Vanderpump left Real Housewives of Beverly Hills mid-season and ditched the reunion, she still has her own show, Vanderpump Rules. So, of course, she went to BravoCon to represent. The only problem is that Lisa’s former RHOBH costars were in the house as well.
On Friday night, Andy Cohen taped a special episode of Watch What Happens Live, which aired last night, with a ton of Bravo stars. Lisa was there with the Pump Rules crew. After her interview segment with Andy, she peaced out, apparently. Did she just have a better place to be? Was it simply time for bed? Or was she trying to avoid Kyle Richards and the rest of them?
Is it January yet? I cannot wait for the return of Vanderpump Rules. Season 8 is definitely going to make up for the lackluster Season 7. The first trailer looked great, the new people seem dramatic, and I am so pumped (pun intended).
The fans at BravoCon were blessed with an additional Season 8 supertease and I can tell you with confidence that Season 8 is going to be nothing short of amazing.
This weekend is the first ever BravoCon. I have to admit that it sounds like a lot of fun. Tickets for the event went on sale in August and sold out immediately. Three days of all your favorite Bravo reality stars from all your favorite shows. The convention is featuring panels, photo ops, live shows and more. There is even going to be a Real Housewives Museum with photos, dresses worn at the reunions and Housewives memorabilia. Maybe Real Housewives of New York’s Aviva Drescher’s famously tossed prosthetic leg will make a guest appearance!
Bravo fans attending the event will also be able to try a special product inspired by one of the network’s favorite stars. Vanderpump Rules’ Lisa Vanderpump is being honored with a sparkling rosé that will debut at BravoCon.
When the trailer dropped for Season 8 of Vanderpump Rules last week, it was no surprise to see Kristen Doute on the outs with former best friends Stassi Schroeder and Katie Maloney-Schwartz.
After all, when reports surfaced that Kristen wasn’t present at Stassi‘s engagement party over the summer, the latter’s mother confirmed that the trio had once again fallen out during filming. In a pair of new interviews, Kristen finally broke her silence on the rift and where she stands with her erstwhile BFFs.
Some viewers cannot understand how the Vanderpump Rules cast friendships work. Most of them are friends with their exes. Many of them are best friends with their former enemies. Overall, there are just a lot of relationships that buck conventional wisdom. And this is why the show is so interesting to watch.
It feels like a whole lifetime ago when Jax Taylor ripped off his white, chunky sweater to fight for a reconciliation with Stassi Schroeder. I will never forget that era of television. It was truly classic. Nevertheless, so much has changed since then. Jax and Brittany Cartwright got married in Kentucky castle back in June. Beau Clark proposed to Stassi in a cemetery soon after. And, as the fans know, they’re all friends. Stassi was even a bridesmaid in Jax and Brittany’s wedding. Sure, it makes sense now. However, it seemed like such a long shot back in the early seasons to think about Stassi being a bridesmaid in Jax’s wedding.
After being “single for a year,” i.e. hooking up with Adam Spott, funding his life, and begging him to say “I love you” after buying him a penguin, Scheana Marie is officially off the market. It seems like a pretty new relationship, so we probably won’t see it on the upcoming season of Vanderpump Rules.
However, Scheana recently shared some info on her new guy. James Kennedy also chimed in with some details.
