Kenya Moore’s return to Real Housewives of Atlanta has been surrounded by drama. Kenya was allegedly let go after Season 10 for refusing to film with her husband. Now she has twirled back for Season 12, and I am here for it!
On November 4, 2018 Kenya and her husband Marc Daly welcomed their daughter, Brooklyn Daly. But in September, Kenya announced that she and her camera-shy husband were divorcing after two years of marriage.
During last night’s episode of Real Housewives of Atlanta, Porsha Williams revealed that Dennis McKinley asked for her engagement ring back after he cheated and sent her a million flowers claiming he wanted to get back together.
After the episode, Cynthia Bailey appeared on Watch What Happens Live
to continue talking shit about NeNe Leakes to dish on the episode. After going through a public split herself, with ex-husband Peter Thomas, Cynthia talked about where they stand these days.
When you think about it, Bravo really changed the face of reality television. Sure, Bravo didn’t invent the genre, but over the years, the network has taken risks to start a wide variety of reality themed shows–from real estate to yachting and more. Many of these shows have been very successful and have been game changers in the reality television world.
Of course, the franchise Bravo is probably best known for is the Real Housewives. Who knew in 2006 that the franchise would still be going strong in 2019. From the original Real Housewives of Orange County, the show has landed in cities from New York to Dallas to Beverly Hills. One of the most successful spin-offs has been the Real Housewives of Atlanta. Recently, Peter Thomas, who used to be a regular on the show when married to Cynthia Bailey, shared his thoughts about how the men on the Housewives shows are portrayed.
Kenya Moore’s return last week on The Real Housewives of Atlanta was incredible. She never should have left and now she’s back and holding her rightful peach. The first episode was very BABY heavy, but the drama is coming. Seeing Porsha Williams and Kenya finally become friends is the greatest thing to ever happen to Atlanta. IT’S ABOUT TIME.
One thing that was crazy during the premiere was the absence of Nene Leakes. We now know the reason why, but it was still weird not seeing her. Nene’s feud with Kenya is a big selling point of this season, so hopefully, we see some of that soon. The first tension of the season is already brewing between Kenya and model Eva Marcille. Was it weird that Eva didn’t want her baby around Kenya? KINDA, but that’s classic Atlanta shade.
Real Housewives of Atlanta star Cynthia Bailey married Peter Thomas in front of Bravo cameras. Their union was plagued by cheating rumors and financial problems. In 2016, Cynthia decided to end their relationship and swore off marriage.
Cynthia and sportscaster Mike Hill quietly started dating and in August of 2018 Mike announced their relationship on Instagram. It was obvious to RHOA viewers that Cynthia was smitten with Mike.
Remember on Real Housewives of Atlanta when model Cynthia Bailey walked down the aisle under a creepy canopy of dinosaur bones to wed Peter Thomas? Cynthia’s silver-gray dress didn’t exactly spell joyful bride. Cynthia’s family was not supportive of Cynthia marrying Peter, and the wedding was tense.
After 6 years of marriage that was punctuated by financial issues and cheating rumors, Cynthia pulled the plug on their shaky union in 2016. Peter may not have wanted the divorce, but it was obviously for the best.
Real Housewives of Atlanta star Cynthia Bailey is all about the hashtag. Never forget the fiftieth birthday that went on for an entire year. If I have to see the hashtag “50 Cent” one more time…
Now, that Cynthia is getting married to Mike Hill, expect an influx of hashtags. She already wrote “#chill” in the captions for all of their photos. I get it, it’s clever C-Hill, Cynthia Hill, whatever. It was just way too much before they were actually engaged.
Someone tell me why Marlo Hampton never held a peach on Real Housewives of Atlanta. She’s always stirring up drama. She brings it with the fashion. The woman couldn’t be boring if she tried. And then, we have Cynthia Bailey, Eva Marcille, and Kandi Burruss, women who very rarely have a storyline outside of self-promotion. Listen, I totally get it, they are likable people, but they don’t usually bring the drama.
Marlo is just such a mystery too. It is still so unclear how she earns money to fund her seemingly luxurious lifestyle. Well, now, Marlo has
another old man Uncle Sam hitting her up. She, just like many reality TV star before her, has some pressing tax issues.
