Unfortunately Bobby Zarin lost his longtime battle with cancer. Everyone on Real Housewives of New York City and the fans at home have always had a great love and respect for Bobby. His wife, ex-RHONY star Jill Zarin has received some support from her fellow Real Housewives and she has been very open about that in the media.
Bravo even filmed the New York City Housewives coming together for Bobby’s memorial. Current Real Housewives of New York cast members Bethenny Frankel, Ramona Singer, Sonja Morgan, and Dorinda Medley (along with her boyfriend John Mahdessian) attended the memorial. RHONY alum Kelly Bensimon and Real Housewives of New Jersey cast member Danielle Staub were there as well to pay their respects to Bobby and support Jill.
A new day has dawned for The Real Housewives Of New York. Long time enemies Bethenny Frankel and Jill Zarin have put their differences aside to make amends, although it took a tragic circumstance to bring them back together. After the sad passing of Jill’s husband, Bobby Zarin, last week, Bethenny chartered a plane from Aspen to be by her former friend’s side.
Some question whether this surprising move was “just for the cameras,” but Jill has made it clear that she wanted Bravo to film at Bobby’s memorial, both to highlight her connection to former RHONY cast mates and because Bobby became known to many of us through his multiple seasons on the show. Jill said, “This was all about memorializing Bobby — [there was] no drama. It’s very sad for all. He was an important part of the show and a great friend to many who appeared on it.”
Over the weekend, former Real Housewives of New York star Jill Zarin lost her husband Bobby Zarin after a long battle with cancer. Bobby will be laid to rest tomorrow and Jill is sharing a touching tribute her husband of 18 years. She promises to continue raising money and awareness in his name.
Jill took to Instagram tonight to share, “Rest In Peace my love. Words can not express the hole in my heart. Bobby taught me what true and deep love is. Thank you my love for sharing your life with me.. for raising Allyson as if she was your own, being an amazing father and grandfather and teaching me how to be a better person.”
Despite Jill Zarin‘s optimism, Bobby Zarin lost his battle with brain cancer over the weekend.
Jill confirmed the news with a statement on her website: ““With the heaviest of hearts, we are devastated to share the news that our beloved Bobby Zarin passed away peacefully today surrounded by family after a courageous battle with cancer. There are no words to describe how heartbroken we are. Thank you, everyone, for all your love and support during this difficult time.”
It has been a tough few years for Real Housewives of New York alum Jill Zarin and her husband Bobby Zarin. Sadly, Bobby has been battling thyroid cancer with some ups and downs since 2009 which has to be strenuous for both of them. On the bright side, it appears their marriage is stronger than ever.
Although it’s been a difficult period for the couple, there is some nice news for them: they just celebrated their eighteenth anniversary, which is a big deal.
It has been a very difficult time for Jill Zarin’s husband Bobby Zarin in regard to his health. After being diagnosed with thyroid cancer in 2009, Bobby has struggled greatly and has even had some periods of improvement in between.
It seemed like things were finally looking up for Bobby this past year, but it’s being reported that he is struggling a lot these days.
Aside from discussing her own dating life, Ramona Singer is never shy when she’s asked for her opinion. Since Real Housewives of New York is currently filming, she has some interesting things to share. Of course, she can’t actually reveal any major story line, but Ramona does have a lot to say about Luann de Lesseps, Carole Radziwill, and Tinsley Mortimer’s love lives.
Ramona also shared some sad updates on Jill Zarin’s husband Bobby Zarin’s health battles, her thoughts on Bethenny Frankel’s disaster relief efforts, and her daughter Avery Singer’s involvement in the upcoming RHONY season.
There’s no better way to start out your weekend than with the best reality star Instagram posts of the week. No need to scroll through your feed or type in all of the names that matter. I got you covered and there was a lot going on this week and this is aside from the Halloween festivities.
The entire Jersey Shore cast (minus one person) got together to celebrate Deena Cortese’s wedding, getting me all nostalgic. The Real Housewives of Dallas stars gathered with Andy Cohen to film the Season 2 reunion and posted a group photo to show off their glamorous ensembles (and spray tans…most likely). Dorinda Medley and Tinsley Mortimer went all out when they dressed up as famous pop stars for Halloween. The Vanderpump Rules cast were living it up with appearances at the World Series and an LA clothing store launch. The Southern Charm crew made it very clear that they are filming the next season because they were turning up all over Charleston doing shotskis, watching Monday Night Football, and attending restaurant openings.
