Kelly Dodd

In the most recent episode of Real Housewives of Orange County, viewers watched the ladies dealing with the beginning of the pandemic, just before filming shut down. Apparently, Kelly Dodd was bored and spent the better part of 2020 dropping false, and dangerous, statements about the coronavirus pandemic.

In April 2020, Kelly lashed out on Instagram at someone who was critical of Kelly flying from New York back to California after visiting her fiancé, Rick Leventhal. “Do you know how many people died from the H1N1, the swine flu or SARS? It’s 25% get your facts straight you only hearing numbers not the reality! It’s God’s way of thinning the herd!” Kelly said.  Sigh. She did apologize, but it was way too little and way too late.

Kelly Dodd

I’m not entirely sure what happened to Kelly Dodd, but she has gone from loudmouth, goodtime girl on Real Housewives of Orange County to well, a disease-denying stalker. No snark, just going with what Kelly gives the public. Kelly hasn’t been doing too many favors for her fans, the people who have supported her regardless of what comes out of her mouth.

Kelly, who is not a scientist, virologist, or physician, seems to think the worldwide pandemic known as Coronavirus isn’t a thing. After numerous social media posts discounting the disease and lowkey making fun of people who protect themselves from dying, now the Rona has directly impacted Kelly’s family. This is where you might think Kelly has a change of heart and walks back her erroneous comments on COVID. This is also where you would be wrong.

Kelly Dodd Shares Update On Relationship Status With Her Mom & Brother

Family life can be difficult. There are no two ways about it. Some families get along great and some break out into WWIII over holiday dinners. Kelly Dodd knows a couple of things about unstable life with relatives. When we first met Kelly on Real Housewives of Orange County, she was still married to Michael Dodd. Along with her husband and daughter, Jolie, Kelly’s mom and brother lived with them as well. There were no huge arguments or disruptions on camera, but sometimes families like to keep their fights on the downlow.

By Season 13 of RHOC, Kelly’s husband and couch crashers all but disappeared. We know where Michael went, divorce court, but the whereabouts of her mother and brother were largely ignored. Turns out there was some action going down that viewers didn’t see. One of Kelly’s co-stars stuck their nose in her business (again) and gave her opinion on what allegedly occurred with Mom and Bro. I’ll give you five seconds to guess who that was… Now fans will get to see what happened to cause turmoil and how Kelly reacts to watching it play out on television.
