Real Housewives of Atlanta star, Kandi Burruss is seeing red and her husband Todd Tucker might soon show up on a milk carton. Kandi and Todd recently celebrated the birth of their newborn daughter, Blaze. As many parents know, the first moments at home with a brand new infant is one of the most
terrifying important times in the bonding process. As moms and dads navigate feeding times and diaper changes, they can also revel in the bliss of combined sleep deprivation. It truly is a joyous journey.
Sometimes though, both parents aren’t willing participants in the
lack of freedom first few days of their child’s life. Work schedules, previous commitments, or not living together can interfere with the overall parental workload. Todd is special, however. In his case, the call of the club scene is apparently too strong to avoid. Now Kandi wants to have a word with her husband about his extracurricular activities. Good luck, Todd.
When you think about it, Bravo really changed the face of reality television. Sure, Bravo didn’t invent the genre, but over the years, the network has taken risks to start a wide variety of reality themed shows–from real estate to yachting and more. Many of these shows have been very successful and have been game changers in the reality television world.
Of course, the franchise Bravo is probably best known for is the Real Housewives. Who knew in 2006 that the franchise would still be going strong in 2019. From the original Real Housewives of Orange County, the show has landed in cities from New York to Dallas to Beverly Hills. One of the most successful spin-offs has been the Real Housewives of Atlanta. Recently, Peter Thomas, who used to be a regular on the show when married to Cynthia Bailey, shared his thoughts about how the men on the Housewives shows are portrayed.
Phaedra Parks was part of Real Housewives of Atlanta for eight seasons. Phaedra was married to ex-convict Apollo Nida, and we watched as they welcomed their two sons. RHOA viewers also saw their marital struggles as their union fell apart.
In 2014, Apollo was sentenced to eight years in prison for fraud and identity theft. Apollo was released in June of 2019, but he violated his halfway house rules a few days later. So, he went back to jail. In a decision that surprised no one, Phaedra filed for divorce.
It feels like a whole lifetime ago since Real Housewives of Atlanta fans saw Phaedra Parks take her young sons to visit their father in a Philadelphia prison. And I don’t even know these people. Imagine how Apollo feels. That’s actually the last time he saw his sons and it was probably paid for by the Bravo network.
Now, Apollo is out of jail and back in a Philadelphia halfway house since late July. And he’s back on Instagram. Recently, he accused Phaedra of keeping their two sons from him.
Remember back to a simpler time on Real Housewives of Atlanta? When women could show off their thongs and tout the miracle of having a donkey booty? Phaedra Parks was a Housewife like no other. She was an expert on southern etiquette, all the while also being an attorney and working in the mortuary business.
For eight seasons viewers watched Phaedra and her drama-filled marriage to ex-con, and current convict, Apollo Nida. Their union gradually crumbled after the duo welcomed two sons into their family. Apollo landed in trouble again in 2014 and was sentenced to eight years for identity theft and fraud. He was released in June of 2019 but sent back to prison a few days later for violating the half-way house rules. Phaedra eventually divorced Apollo. Shocker!
Phaedra Parks, formerly of the Real Housewives of Atlanta ,had her peach ripped from her acrylic-tipped claws when she spread a terrible rumor about Kandi Burruss. Ugh, Phaedra is literally the worst.
Even through she is pretty much a monster, there have been plenty of rumors floating around that Phaedra is going to make a return to the Real Housewives of Atlanta. Not if Kandi has anything to say about it! And I’m sure Kandi has plenty to say about it, seeing as she is the only cast member franchise-wide who has any actual talent. I mean, not to discount Luann de Lesseps’ vocal stylings …
Apollo who? Phaedra Parks has found love again and no, it’s not with the infamous Mr. Chocolate. Or the radio DJ she recently dated.
The Real Housewives of Atlanta alum recently spilled the tea on how she finally moved on from her felonious ex-husband Apollo Nida.
Well, that was quick. Apollo Nida, ex-husband of former Real Housewives of Atlanta star Phaedra Parks, was released from prison in early June. He had been serving time after being arrested for identity theft, bank fraud, and other charges. While his biggest crime might have been getting married to Phaedra in the first place, he does share two beautiful children with her. The couple began divorce proceedings in 2014. Phaedra has since moved on with Tone
Loc Kapone and Apollo is currently engaged. Also, has Phaedra ever dated anyone named Bob or does she have a thing about unusual first names?
Apollo was originally supposed to “go asunder” for 8 whole years, but had his pokey term reduced by one year. At the beginning of June, Apollo was back on the streets with
next ex-wife fiance, Sherien Almufti. Apparently, their love of being reunited was not strong enough to conquer Apollo’s rebel spirit. Either that or he missed his meals being served on a cafeteria tray.
