Jill Zarin has not been a housewife for several years now, but that won’t stop her from chiming in on the drama. The last time we saw Jill (on the show), it was at the funeral of husband Bobby Zarin, who passed away from cancer. Since then, the former Real Housewives of New York star has a new love and finds herself popping up on a few episodes this season.
After somewhat recovering from her fallout with Bethenny Frankel, Jill maintains relationships with most of the current cast. While it is the blondes versus the brunettes in the Dorinda Medley, Luann de Lesseps saga, you won’t see Jill picking sides. With loyalty to both ladies, Jill shares her feelings on the divided cast.
As another year approaches, it is time to reflect upon the past, and dream about the future. As a reality television
fanatic fan, my thoughts turn to which Housewives need to grace our television screens once again. Are you listening, Bravo?
Each Real Housewives franchise has seasons that are amazing and others that are
boring less exciting. Often, the key is having the right number of newbies and franchise favorites. But what really makes sparks fly is when a Housewife returns to a show, resuming prior relationships and interacting with newer castmates. Here is my dream team of who needs to be, and deserves to be, a Housewife again.
Is OG Real Housewives of New York cast member Jill Zarin making a comeback? She’s made cameo appearances during the show’s last two seasons, but is she going to film even more to be a Real Housewife or a Friend of the Housewives?
She does already have a built in storyline from last season. She appeared during her husband Bobby Zarin’s funeral and had an emotional moment with Bethenny Frankel. After that, she wasn’t filmed again, but Dorinda Medley and Ramona Singer called Bethenny out during the Season 10 reunion for only making amends with Jill in front of the cameras and not outside of filming the show. Ramona referred to her as “opportunistic.” Meanwhile Andy Cohen insisted that it was Jill who wanted to the reunion filmed. So is Jill coming back to
capitalize on the attention clear the air?
Jill Zarin is slowly moving on after Bobby Zarin’s death from thyroid cancer in January, but she still plans to honor his memory with her annual Hamptons soirée.
This is a summer of big changes for Jill. Most notably the former Real Housewives Of New York star reportedly has a new boyfriend, Gary Brody. Six months after Bobby’s passing isn’t very long but apparently Jill and Gary connected over Jill’s other love: tennis!
It was a night of joy and pain on the Real Housewives of New York, with the ladies visiting a prison boot camp, Luann de Lesseps returning from rehab, and Bethenny Frankel reuniting with long time enemy, Jill Zarin, after the tragic passing of her husband, Bobby. The laughs and tears were intense, and I’ll openly admit that I shared both as a viewer. In fact, I might have cried so hard my left contact popped out (theoretically…) because the tenderness in last night’s opening 12 minutes was truly a thing of beauty.
We begin on the day of Bobby’s funeral. Ramona Singer and Dorinda Medley are on the way there, with Ramona explaining that she visited Bobby as soon as she found out he was sick again. Dorinda feels like losing Bobby is a loss for the world; she loved him. When Bethenny heard from Sonja Morgan that Bobby had passed away, she chartered a private plane from Aspen to come be by Jill’s side. Nothing – not even a long-standing reality TV feud – could stand in the way of this moment.
Is Jill Zarin ready to start dating after her husband Bobby Zarin passed away in January? It’s unclear if she’s joking or if she’s serious about the idea of meeting a new guy. Nevertheless, if she is going to venture into the dating world, she knows exactly who her wing woman should be.
Out of the Real Housewives of New York cast members Jill would ask Ramona Singer to be her go-to girl on the dating scene.
Does Bethenny Frankel even know that she is in a “feud” with Carole Radziwill? A lot of the Real Housewives try to seem like they are not bothered by drama, but it really does seem like Bethenny truly has no idea she is in some heated feud with her Real Housewives of New York costar. Or maybe she just doesn’t care.
Carole is tweeting up a storm about Bethenny and calling her out on Watch What Happens Live, but Bethenny is busy running her empire and raising funds for disaster relief. Is this a one-side beef? Or is Bethenny just waiting until drama unfolds on the show before she comments?
