Meredith Marks is upset with Jen Shah for talking about her marriage on Real Housewives of Salt Lake City. Meanwhile, Meredith’s bestie (and lookalike) Lisa Barlow took up for Jen at the Season 1 reunion, which makes zero sense. How is Meredith not bothered by Lisa going hard to stand up for the woman who upset her when she discussed her marriage?

On top of that, Heather Gay slammed Lisa for being a bad friend to Meredith. They got in a huge fight about this and Meredith didn’t say much at all. She merely admitted that she wasn’t listening/paying attention. She also got up to take a break while Heather and Lisa fiercely fought to defend her honor. Before Real Housewives of Salt Lake City even started airing, we all knew that Mary Cosby married her step-grandfather, Robert Cosby Sr. We were all under the impression (because she told us) that her grandmother asked her to do so.

Mary became a First Lady of their church in addition to inheriting some restaurants, more homes than she can count, Chanel bags (that may or may not make her happy), and a bunch of throne-like chairs. Well, I don’t know if she inherited the chairs or if she just bought them with that church/restaurant money, but I’m just looking for a plausible explanation for her decor. The more Mary that I see, the more fascinated I am by her. In contrast, Real Housewives of Potomac star Gizelle Bryant doesn’t feel that way. She wants less Mary on Season 2.

How do you solve a problem like Mary Cosby? That was the main question running through my mind after Part 2 of the Real Housewives of Salt Lake City reunion. Honestly though, has any Housewife in history ever made such blatantly problematic statements as Mary did in this episode? I almost don’t even know where to start digging in, to be honest. Nothing about any of it was OK or, frankly, made very much sense at all.

And that’s not all! During Part 2, there were jaw-dropping revelations, new nicknames, an epic walk-off, and even a surprise cameo by Lisa Rinna via text. (Turns out, like the rest of the Housewives universe, she’s a major fan of the RHOSLC ladies. That’s called having taste. Just ask Rihanna. As Mary pointed out repeatedly during the episode, we have a lot of cards to get through, so let’s jump in, shall we?

Don’t get me wrong, I love when a Real Housewife makes an effort to contribute to her show. But, sometimes, a Real Housewife tries too much and it’s just not, well, “real.” During the first reunion episode of Real Housewives of Salt Lake City, Lisa Barlow said she was upset with Heather Gay because the audience was upset with how Lisa treated Heather. Well, how is that Heather’s fault?

Lisa has exhibited some mean girl tendencies. And, well, the viewers adore Heather because she is relatable and seems to be very sincere, despite what Lisa claims. Lisa had no clue she was messing with a fan favorite. And just when you think that you couldn’t love Heather even more, she is also a Real Housewives viewer, just like the rest of us and she has her favorites.

In an upcoming episode of the reunion, Mary even took a little nap while filming. I guess she wasn’t nervous about her first reunion.
