The 90 Day Fiance: Happily Ever After reunions are always memorable. But this one is especially interesting, considering it is the first social distancing version, where no one is on set together. You would think it would be hard for everyone to engage, but there was no shortage of digs and opinions as some of the most explosive moments are covered.
In part one of the Tell All, the couples reunite from their own homes. Angela Deem and Michael Ilesanmi struggle with trust issues. Elizabeth Potthast Castravet‘s family questions Andrei Castravet‘s integrity. Colt Johnson clashes with both of his exes. Asuelu Pulaa ‘s coronavirus habits are questioned. Let’s get straight into the 90 Day Fiance recap!
Instead of spending money to visit her children in Brazil or fly them to the United States, multi-season 90 Day Fiance cast member Larissa Dos Santos Lima just got a ton of plastic surgery, which she documented on the show. Sure, she probably got some heavily discounted/possibly free work in exchange for 90 Day Fiance publicity.
So what is that complete face/body makeover going to get her? Well, apparently, she is earning a good amount of money. She has started doing “lingerie shows” online, which I had no idea was even a thing.
Nicole Nafziger from 90 Day Fiance is one of the more well known cast members at this point. Despite having cornered the market on blandness, the former Starbucks barista always has the fans talking.
Maybe it’s the fact that Nicole and her “fiance”, Azan Tefou don’t exactly seem like a couple in love. Or maybe it’s because of those pesky rumors that he is married and has kids with his cousin. Or better yet, the reports that Nicole abandoned her daughter to go to Morocco in the middle of a pandemic and got stuck there for five months. And didn’t have a single picture to show of Azan while she was there. Wait, maybe all this makes Nicole not so bland after all.
Jay Smith and Ashley Martson. I mean, who cares? Me either. But I just love to snark on these two. Literally, the only joy they’ve brought me are the infamous name “pussy-skinz”, the scene of Ashley’s friend riding away angrily on a scooter, and…. I think that’s it. It was literally less than 6 months ago we were all cackling that these 90 Day Fiance failures were back together. Sure, Jan.
Jay has kept his life moving forward by opening a tattoo shop. Ashley is opening a lingerie line and getting in racially based social media arguments with Jax Taylor. I’m gonna remind everyone that this demonic cherub literally called the police on her Black immigrant husband for cheating on her. Is that a crime that necessitates kicking him out with nowhere to go via police force? He faced deportation and went to ICE. She’s an awful awful person.
The 90 Day Fiance: Happily Ever After season finale definitely set the stage for an explosive reunion. I can’t wait!!!! I found myself asking is love enough to make a relationship last throughout the episode. Apparently, the answer to that age-old question is no. I honestly believe there are several couples this season that genuinely love each other. The problem is that most of them don’t possess the tools to work through their issues in a mature way. TLC needs to give everyone who signs on to this show, free therapy as a bonus. We all know this would be beneficial for them as couples and individuals.
Larissa Dos Santos Lima’s plastic surgery transformation stuns her friends. Andrei Castravet confronts his brother-in-law, Charlie at the wedding. Kalani Faagata and Asuelu Pulaa reach a breaking point. Colt Johnson finally tells Debbie Johnson to back off. Syngin Colchester considers staying in South Africa. Tragedy strikes Angela Deem‘s family. Let’s get straight into the 90 Day Fiance Happily Ever After recap!
Stassi Schroeder addressed her firing from Vanderpump Rules for the first time during a sit-down interview with Tamron Hall this morning. She shared her regrets about calling herself “Nazi chic.” Stassi said she hired a “diversity teacher” to educate her on race, which actually includes weekly homework assignments.
She even called herself a “Karen” for previously declaring that “all lives matter.” Tamron really went in with some tough questions for Stassi. She even brought up Jax Taylor and the recent backlash against him.
The couples on 90 Day Fiance really leave an impression. Some good, some bad. One couple I would put in the “horrible but unforgettable” category would be Nicole Nafziger and (fiance?) Azan Tefou. The couple has been “together” for quite some time now and I use the word “together” loosely. My definition of together would be in an actual relationship. Nicole’s definition of together is being perpetually engaged to a man that may or may not have married and started a family with his cousin.
As if that wasn’t enough, Nicole’s plans to visit him this past spring ran into a snafu when the pandemic hit. That left Nicole stuck in Morocco and away from her young daughter. All for love, you say? If love means never actually having proof of spending time with the other person. It’s true, the only photos that Nicole posted of her and Azan during 5+ in Morocco were throwbacks. All of this leaving fans to speculate that Nicole is either having a complete relationship in her head.
Viewers of 90 Day Fiance Happily Ever After got to know Jess Caroline as the laid-back, fun loving, Brazilian red-head who started dating Colt Johnson after his divorce from Larissa Dos Santos Lima. Colt seemed smitten at first, and was even discussing baby names with Jess, as mother Debbie Johnson listened on in disgust. Certainly, Jess’s happiness was short lived, and she started to unravel on camera.
Of course, viewers would be curious as to whether this relationship would end in the same manner as Colt and Larissa’s had. After all, there was no clear aggressor and/or victim in that marriage. They simply shifted blame to their former partners.
