Big Brother

Annie Whittington of Big Brother

Annie Whittington, a 27 year-old bartender from Tampa, FL, found herself the first houseguest to be eliminated from the 12th season of Big Brother last week.

Not only did Annie get the boot, but she was also revealed to be the Saboteur, so her elimination also took away the big BB twist this season.

In a new interview with PEOPLE, Annie opens about her sexuality, her downfall, what she would have done differently, and why Rachel is getting her “sloppy seconds.”

Excerpts from Annie’s interview below –

Did being the Saboteur hurt your game and cause your eviction?
I was really stressed out all the time. I was always worried about getting caught or someone calling me out or someone discovering I was the Saboteur. It probably changed my mental approach to the game and made me more emotional.

Going in, what was your game plan? Why would you align yourself with a showmance like Brendan and Rachel?
My strategy was to lay low and not be dramatic but I did the opposite the second I entered the house. I did not think I was actually aligning myself with a showmance and I would have never entered into that alliance had I known. That was a mistake on my part. I did my best to try and get them out of the house.

You said in your exit interview with Julie Chen, that Rachel could have your “sloppy seconds.” What exactly, did you mean by that?
Nothing ever happened with Brendon. He came onto me early on in the game and I denied him. I am very happy in my own relationship. But I don’t think Rachel knew any of that. But in all actuality, he wanted me, not her.

What would you have done differently?
I would not have played so hard so fast. I would have not trusted Brendon as much as I did and ultimately that is what led to my demise in this game and the biggest reason why I am gone. I should have laid low.

How does it feel to not only be the first one evicted, but to also be the first Saboteur?
I’m honored to be the first Saboteur as I am a big fan of the show and now I guess I am also a part of BB history. And I’m honored that people had enough confidence in me to pull it off. But I’m a bit embarrassed to be the first person to leave the house. But maybe I can take it as a compliment that people thought I was enough of a threat to get me out so early.

You opened up to Ragan, who is openly gay. Why weren’t you more open about your sexuality? Was that fear or game-play?
I opened to Ragan because I needed to tell someone. I was keeping it all bottled up inside and it was effecting me emotionally. That was hindering my personality from coming out during the game. I had a strong relationship with the guys and I knew they were attracted to me so I didn’t reveal it to them. I wanted to be able to play off of that and use it to my advantage.

You had such a strong argument in your final plea, where you surprised by the landslide vote against you?
Honestly I wasn’t shocked, but surprised by the vote of ten to zero. I thought some of the other house guests would rally for me. It hurt my feelings, but I understand it is a game.

Besides your alliance with Rachel and Brendon, were you aware of any other alliances?
Yes, I know Britney, Monet and Kathy are in one. And maybe Hayden made deal with Brendon and Rachel. Everyone else seems to be swaying back and forth, but alliances are being made.

A new episode of BB12 is set to air tonight.  Rachel nominated Britney and Monet for eviction on Sunday, and tonight we will find out the POV winner, and whether or not the nominations will change.

TELL US: WHAT ARE YOUR THOUGHTS ON ANNIE’S INTERVIEW AND TONIGHT’S EPISODE OF BB?

Big Brother 12 Cast

Life goes on in the Big Brother household just days after the biggest fail in the history of BB twists.

Annie Whittington, 27, was revealed as the Saboteur last Thursday. Only one major problem. Annie was also the first house-guest to be evicted from the Big Brother house, basically ruining the “big twist” this season.

While Big Brother deserves major kudos for at least picking a woman to be the mole America’s Player Saboteur, one has to ask, what the heck were they thinking in picking Annie? She was a terrible choice to be the Saboteur as she simply talked too much, did too much, and annoyed her housemates to no end. A lot of TV viewers are wondering why Annie got sent home over Rachel, and it was simply because her housemates found her obnoxious and annoying. The TV editing for some reason did not touch on the fact that the HGs didn’t like her. To sum it up, Annie was simply the wrong person to do the job, and the fact that she couldn’t even last a week in the BB house speaks volumes. Someone like Kristen or Kathy would have been better suited. The Big Brother Saboteur twist equals a MAJOR FAIL.

Zap2It is however reporting the first eliminated HGs, including Annie, will be sequestered. This means there’s a very good chance one of the first 3 – 5 eliminated HGs will be brought back into the game. Plus we still have the lifelong friends twist, so perhaps all hope is not lost for Big Brother 12.

Moving on to this week’s happenings. Rachel surprisingly won HOH, which means “her man” Brendon is safe. Also coming up in tonight’s episode, we get to see Rachel’s nominees and the HGs will find out Annie was the Saboteur.

In today’s spoilers, we reveal the nominees and the POV winner, plus it seems a certain someone isn’t being so true to his Brigade alliance. Find out who below!

Annie Whittington of Big BrotherRachel Reilly of Big Brother

Tonight’s episode of Big Brother will bring the first elimination of the new season.

On the block are Annie Whittington, a 27-year-old bartender from Tampa, Fl and Rachel Reilly, a 26-year-old chemist/cocktail waitress from Las Vegas.

