The stars of Vanderpump Rules have really undergone some intense changes throughout the past year. Stassi Schroeder, Kristen Doute, Jax Taylor, Brittany Cartwright, Max Boyens and Brett Caprioni all “left” the show. Stassi, Britt, Lala Kent and Scheana Shay are all new moms. Sur is open for business after a coronavirus pandemic and a few legal issues here and there for Lisa Vanderpump.
As I said, the Pump Rules cast are mostly parents now. And the newest mommy in the pregnancy pact gave her child the most Scheana Marie name ever — Summer Moon Honey Davies. Are we really surprised? Lala gave birth just before her to her first child with Randall Emmett, named Ocean. And if they’re not changing diapers, giving parenting advice on a podcast or posting on their newborn babies’ Instagram accounts, the VPR cast is trying to get pregnant like Katie Maloney-Schwartz and Tom Schwartz. No more Vegas getaways and back alley fights for the OG Pumpers.
Vanderpump Rules star Lala Kent and Hollywood producer Randall Emmett kept their relationship under wraps when they first got together because Randall was still officially married. His divorce was finalized in 2017. Randall proposed to Lala in September of 2018 in romantic Cabo San Lucas.
Then Lala shocked Pump Rules viewers when she divulged that she is an alcoholic. In November of 2020, Lala celebrated her second year of sobriety. Unfortunately, the duo had to postpone their wedding, which was originally scheduled for April 18, 2020 because of the coronavirus pandemic.
Vanderpump Rules is finally returning after an extended hiatus. It has been a long time coming, but the Rona dictated most of our actions over the past year and definitely put a crimp in some of our favorite shows. Lala Kent is one of the few veteran cast who wasn’t pink-slipped during the Pump Rules exodus. You can say a lot about Lala because she doesn’t hide much, and that’s what keeps viewers interested.
Lala has definitely provided some shocking television moments over the years. Mistakes have been made and lessons have been learned, but we’re all human. We see people navigating life, love, and the abundance of vodka through the lens of a camera during an edited 60 minutes, thanks to Bravo. It’s easy to forget the struggles or emotional turmoil anyone on our televisions might have suffered prior to playing the fame game. In her new book, Lala revealed an extremely sensitive decision she made during a particularly dicey time in her life. Now she shares why she opened up about a personal choice, and her hope that it will help others.
Lala Kent may be considered a veteran on Vanderpump Rules these days, she has worn a few new hats recently. She just gave birth to her first child with Randall Emmett in the recent string of Pump Rules births as part of the very real pregnancy pact. And now she’s an author — just releasing a memoir about her life and journey.
It’s far from a novel idea for a Bravolebrity to release a book, especially these days. It does seem like Lala’s a bit young to be writing a memoir on her entire life. But her journey of sobriety and motherhood is probably quite the story to tell. And she might as well milk her time left on VPR, because who knows how long the show will even be around.
Lisa Vanderpump is one of the most charismatic and affluent Real Housewives of all time. On the outside, it appears like she lives in the perfect world. The glitz and the glamour seem to follow her wherever she goes. She truly does live a life that millions across the globe would do anything to have. Walking around with cute little dogs and starring in multiple television shows is quite the mood.
However, in a shocking move Lisa exited Real Housewives of Beverly Hills after nine seasons. She was a staple of the series, so saying goodbye to her was hard for many fans. Her British humor charmed her biggest fans, and there was a deep sense of loss with her abrupt departure. Despite leaving the show, it felt like Lisa was in good spirits and still thriving in business. However, all is not as it seems. t looks like nobody had a clue about the battle she was facing deep inside.
While many of your favorite Bravo shows are on hiatus, a lot of the stars need to compensate for lack of attention. This might be why everyone and their mother now have podcasts. It’s an outlet that provides a platform to openly discuss politics, environmental issues, or in Bravo’s case, what random people are in bed together.
That’s why we’re lucky to have the Pillows and Beer podcast courtesy of Southern Charm stars Craig Conover and Austen Kroll. If you think that sounds too good to be true, prepare for your mind to be blown. Recently Vanderpump Rules new mom, Lala Kent, joined Craigy and Austen to chat. How much star power can one podcast handle? Lala and the boys teamed up to dish on life, love, and the pursuit of Madison LeCroy’s happiness.
“It’s all happening” Scheana Shay is officially a mom. The Vanderpump Rules OG cast member welcomed her first child with boyfriend Brock Davies. In true Scheana fashion, she notified her followers that she was in labor via Instagram Story… which shared on her own account and the account she made for her daughter while she was still in the womb. Then again, that’s really the norm these days, especially for reality TV
castoffs cast members; I.e. fellow new parents Jax Taylor and Brittany Cartwright.
Snark aside, congratulations to Scheana and Brock. Scheana has been very open about her desire to become a mom and her motherhood journey, which included freezing her eggs. She had a rough time in Summer 2020 as she went through her miscarriage in the midst of feuding with Lala Kent, who she claims ditched her for a dinner with Megan Fox and Machine Gun Kelly, which is very on-brand for Lala.
It seems like a lifetime ago that we last had new episode of Vanderpump Rules on our screen. A lot has changed. Lisa Vanderpump’s restaurants dealt with closures due to the pandemic, and a few legal issues here and there. Stassi Schroeder, Kristin Doute, Max Boyens and Brett Caprioni were fired for alleged racist behaviors. Jax Taylor and Brittany Cartwright also “left” the show (read: probably also got fired). Stassi, Brittany, Lala Kent and Scheana Shay are new moms. Even Lisa’s beloved Giggy crossed over to doggy heaven.
After the whirlwind of an offseason, it was starting to feel like VPR was done for good. It even had Scheaners worried. Several alums (aka the one’s who “left’) were calling for a new spinoff show with just the OGs. It’s probably because they, especially Jax, could use a boost in their bank accounts right about now. And while Tom Sandoval and Ariana Madix gave us hope for a return, it seemed like the Pump Rules train came and left, never to return.
