Andrew Gordon, a 39 year-old podiatrist from Miami Beach, FL, found himself the latest house-guest to be eliminated from Big Brother12.
In a new interview with PEOPLE, Andrew aka Captain Kosher, discusses his elimination despite being a pawn, his eviction speech, finding out about Matt‘s lie, and why he thinks Rachel is an “idiot.”
Excerpts from Andrew’s interview below –
What do you think was your biggest mistake in the house was? I shot myself in the foot with the speech that I gave during the veto meeting and couldn’t recover.
During that speech, you lied and said you were coming after Rachel and Brendon. Had you stayed in the house and won HOH, who would your targets have been? I would have targeted Kristen and Hayden with the intent of getting Kristen out of the house.
Julie Chen called [your speech] “the best plea speech I’ve ever seen.” I think it was on of the top eviction speeches ever. I hope people don’t take it to heart after the show is over with. If I had more time, I would’ve liked to have exposed the Lane and Matt connection.
You lied about your profession but now that you know the truth about Matt, do you feel he went too far? It’s part of the game. Some people in the world believe he did go too far. I believe that when you go into the house, it is a game and you should never take anything personally.
What did you think of Rachel’s goodbye message when she accused you of trying to get between her and her man? Rachel is an idiot. I think if anything I saved her man and now she repays me by sending me out. I want to ask her that when she gets out as well.
Nominated for eviction tonight are Hayden and ‘girlfriend’ Kristen, as Britney did not use the POV to save either of them. The plan by HOH Rachel is to get Kristen out, but we will find out tonight if that works.
TELL US – WHO DO YOU WANT TO SEE LEAVE THE SHOW? WHAT ARE YOUR THOUGHTS ON TONIGHT’S EPISODE?
It is the fourth week in the Big Brother household as Andrew Gordon, the 39-year-old Jewish podiatrist from Miami Beach, Fl, found himself the latest houseguest to be ousted.
Andrew however did not leave the house quietly. In what is being called one of the most memorable eviction speeches ever, Andrew made sure to out Kristen and Hayden’s secret showmance, much to the shock of many of the houseguests.
And in what seems like deja vu, the fake boobed wonder known as Rachel is once again the reigning HOH.
It also seems the not so brilliant folks behind BB12 have realized this season has been a tad boring, especially when you add in the failure of the Saboteur twist. It was announced on Thursday’s live show that the Saboteur twist will be returning, but this time it will only be for 2 weeks and America will get to choose which houseguest we want as the Saboteur. The chosen HG will however be given the opportunity to decline. If they choose to accept the challenge, they will receive $20,000 if they survive the 2 weeks. Something tells me Matt will be the perfect man for the job.
Below are spoilers for this week, and is it just me or has this season of BB been lackluster thus far? There aren’t really any likable people to root for. The brigade is annoying, Brendon seemed somewhat likable in the beginning and I even deemed him to be this season’s Jeff but his ridiculous showmance with the bimbo has taken away from him, Britney is annoying, Kristen is boring and only seems to want to ride Hayden‘s coattails, Ragan is a floater and Kathy who?
Plus it’s the fourth week and the house is still unaware of the Brigade alliance? How is this even possible? Do they not see the meetings these four seem to have a lot of? Sighs.
TELL US – WHAT ARE YOUR THOUGHTS ON BB12 SO FAR? WHO ARE YOU ROOTING FOR?
Monet Stunson, a 24-year-old model from Glen Carbon, IL found herself the second house-guest to leave the Big Brother 12 house last week.
In a new interview with PEOPLE, Monet opens up on being ousted, why she shouldn’t have trusted Matt, and why winning the $10,000 prize made her a target.
Excerpts from Monet’s interview is below –
To the casual observer, it didn’t seem like you had any strategy at all. What was your game plan? I did have a strategy and that was not to win the first HOH and not to win a large prize early on in the game. However, I did win the money so that changed my strategy and put a huge target on my back.
