Well, well if you were yearning for more Amber and Jim Marchese in your life, you’re in luck. They are returning to reality TV in a new show later this year. Plus, Amber is writing a book about her experiences surviving cancer and the new diet she developed.
Oh, and if you believe Jim is entitled to more money to fuel his delusions, the former Real Housewives Of New Jersey star also plans to sue Virgin America airlines for $100 million after they kicked him off a flight for allegedly grabbing Amber‘s neck.
Amber Marchese has survived a lot – after learning she has breast cancer for a second time, Amber is undergoing an aggressive, yet cutting-edge treatment plan to hopefully eradicate the disease once and for all – and she’s turning to her Catholic faith to guide her.
Recounting how she discovered her disease had returned and the immediate fear that set-in, Amber has put her trust in God to keep her spirits up and her hopes high. When Amber discovered her cancer had returned she had been less attentive to her faith, due to her “amazing” life and happy life.
“Although the words came out of my mouth that I am a Catholic, I did not have God in my life as much as I should have. I knew in my heart I had wandered from my path, even despite my first bout with breast cancer and feeling God’s miracle once before,” Amber admits. “My mind was wandering around too much, looking for instant gratifications and becoming more and more selfish.” Why do I feel like joining Real Housewives Of New Jersey has that affect on people?
Last week Amber had a 4-hour partial mastectomy to remove potentially cancerous tissue from her right breast. In April after discovering a lump she underwent a surgical biopsy, which was determined to be cancerous which necessitated the second surgery. Amber was shocked to learn that after 6 years in remission the biopsy showed cancer. “Even though the original diagnosis demonstrated multiple tumors the chances of it recurring were very small after treatment,” Amber explains. “Ninety-five percent of the time, it doesn’t come back.”
“The surgery was close to four hours,” Jim Marchese told E!. “They removed the tumor and more than 20 millimeters surrounding it. She was in a good deal of pain last night. She’s been resting and she is coming home today. After this, she’ll have five weeks of radiation and then another surgery.”
The Real Housewives of New Jersey star told People that her doctor called her with the news on April 23. “I was just sick to my stomach,” shared Amber. “I can’t even begin to describe the feeling you get when someone says you have cancer. Then to get it again after you thought you fought it and thought it was behind you. I was thinking, ‘This is definitely it. I’m going to die.'”
Jim Marchese allegedly revealed that the tests determined Amber’s the lump was cancerous. But was it? Now Jim is seemingly recanting his story and states he was misquoted! Jim insists they’ve never received the results of Amber’s test – and they haven’t found out if the lump was cancerous or not.
The Real Housewives of New Jersey star Amber Marchese has been very open with viewers about her past battle with breast cancer and even shared a scare during a checkup a few years later, documenting it on the show last season. Now Amber is facing another setback. She discovered another lump in her breast and is having surgery today to remove it and have it biopsied.
Amber opened up about it in a new post on Twitter this morning. Amber shared, “I originally wanted to keep my current situation a private matter until today. Monday morning I am going in for surgery. Truth be told, I found another mass, in the same breast as my first diagnosis, this past Friday before Easter. I found it while relaxing on the couch watching a movie with my husband.”
