Although Brandi Glanville isn’t even a cast member, her claims that she had an affair with Denise Richards have become the focal point this season on Real Housewives of Beverly Hills. The actual cast members are bringing pretty much nothing to the table, other than their spoons to stir the pot. Brandi showed everyone her texts with Denise during Teddi Mellencamp’s baby shower. Meanwhile, Brandi and Teddi aren’t even friends, so why was she at the party? Oh, right: to sow those texts.
Denise countered that there’s an app to fake text messages and she just assumed Brandi used that. Girl, that’s a thinly supported argument. Don’t get me wrong, I’m #TeamDenise because I think outing her was wrong, but do I think she’s being truthful about the extent of her interactions with Brandi? No, not really, but it was just wrong for her sexuality to be exploited for a storyline in this manner.
After a season of secrets and lies, The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills are on their way out. Denise Richards must be breathing a major sigh of relief that it’s finally over. It’s been the season from hell for her. Once the Brandi Glanville allegations came out, it was all downhill from there. For the most part, the women don’t believe anything Denise is saying.
The biggest casualty out of the Denise/Brandi drama is Denise’s friendship with Lisa Rinna. It all boils down to the definition of friendship. Do you blindly defend your friend because of the length of the friendship? If you’re Rinna, the answer is a firm no. There is such ambiguity when it comes to Denise and her constantly evolving stories. It’s hard to trust that. It is what it is.
Season 10 of Real Housewives of Beverly Hills comes to a close tonight. Well, sort of. It is technically the season finale episode, but the reunion episodes are coming up.
Dorit Kemsley invites the whole cast over for her housewarming party and Denise Richards is a no-show. Yeah, she is a cast member on this show and part of that role includes going to all-cast events. However, Brandi Glanville randomly shows up even though she’s not a cast member, so who could blame Denise for just not being down for that?
The cast flies to New York City for Erika Jayne’s Broadway debut. I’m happy for Erika and all that, but this is not the most interesting storyline. I am just so over the self-promotion. That is not a storyline. Speak up in a group setting. Give us something in exchange for plugging these projects, Erika.
Camille Grammer randomly returns to sit down with Denise, which I would have never imagined considering their tension last season. Then again, Camille knows how it feels to be singled out in this group.
Denise also has a super uncomfortable sit-down with Lisa Rinna, which is probably not going to save their friendship.

Right now, Brandi Glanville is back in the spotlight thanks to her claims that she had a sexual relationship with Denise Richards. During the most recent episode of Real Housewives of Beverly Hills, Brandi went to that “Capri-themed” room at Bucca di Bepo, overly-adorned with fake lemons from the dollar store, for Teddi Mellencamp’s surprise baby shower… even though she has next to no relationship with Teddi.
We all know why she was really invited though. Yes, we saw her invite herself in that flashback scene with Teddi, Kyle Richards, and Kim Richards. But, aside from that, what other storyline did we see on Real Housewives of Beverly Hills this season? Once Kyle realized that Denise didn’t like her, she started hanging with Brandi on-camera.
And, then “coincidentally” this hookup became a storyline; i.e. the main talking point of almost every episode this season. The first few episodes revolved around Kyle’s poor behavior, but after that, all they had to talk about was Brandi. I can’t help thinking “how convenient.” Now, the conversation has shifted from calling out Kyle for her behavior in a group setting to shining the spotlight on Denise for her off-camera life.
Who is ready for Teddi Mellencamp’s baby shower? NOBODY. Nobody asked for this. Somehow, she is still a Housewife, and we are being forced to endure this. The only fun thing coming out of this will be Dorit Kemsley vs Brandi Glanville. For the most part, all of the women appear to believe Brandi. Dorit isn’t about that. Let’s find out what happens when Brandi is confronted by a Denise Richards defender for the first time.
Last week’s episode of The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills saw the end of the Rome trip. What a trip from hell it turned out to be for Denise. Her friendship with Lisa Rinna will likely never be the same again. That’s what will happen when you don’t have your friend’s back. However, it’s hard to have someone’s back that is clearly lying through their teeth.
During the most recent episode of Real Housewives of Beverly Hills, Denise Richards stormed away from the cast. Again. This time was different though because she slammed her co-stars as “mean girls.”
Whether you believe Denise about hooking up with Brandi Glanville or not (which I don’t), you cannot argue that these women are not ganging up on her. Why is it so vital that Denise admits to a sexual encounter with someone who is NOT a cast member (who purposely came on the show to blow up Denise’s life for personal gain)? Why is it so important to find the truth? Is there just not enough to talk about when it comes to the people who are actual cast members on this show? CLEARLY.
These women have no storylines. Teddi Mellencamp ranting about accountability, Lisa Rinna being a shitty friend, Erika Jayne and Dorit Kemsley promoting themselves, and Kyle Richards orchestrating storylines from the side are not enough to sustain this show. Instead, they’ve just turned every conversation into badgering Denise. It’s just too much.
Things are really heating up on Real Housewives of Beverly Hills. While the ladies are busy on a luxurious vacation in Rome, it’s been anything but relaxing.
So far, all they have done is take swipe after swipe at Denise Richards. They finally moved on from the whole “Denise is mom-shaming me for not wanting to talk about threesomes in front of her own kids”. Now the cast is on to whether or not Brandi Glanville is telling the truth about them hooking up.