Matt seemed to play you and everyone else in the house. Did you see it coming? Yes and no. My initial reaction to Matt was that I didn’t trust him, but I kind of let that slide. I trusted him a little too much once he was put up as a replacement nominee. I should have expected it.
Besides Britney, is there anyone in the house you see yourself keeping in touch with? I might attempt to keep in touch with Kathy or maybe Lane. I will definitely keep in touch with Britney.
You called just about everyone in the house “stupid.” Do you think you played a smart game? I don’t think I called them stupid to their faces. I tried to play a smart game, but having such a huge target on your back makes it hard.
Rachel’s case against you was that you had already won $10,000 and that you never tried to warm up to her. Knowing what you know now, would you have passed on the money? Would you have been friendlier to Rachel? I didn’t want to win the money — don’t get me wrong, I’m happy I have it now — it’s just kind of what happened. As far as Rachel goes, I probably would have pretended to like her more … pretended we were long lost friends.
What are you going to do with the money you won?
I’m going to save it.
Looking back, what would you have done differently? I would have aligned myself with the other girls. I would have been nicer and pretended to like them.
Tonight’s episode will show a third house-guest leaving the BB house. The HOH Matt nominated Andrew and Kathy, with the intention of backdooring Brendon. Brendon however won the POV competition, meaning Andrew or Kathy will be leaving the show tonight.
TELL US – WHO DO YOU WANT TO SEE EXIT THE SHOW? WHAT ARE YOUR THOUGHTS ON TONIGHT’S EPISODE?
With the new edition of Big Brother currently airing, a lot of the show’s fans have been wondering what is going on with last season’s favorite Jeff Schroeder.
Jeff, who came close to making the BB final 2 last year, has since appeared on the Amazing Race this year with girlfriend & fellow BB alum Jordan Lloyd. While the couple came way short of winning the show, it seems Jeff is now ready for a new adventure.
In a new interview with PEOPLE, Jeff discusses being the host of Around the World for Free, a web series for CBS.com that will take him across the world for 100 days with no money and with viewers determining where he goes, how he gets there and where he stays. Jeff also confirms that he and Jordan are still together, and discusses how they make their long-distance relationship work.
Excerpts from Jeff’s interview below –
You have said that doing a travel show was your ultimate dream and now it’s been realized. How does it feel? Not to be too philosophical, but I’ve learned that anything can happen if you really believe in it and want it enough. I’ve been saying it for a long time and I know that BB and The Amazing Race were springboards for me to get this show. But it’s an amazing feeling to realize a dream.
So many things can go wrong in 100 days. Are you nervous? If you look for problems or if you go out looking for the bad, then you’re going to find it. I have to focus on the positive and keep telling myself that there are good people out there and that everything is going to be good. My attitude is that I know things are going to go well but I’m hopping things go even better!
Are you catching up on your world cultures or are you going into this fully blind?
Obviously I’m no world traveler but I kind of want to go in blind. I want to learn as the audience learns. I think I’m an average, everyday guy and I want everyone else to be on my page. I want to go into this with an open heart and open eyes.
How are you and Jordan doing? We’ve had our bumps but no break-ups and everything is going great. We only get to see each other every two weeks or so. We have to travel back and forth but we vacation together and do a lot of fun things together. Lately I’ve been busy with the show and she’s been busy with school, but having to work with a long-distance relationship really worked out for us because when we finally get a break from what we’re doing we’re so excited to see each other. So far, so good.
Annie Whittington, a 27 year-old bartender from Tampa, FL, found herself the first houseguest to be eliminated from the 12th season of Big Brother last week.
Not only did Annie get the boot, but she was also revealed to be the Saboteur, so her elimination also took away the big BB twist this season.
In a new interview with PEOPLE, Annie opens about her sexuality, her downfall, what she would have done differently, and why Rachel is getting her “sloppy seconds.”
Excerpts from Annie’s interview below –
Did being the Saboteur hurt your game and cause your eviction? I was really stressed out all the time. I was always worried about getting caught or someone calling me out or someone discovering I was the Saboteur. It probably changed my mental approach to the game and made me more emotional.
