Lisa Barlow Real Housewives Of Salt Lake City

Lisa Barlow is an interesting cast member on Real Housewives of Salt Lake City. She is a boss and is always working on ways to grow her businesses. Lisa, who defines herself as “Mormon 2.0,” owns several alcohol brands with her husband, John Barlow. That fact alone is controversial in the Mormon Church.

Lisa and her best friend, (and doppelganger,) Meredith Marks always have each other’s backs. After RHOSLC co-star Jen Shah had a meltdown in Las Vegas, Lisa proclaimed that she didn’t think that she could be friends with Jen anymore. Since Jen had been gossiping about Meredith’s marriage to Seth Marks, Meredith was good with that decision.

Heather Gay Real Housewives Of Salt Lake City

Real Housewives of Salt Lake City fan favorite Heather Gay is many things. She is an entrepreneur who owns Beauty Lab & Laser, a successful med spa. She is divorced from “Mormon royalty,” Billy Gay III. RHOSLC co-star Lisa Barlow accused Heather of marrying for the lifestyle and money. Not cool, Lisa.

Divorce is frowned upon in the Mormon Church, however, Heather has been trying to navigate her own way. In an emotional episode of RHOSLC, Heather talked about her feelings of shame and guilt with her three daughters. She feels judged, and not able to live her life the way that she would like to. Heather may not be interested in love, but she’s still interested in sex.

The Real Housewives of Salt Lake City - Season 1

I have been obsessed with Real Housewives of Salt Lake City since it’s debut. I love the snowy change of scenery and the diverse backgrounds of the cast. And let me just say, the RHOSLC casting was perfection.

We have Lisa Barlow, who owns several alcohol brands with her husband. Lisa fancies herself the “Sundance Queen,” and the person to know to gain entrance to events at the Sundance Film festival.

Lisa Barlow Real Housewives Of Salt Lake City

When we first met Real Housewives of Salt Lake City stars Heather Gay and Lisa Barlow, their relationship was already rocky. Lisa, who owns several alcohol brands with her husband, channeled Mariah Carey and denied knowing Heather during their days at the same college. Well, except that she remembered that her RHOSLC co-star was “a good time girl.”

This was news to Heather, who was upset by Lisa’s comments. Heather, who owns Beauty Lab & Laser, is divorced from Billy Gay III who comes from “Mormon Royalty.” She has struggled to find her footing since her divorce, and recently confided in her three daughters that she feels shamed and judged by the Mormon church.

Real Housewives of Salt Lake City Whitney Rose Jen Shah

This! This is the episode I’ve been waiting to see on The Real Housewives of Salt Lake City. After weeks of personal storylines and lots of behind-the-back gossiping, the drama finally erupted in the 801. And it was all thanks to Whitney Rose. The youngest Housewife of the bunch certainly earned her snowflake this week, putting everything on the table and getting multiple storylines moving. She truly did the Lord’s work. But I’m getting ahead of myself. Let’s start at the beginning, shall we?

Jen Shah is throwing a party! More specifically, it’s a surprise birthday party for her husband, Sharrieff Shah, who hates surprises. On the contrary, Jen seems to really love surprises, doesn’t she? Or at least birthday parties, considering this is the second one she’s thrown this season. I wonder if her plans for Coach Shah will match the tens of thousands of dollars she spent on the premiere soiree for Meredith Marks. Considering she’s throwing this Shah-mazing party at a TopGolf, I’d say probably not?

Real Housewives of Salt Lake City Mary Cosby

Well darlings, if The Real Housewives of Salt Lake City started out with a snowstorm, it’s safe to say it’s quickly becoming a pop culture avalanche. At the every least, the (snow)ball is rolling down the hill, and gaining momentum with each passing week. After last week’s ski day showdown, the Housewives are supposed to be starting over with a clean slate. But like generations of Bravolebrities before them, when has that ever successfully happened. In Utah society, only God forgives, after all. And rarely does a Housewife forget…

It also appears that battle lines are starting to be drawn. And I could not be more here to see it, even if some of those lines seem poorly etched for the time being. I mean, did you ever expect to see Jen Shah pit herself against Meredith Marks? I mean, calm, cool and collected Meredith? The cast’s voice of reason? Of all people? And so quickly into the season too! But now I’m getting ahead of myself. Let’s back up and start from the beginning, shall we?