Judging from last night’s episode, it seems Annie will be the first house guest to leave. The other HGs have revealed they simply deem her a bigger threat than Rachel. Also not shown on TV, Annie has been wrecking major havoc in the house since being on the block, and it seems the other HGs are simply tired of her.

Also tonight, the ‘Saboteur‘ will finally be unveiled! It’s anyone’s guess who it is. The HGs seem to suspect Andrew.

Another twist revealed this week was that two of the HGs are lifelong friends. Britney suspected Brendon and Kristen because she didn’t buy their reactions, while Kristen suspected Matt and Annie because they hadn’t interacted but had more in common than any of the other house guests.

The only thing that’s clear is that this season of Big Brother is one to watch! The new episode airs tonight at 8:00 pm Eastern on CBS.

My Thoughts So Far: Big Brother is indeed my favorite reality show and I must say this season has been great thus far. I wasn’t that impressed with the Saboteur twist, but this lifelong friends twist however has me very intrigued. Now that’s the kinda twist I like!

Saboteur – I really have no clue on who the Saboteur is though I highly doubt it’s Andrew, that would simply be too obvious right? He is too reminiscent of former America’s player Eric. I truly believe (and hope) it is a woman this time around. I suspect Kathy, Annie or Monet. Plus if you notice, the physical stature of the Saboteur seems to be of a smaller stature, similar to that of a woman. But then again, perhaps Big Brother is just screwing with us and has altered the size of the Saboteur. Must say I can’t wait to find out who it actually is tonight.

Lifelong Friends – This is such a great twist, similar to the Twins twist they had in the past. There are a lot of theories as to who these could be. The biggest one is that it is Kathy and Britney, and that they are mother and daughter. Remember during the message to the HGs, the Saboteur said: “And if you think about it, it’s actually quite easy to figure out.” Well Kathy and Britney are both from Arkansas, plus the Saboteur did put Xs on both of their names earlier on, perhaps as a clue to the HGs. Another theory is that if they are not mother and daughter, they are at least related.  Another theory is that Matt & Ragan might be brothers.

Brigade Alliance – The Brigade, yikes! This could possibly be the dumbest alliance in BB history. Enzo nicknaming himself Meow Meow? Priceless. There are so many flaws with this alliance. For starters, they will be discovered by the other HGs any minute now. Two, one thing I’ve learned from watching BB is that joining an alliance too quickly is always a bad idea, plus the number of people in the alliance, four, is one too many for the time being. And finally, there are simply one too many idiots in the alliance aka Enzo, Hayden. I am really hoping someone not it the alliance wins HOH tonight and hopefully puts up two people from the alliance.

Showmance – How hot is Brendon by the way? But in all seriousness, it seems Brendon and Rachel are getting way too caught up in their showmance and it is without a doubt affecting their game play. Rachel saying she would have saved Brendon had she won POV was very adorable, but really, has she forgotten her reason for moving into the BB house? These two being so open with their showmance, so soon, is also a bad idea. People are not going to want to go into an alliance with them because they know Brendon and Rachel will always be loyal to each other and put the other first. With that said, I really do like Brendon and am rooting for him.

Big Brother 12

It’s just week 1 in the Big Brother household and a lot is starting to unfold already!

The premiere episode ended with housemate Hayden winning the Head of Household, while Andrew, who volunteered to sit out the HOH competition was declared ineligible for eviction.

The biggest surprise comes in the form of a new twist. The Saboteur delivered a message to the houseguests informing them that two of their cast members are lifelong friends and already had an alliance before entering the BB game. No word yet on who the two HGs are.

In this week’s spoilers, the two nominees are revealed as well as the POV winner. A showmance is also brewing between two of the housemates, can you guess who?

Big Brother 12 Cast

Tonight is the long awaited premiere of CBS’s summer hit reality show – Big Brother!

Big Brother 12 debuts tonight at 8 p.m. EDT. As usual, the show will air three episodes a week. This season will be on Wednesdays, Thursdays and Sundays. The uncensored nightly broadcast will continue to air on Showtime as well.

13 contestants are vying for the $500,000 prize this season but it wouldn’t exactly be Big Brother without a big twist. The twist this year is that there is a Saboteur who has been planted among the houseguests to do viewers’ bidding and disrupt the players’ lives throughout the competition.

However the ‘Saboteur,’ who will be revealed to the viewers on July 15, isn’t eligible to win the $500,000 prize. According to the show’s producers, the inside man/woman isn’t an actor, but a real player who went through the same casting process as the rest of the houseguests.

And though the show has yet to premiere, the houseguests have already moved in and are already playing the game as we speak. You can click below to get a free sneak peek at what’s going on in the house!

Big Brother 12

CBS has now unveiled the cast of the best reality show ever hit reality show Big Brother. The 13 houseguests that will be taking part in the 12th season of what CBS is dubbing the “Summer of Sabotage,” include a model, a bartender, and a chemistry graduate student who is also a VIP cocktail waitress.

But what everyone wants to know is what is the big twist this season? Well according to executive producer Allison Grodner, a mole has been planted among the houseguests to do the viewers’ bidding and disrupt the players’ lives during this season which debuts July 8 at 8 p.m. ET.

