Caitlyn Jenner leaves Patricia Field's store

Caitlyn Jenner has been in the 2015 zeitgeist more than Madonna circa late ’80s, but today a piece of news is cropping up that’s been dogging Caitlyn since winter. Back in February of this year, when Cailtyn was Bruce Jenner, she was involved in a Malibu car crash that left one woman, Kim Howe, dead.

Shortly after the crash, Howe’s two adult stepchildren attempted to file a wrongful death lawsuit against Bruce claiming, “Bruce was ‘careless and negligent’ when he slammed into Howe’s Lexus on PCH…causing it to careen into oncoming traffic where it collided head on with a Hummer.” But TMZ is reporting today that the initial settlement shows the accident to be tragic, but not criminal.

Kim-Kardashian-Morning-Sickness-Pill-keeping-up-with-the-kardashians-001

While Kim Kardashian is busy taking naked pregnancy selfies, the Food and Drug Administration (FDA) is busy trying to stop Dr. Kim from pushing her drug recommendations on the general public.

In late July, the pregnant Keeping Up with the Kardashians star took to social media to proclaim the miracle of the drug Diclegis, an anti-morning sickness pill. Kim claimed, “As you guys know my #morningsickness has been pretty bad. I tried changing things about my lifestyle, like my diet, but nothing helped, so I talked to my doctor. He prescribed me #Diclegis, I felt a lot better and most importantly, it’s been studied and there was no increased risk to the baby.”

Reality Stars Birthdays Kylie Jenner

Back when lips were smaller and Caitlyn Jenner was still Bruce, Kylie Jenner was just a 16-year old kid let loose on the mean streets of Calabasas with a driver’s license. Just over two weeks after Kylie began driving, she found herself at fault for a 3-car accident when she crashed her $125k Mercedes SUV into the back of a Toyota, which hit the back of a Suburu SUV.

At the time, reports claimed that “it didn’t appear anyone suffered any serious injuries,” and the Keeping Up with the Kardashians star maintains that she’s accepted all blame for the accident since then. But one victim is still refusing Kylie’s offer of a $20K settlement, instead taking the lawsuit to court. The victim is also asking that Kylie be deposed on video, which Kylie is refusing to do out of fear that the video will be leaked for publicity.

Khloe Kardashian Lamar Odom

I have to admit, Khloe Kardashian is my favorite (or least disliked?) member of the Keeping Up with the Kardashians empire. So I was sad to see that she and Lamar Odom finally signed divorce papers last week, nearly two years after their initial separation.

A source tells US Weekly that the formerly married couple “saw each other when she was in Vegas and both signed the divorce documents together,” making their split official. Khloe filed for divorce in 2013 after Lamar’s reported struggle with substance abuse and spousal cheating.

When the news of Kim Kardashian’s second pregnancy was quickly (and, I might add, awesomely!) overshadowed by Caitlyn Jenner’s viral Vanity Fair cover June 1st, the Keeping Up with the Kardashians star faded into the shadows just a bit. The only semi-update, complete with Holy Family Photo since then came when Kim tweeted the above pic: “Baptizing North in Jerusalem in an Armenian church with our new baby in my belly was so special.”

But alas! More news on Baby #2 for parents Kim and Kanye West is now popping up on Instagram, where Kim just posted this gender-revealing comment alongside a pic of Kanye and North reading together: “Precious moments like this when we were traveling on tour with you are what I live for. You’re such a good daddy to North & you will be the best daddy to our new son too!”

'China: Through The Looking Glass' Costume Institute Benefit Gala at the Metropolitan Museum of Art

It’s almost been a whole entire year that Kim Kardashian stayed married to a man, ya’ll! And that man, Kanye West, wants a do-over. Well, of sorts. The couple plans to renew their vows in Paris, France, later this month.  The Keeping Up with the Kardashians star and her hip hop hubby, in full diva mode, will be actually be renting out the Eiffel Tower for festivities surrounding the blessed event, according to reports. A private dinner will also be held at the posh 58 Tour Eiffel restaurant.