Going in, what was your game plan? Why would you align yourself with a showmance like Brendan and Rachel? My strategy was to lay low and not be dramatic but I did the opposite the second I entered the house. I did not think I was actually aligning myself with a showmance and I would have never entered into that alliance had I known. That was a mistake on my part. I did my best to try and get them out of the house.
You said in your exit interview with Julie Chen, that Rachel could have your “sloppy seconds.” What exactly, did you mean by that? Nothing ever happened with Brendon. He came onto me early on in the game and I denied him. I am very happy in my own relationship. But I don’t think Rachel knew any of that. But in all actuality, he wanted me, not her.
What would you have done differently? I would not have played so hard so fast. I would have not trusted Brendon as much as I did and ultimately that is what led to my demise in this game and the biggest reason why I am gone. I should have laid low.
How does it feel to not only be the first one evicted, but to also be the first Saboteur? I’m honored to be the first Saboteur as I am a big fan of the show and now I guess I am also a part of BB history. And I’m honored that people had enough confidence in me to pull it off. But I’m a bit embarrassed to be the first person to leave the house. But maybe I can take it as a compliment that people thought I was enough of a threat to get me out so early.
You opened up to Ragan, who is openly gay. Why weren’t you more open about your sexuality? Was that fear or game-play? I opened to Ragan because I needed to tell someone. I was keeping it all bottled up inside and it was effecting me emotionally. That was hindering my personality from coming out during the game. I had a strong relationship with the guys and I knew they were attracted to me so I didn’t reveal it to them. I wanted to be able to play off of that and use it to my advantage.
You had such a strong argument in your final plea, where you surprised by the landslide vote against you? Honestly I wasn’t shocked, but surprised by the vote of ten to zero. I thought some of the other house guests would rally for me. It hurt my feelings, but I understand it is a game.
Besides your alliance with Rachel and Brendon, were you aware of any other alliances? Yes, I know Britney, Monet and Kathy are in one. And maybe Hayden made deal with Brendon and Rachel. Everyone else seems to be swaying back and forth, but alliances are being made.
A new episode of BB12 is set to air tonight. Rachel nominated Britney and Monet for eviction on Sunday, and tonight we will find out the POV winner, and whether or not the nominations will change.
TELL US: WHAT ARE YOUR THOUGHTS ON ANNIE’S INTERVIEW AND TONIGHT’S EPISODE OF BB?
Life goes on in the Big Brother household just days after the biggest fail in the history of BB twists.
Annie Whittington, 27, was revealed as the Saboteur last Thursday. Only one major problem. Annie was also the first house-guest to be evicted from the Big Brother house, basically ruining the “big twist” this season.
While Big Brother deserves major kudos for at least picking a woman to be the moleAmerica’s Player Saboteur, one has to ask, what the heck were they thinking in picking Annie? She was a terrible choice to be the Saboteur as she simply talked too much, did too much, and annoyed her housemates to no end. A lot of TV viewers are wondering why Annie got sent home over Rachel, and it was simply because her housemates found her obnoxious and annoying. The TV editing for some reason did not touch on the fact that the HGs didn’t like her. To sum it up, Annie was simply the wrong person to do the job, and the fact that she couldn’t even last a week in the BB house speaks volumes. Someone like Kristen or Kathy would have been better suited. The Big Brother Saboteur twist equals a MAJOR FAIL.
Zap2It is however reporting the first eliminated HGs, including Annie, will be sequestered. This means there’s a very good chance one of the first 3 – 5 eliminated HGs will be brought back into the game. Plus we still have the lifelong friends twist, so perhaps all hope is not lost for Big Brother 12.
Moving on to this week’s happenings. Rachel surprisingly won HOH, which means “her man” Brendon is safe. Also coming up in tonight’s episode, we get to see Rachel’s nominees and the HGs will find out Annie was the Saboteur.
In today’s spoilers, we reveal the nominees and the POV winner, plus it seems a certain someone isn’t being so true to his Brigade alliance. Find out who below!