The mole, who will be revealed to viewers during the July 15 episode, is being called the Saboteur and isn’t eligible to win the $500,000 grand prize.

“For the first time ever, we have someone in the house who, in a way, is playing their own game,” said Grodner, who stressed that the operative is not an actor but a real person who was picked alongside everyone else. “They’re playing for a cash prize, if they make it a certain amount of time in the house. If they don’t last, they’re out, and their cover is blown.”

The Saboteur is similar to season 8’s introduction of “America’s Player,” which allowed one contestant, Eric Stein, to complete viewer-voted tasks for cash, unbeknownst to his house mates. The main difference this time however is that the cast will be made aware of the saboteur’s existence beforehand.

Julie Chen returns as the show’s host.

Big Brother Matt McDonaldMatt McDonald Mugshot

Matt McDonald, former star of Big Brother has gotten himself into a buttload of trouble.

First came news that the 26-year-old Matt, who appeared on Big Brother’s season nine back in 2008, was arrested for beating up his 8 weeks pregnant girlfriend. According to the cops involved in the case, Matt’s GF told them the two began arguing after he accused her of cheating on him, which then led to things getting violent.

Matt’s GF told cops he began strangling her and yelling, “I hope the baby dies and hope u [sic] have a miscarriage.” The violence then continued into the next day when Matt accused her of pouring water in his plasma TV — and then proceeded to kick her in the collarbone, put her in a headlock, and began punching her in the arms.

The officers observed visible bruising on the GF’s arms, neck and collarbone, and proceeded to arrest Matt. Fortunately, the GF did not lose her baby.

And then just days after his arrest, TMZ reported Matt was arrested once again for witness intimidation after his GF told cops he was trying to scare her into dropping the charges. Matt and his family members allegedly spent 2 days trying to intimidate the accuser and her family. Matt reportedly called his fiance from jail, a total of 4 times in 48 hours, demanding her to drop the charges against him.

And finally, for his third arrest in a span of 2 weeks, Matt was indicted Tuesday afternoon for conspiracy to distribute oxycodone, and get this, the cops believe he was working with his former Big Brother co-star Adam Jasinski. You know, the season 9 IDIOT winner who was arrested in October 2009 for using his $500,000 Big Brother winnings to fund a large oxycodone distribution ring.

Cops believe Matt was also involved in the drug ring from April 2008 to October 2009. Matt faces up to 20 years in prison and a $1 million fine if convicted of the drug charges alone.

Jeff and Jordan on The Bonnie Hunt Show

The recent episode of The Amazing Race brought us the unfortunate departure of Big Brother couple – Jeff Schroeder and Jordan Lloyd.

The duo appeared on The Bonnie Hunt show this week during which they discussed their time on the show, shared that they were still together and even admitted to being “in love,” (we can all let out a collective awwwwwwww).

Jordan, 23, revealed her plans to go back to school this summer, and Jeff, 31, is back at his old job. Though the couple is currently in a long distance romance, they did not rule out moving in together in the future. A video of their appearance courtesy of TVGrapevine is below.

The duo also gave an interview to TVGuide, excerpts from that is below –

TVGuide.com: When you got to the Detour and saw that Brent and Caite were still looking for the grapes, why didn’t you choose to do the same? Did you think doing the glasses would be faster?
Jeff:
We actually started with the grapes and then switched to the glasses. We knew we were really far behind, so we thought they were out there for hours, when they weren’t. I feel like I really screwed up on the Race. I think you should stay where the competition is and beat them at the task, but my choice was always to go down the unbeaten path. “Listen, they’re doing this. Let’s do the other one because I can do anything as well as anyone else.” That just wasn’t the case. I should’ve listened to Jordan a little bit more because I think it hurt us a few times. … I mean, I’m an athlete, so we should’ve picked soccer right away [in Germany]. But I heard Brent and Caite say they’re going to do soccer, so I just picked the other one. … But [we] like to make mistakes.
Jordan: It was also my fault because I didn’t speak up enough. I was like, “OK, well, if he thinks we can do it, let’s do it.”

TVGuide.com: Last time we talked, you said you were done with TV. Do you still feel the same way?
Jeff:
I think we’re going to take a vacation from reality TV. I think people are getting sick of us, too. We need to let all parties settle down a little bit. As far as reality shows go that are on the air, I think Amazing Race is definitely top-notch. It wins Emmys and it’s the classiest way you can go reality. Jordan wants to go on the Rock of Love Bus with Bret Michaels! [Laughs] I can drive the bus!
Jordan: Shut up! I want an Amazing Race re-do.
Jeff: We want Amazing Race against fifth-graders!

TVGuide.com: Are you sure you can beat them?
Jeff:
No, but it would be a great show. We’d be neck-and-neck all the way! We’ll pitch that one to CBS.

It was nice watching Jeff and Jordan on the Amazing Race, and tough to see them leave the show, but it just seemed at times that they didn’t want it bad enough – for example, when they refused to eat the sauerkraut during one of the earlier competitions. And let’s face it, though very cute together, these two are not the brightest bulbs of the bunch.