Paris is where the couple started their media storm wedding preparation last year with family before flying to Florence, Italy, for the main event on May 24 of 2014. Kim still thinks of Paris fondly, saying, “We fell in love in Paris…and then I got pregnant with our daughter in Florence.” After their 2014 wedding, Kim also told Jimmy Kimmel that “It was the most amazing experience just to be able to share it with so many family members and friends. We wanted everyone to be on this love journey with us.”

'Bruce Jenner: The Interview' with Diane Sawyer on ABC

Although both sides of Bruce Jenner’s family showed public support (tweets, interviews, soundbites) in the wake of his Diane Sawyer interview last week, things aren’t as hunky-dory as they may seem. (Are they ever!?) In the new issue of US Weekly, an “inside source” reveals, “It’s still Camp Jenner and Camp Kardashian, in a major way.” (On the Kardashian side are Kourtney, Kim, Khloe, Rob, Kendall, Kylie, and Kris; on the Jenner side are Burt, Casey, Brandon, and Brody, Bruce’s kids from his marriages to Chrystie Scott and Linda Thompson.) Evidence of this divide may lie in the fact that the two camps have not come together in a joint statement, joint interview, or – US is told – even in a joint viewing of the original interview on TV last Friday. US reports, “In order to keep the peace, Bruce scheduled two separate viewing sessions for the 20/20 interview, one with his Keeping Up With the Kardashians family, and one with Scott and his four eldest kids, who appeared on the ABC special in a show of solidarity with their father.”

Kylie and Kendall Jenner, the youngest of the Jenner children, and the “link” between the Jenner/Kardashian tribes in many ways, are reported to be struggling the most with Bruce’s public revelation. “The whole transition was much harder for the Kardashian kids and Kylie and Kendall,” a source tells PEOPLE. “It was hard to grasp. And there was a lot of lying to the kids over the years on Bruce’s part, even as close as they were. It’s going to take some time for the kids to get used to it all.” But one more clue of the disrupt between the families came in the form of a tweet from Burt Jenner, 36, who wrote, “Having a hard time not putting a few people on blast who were not supporters beforehand, but want to act like they were all along.” Hinting at the tension between the Jenners and Kardashians, one source tells us, “He [Burt] feels they’re [the Kardashians] only supportive now for publicity.” Burt has since deleted the tweet.

Bruce Jenner 20/20 Gender Transition Interview With Diane Sawyer

Bruce Jenner’s candid and powerful interview with Diane Sawyer last Friday night provided a lot of insight into just how long he’s been struggling with gender identity, and how much this struggle has affected his kids through the years. Bruce’s eldest kids, Burt, Casey, Brandon, and Brody, his children from his first two marriages to Chrystie Crownover and Linda Thompson, were heavily featured on the interview showing their unwavering support for their dad’s now public journey in transitioning to a woman. In a previously unaired clip, the former Olympic Medalist and Keeping Up with the Kardashians star goes into more detail about his absence as a father in his young kids’ lives during the 1980s: “The big, formative years for them, I was really struggling with these issues,” Bruce, 65, told Sawyer. “I talked to all of the boys about this after the fact, that, yeah, I didn’t do a good job. And I apologized to my kids for that.”

Despite his previous absence from their lives, Bruce’s eldest kids are speaking out now about their renewed hopes for the future.  Daughter Casey, 34, says, “We have a very complex relationship. He’s disappeared out of our lives, especially out of my life. So I’m looking forward to this next chapter.” And son Brandon, 33, told Sawyer, “Us missing, you know, a time of our lives is still probably the hardest thing for us to deal with. We’re trying not to look back. We’re just looking forward.” He added, “In seeing him come out to me, and explain his true self, I was more proud right then to carry the last name Jenner and to be a part of the family than at any time before.” Burt, 36, echoed his siblings’ loving and positive outlook: “The one thing I think that we have gained that means more to us than anything is the honesty.”