TELL US – WERE YOU DISAPPOINTED WITH THE SABOTEUR TWIST? PLUS WHAT ARE YOUR THOUGHTS ON TONIGHT’S EPISODE?
Judging from last night’s episode, it seems Annie will be the first house guest to leave. The other HGs have revealed they simply deem her a bigger threat than Rachel. Also not shown on TV, Annie has been wrecking major havoc in the house since being on the block, and it seems the other HGs are simply tired of her.
Also tonight, the ‘Saboteur‘ will finally be unveiled! It’s anyone’s guess who it is. The HGs seem to suspect Andrew.
Another twist revealed this week was that two of the HGs are lifelong friends. Britney suspected Brendon and Kristen because she didn’t buy their reactions, while Kristen suspected Matt and Annie because they hadn’t interacted but had more in common than any of the other house guests.
The only thing that’s clear is that this season of Big Brother is one to watch! The new episode airs tonight at 8:00 pm Eastern on CBS.
My Thoughts So Far: Big Brother is indeed my favorite reality show and I must say this season has been great thus far. I wasn’t that impressed with the Saboteur twist, but this lifelong friends twist however has me very intrigued. Now that’s the kinda twist I like!
Saboteur – I really have no clue on who the Saboteur is though I highly doubt it’s Andrew, that would simply be too obvious right? He is too reminiscent of former America’s player Eric. I truly believe (and hope) it is a woman this time around. I suspect Kathy, Annie or Monet. Plus if you notice, the physical stature of the Saboteur seems to be of a smaller stature, similar to that of a woman. But then again, perhaps Big Brother is just screwing with us and has altered the size of the Saboteur. Must say I can’t wait to find out who it actually is tonight.
Lifelong Friends – This is such a great twist, similar to the Twins twist they had in the past. There are a lot of theories as to who these could be. The biggest one is that it is Kathy and Britney, and that they are mother and daughter. Remember during the message to the HGs, the Saboteur said: “And if you think about it, it’s actually quite easy to figure out.” Well Kathy and Britney are both from Arkansas, plus the Saboteur did put Xs on both of their names earlier on, perhaps as a clue to the HGs. Another theory is that if they are not mother and daughter, they are at least related. Another theory is that Matt & Ragan might be brothers.
Brigade Alliance – The Brigade, yikes! This could possibly be the dumbest alliance in BB history. Enzo nicknaming himself Meow Meow? Priceless. There are so many flaws with this alliance. For starters, they will be discovered by the other HGs any minute now. Two, one thing I’ve learned from watching BB is that joining an alliance too quickly is always a bad idea, plus the number of people in the alliance, four, is one too many for the time being. And finally, there are simply one too many idiots in the alliance aka Enzo, Hayden. I am really hoping someone not it the alliance wins HOH tonight and hopefully puts up two people from the alliance.
Showmance – How hot is Brendon by the way? But in all seriousness, it seems Brendon and Rachel are getting way too caught up in their showmance and it is without a doubt affecting their game play. Rachel saying she would have saved Brendon had she won POV was very adorable, but really, has she forgotten her reason for moving into the BB house? These two being so open with their showmance, so soon, is also a bad idea. People are not going to want to go into an alliance with them because they know Brendon and Rachel will always be loyal to each other and put the other first. With that said, I really do like Brendon and am rooting for him.
TELL US: WHAT ARE YOUR THOUGHTS ON BB SO FAR? WHAT DO YOU THINK OF THE SABOTEUR? NEW TWIST, BRIGADE & THE SHOWMANCE?
It’s just week 1 in the Big Brother household and a lot is starting to unfold already!
The premiere episode ended with housemate Hayden winning the Head of Household, while Andrew, who volunteered to sit out the HOH competition was declared ineligible for eviction.
The biggest surprise comes in the form of a new twist. The Saboteur delivered a message to the houseguests informing them that two of their cast members are lifelong friends and already had an alliance before entering the BB game. No word yet on who the two HGs are.
In this week’s spoilers, the two nominees are revealed as well as the POV winner. A showmance is also brewing between two of the housemates, can you guess who?
