Most of us love a good old fashioned Hollywood scandal. Especially if it involves wealth, power, privilege and arrogance. All of those bullet point requirements and more were met by the college admissions fraud story that broke last month.
The two best known players in the scandal have been actresses Felicity Huffman and Lori Loughlin. Much to their consternation, I am sure, they have been the cover girls for a legal debacle that seems resistant to dropping out of the headlines. Allegations of resorting to bribery to get your children into college is proof that yes, there actually is such a thing as bad publicity. And last year, Lori revealed that she and her family could have been the subject of even more public attention-with their own reality show.
Bravo has created a world of reality tv viewing. Real Housewives of New York, Below Deck, Southern Charm, and Shahs of Sunset to name a few. Almost every day of the week we tune in to see what shenanigans our favorite, or most loathed, “character” gets themselves into.
Are you wanting a change of scenery? Do you hate blind dates but LOVE watching others squirm having one? Then your prayers have been answered because Bravo has decided to bring back one of the classics.
We can’t cover every news story ourselves. Fortunately, there are a lot of great sources for reality TV news and gossip. Check out this links from some of our favorite sites in the March 18, 2019 edition of Monday Afternoon Tea.
Kyle Richards and Lisa Vanderpump have had a tumultuous relationship during all eight seasons of the Real Housewives of Beverly Hills. Even so, the housewife OGs have managed to still be good friends throughout their ups and downs. Season 9 just might be the breaking point for their friendship.
It didn’t take long for viewers to see that Kyle and Lisa were at odds. The very first episode of the season opened with Ken Todd calling Kyle a liar and kicking her out of Villa Rosa as Lisa stood by. Whatever caused the feud, ahem #puppygate, is still ongoing per Kyle’s recent actions on social media.
Loyalty to your friends doesn’t last long in Beverly Hills! Last season, Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star Teddi Mellencamp Arroyave was Lisa Vanderpump’s “Teddi Bear,” and they bonded over their love of horses. Now Teddi has officially switched over from Team Lisa to Team LVP Manipulated Me.
Teddi is upset because Lisa called her out for talking about Dorit Kemsley and #puppygate. And instead of taking accountability for her own actions, she’s blaming Lisa. Does Teddi need to retake her online accountability coach exam?
Is Dina Lohan getting catfished? It sure does seem like it. Why else would she be “in love” with someone she’s never actually met!? FOR FIVE YEARS. Not only that, but they’ve never even FaceTimed.
Dina revealed her relationship, if you can even call it that, during a recent episode of Celebrity Big Brother. Dina couldn’t wait to tell her fellow Celebrity Big Brother castmates, Kandi Burruss, Tamar Braxton, and Natalie Eva Marie about the man she’s been seeing (well, not really seeing but..) for five years. Of course, they were all shocked. No one really knew how to react to that revelation.
Kelly Dodd hyped up her “bench” full of the men she’s been dating all season on Real Housewives of Orange County. However, it seems like she’s done with that roster. The proud player is now a one man woman. Kelly and her new man even made it Instagram official, which is a pretty big deal these days.
Happy New Year! We wanted to take a minute to wish all of our readers a happy and healthy 2018! Thanks so much for sharing our love of the crazy reality TV shows and stars! We will be light on the posts today, but back at it tomorrow with a great start to 2019!
