Real Housewives of Beverly Hills viewers have watched the fall-out from alum Brandi Glanville’s claim that she had an alleged sexual tryst with Denise Richards. Brandi disclosed the information to Kyle Richards and Teddi Mellencamp. Kim Richards, Kyle’s sister and Brandi’s friend, already knew about the incident.
Somehow, the other RHOBH Housewives managed to insert themselves in the drama, which is ridiculous because it had nothing whatsoever to do with them. But here we are.
Does it seem like Denise Richards lied during the most recent season of Real Housewives of Beverly Hills? Of course, it does, many times over. However, that doesn’t make it OK for the rest of the cast members to take it upon themselves to out her for allegedly hooking up with Brandi Glanville, especially since Brandi isn’t even a cast member anymore.
We all know Brandi could use that full-time cast member check. Hell, she could even use one of those part-time Friend of the Housewives paychecks. Brandi didn’t even have that status this season. Instead, she made four appearances and provided a storyline for all of the Housewives to chime in on and avoid talking about their own lives. Brandi used Denise, and in turn, the
actual Housewives and production used Brandi. It’s funny how that works, isn’t it?
Honestly, it’s 2020, so anything can happen at this point. It would be the reality television crossover
no one asked for heard across the Bravosphere. Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star, Garcelle Beauvais wants now former Real Housewives of Atlanta headliner, NeNe Leakes, to come on over to Cali. Garcelle, what have we done to deserve this? Well, NeNe needs a new gig and Beverly Hills has a vacancy. Now that NeNe has been let go left her journey in Atlanta, is it possible she could pop up in the Hills?
Quite frankly, it sounds like something Andy Cohen would salivate over. His “icon” stirring things up in a completely different environment. As with the usual Bravo formula, NeNe already has existing friendships with some of the stars. And she may be in LA on the regular filming her new, sure to be successful fashion show. So I suppose it’s conceivable, in some alternate universe, that this could happen. Garcelle lost her buddy Denise Richards to
bullying scandal, now she wants NeNe to come in and fill her spot. Lisa Rinna is probably shaking in her boots at the mere thought, so maybe it is a good idea after all.
Season 10 of Real Housewives of Beverly Hills was basically all about Denise Richards. I am sure that she really wishes that wasn’t the case. First her husband Aaron Phypers inserted himself into the drama. Then RHOBH alum Brandi Glanville dropped the bombshell that she allegedly hooked up with Denise.
Denise, of course, denied the rumors. She sent out cease and desist letters to Bravo and her co-stars. Denise also suffered from “shifting story syndrome,” and she repeatedly contradicted herself.
This is it folks. We’ve finally reached the end of the road for this season of The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills. The final part of the reunion also marks Denise Richards‘ last appearance as a housewife. The end of an era. It’s so that her friendship with Lisa Rinna ended up as a casualty in this reality war. The second half of the season was the ultimate did she or didn’t she regarding those Brandi Glanville hookup allegations.
Denise has used every tactic in the book this season to avoid taking accountability for her actions. She’s skipped events, made up fake family emergencies, and even used legal measures as a means of silence. Surely, someone who has nothing to hide wouldn’t jump through all of those hooks. Right? When you sign up to do a show like this, you know they’re going to show the good, the bad, and the hideous. This is Denise’s last stand. Let the fun begin!
We didn’t get to see a lot of Camille Grammer this season on Real Housewives of Beverly Hills. Under the neon pink glow of bitchiness, Kyle Richards welcomed Camille to her home for a fundraiser, but she was largely absent from communicating with the group. Probably because the majority of cast members know ‘ol Cammy has no shits to give and will poke the bear just for kicks.
This is why many viewers appreciated Camille’s time on RHOBH. She was the only one to try and get dirt on Dorit Kemsley’s sketchy wallet. She called Lisa Rinna a hypocrite for fueling the Brandi Glanville and Denise Richards
farce drama. And Camille never took any of Kyle’s crap. Now Teddi Mellencamp Arroyave is on deck. Ladies and gentlemen, I give you the return of Camille 007.
Remember Kathryn Edwards? Along with Carlton Gebbia and Joyce Giraud, Kathryn is part of the “one and done” crew from Real Housewives of Beverly Hills. Kathryn appeared on the show in 2016 and seemed to share much of her conflict with The Morally Corrupt Faye Resnick. Though she tried to play the game (don’t hate the game, just marry a player), she was benched after her freshman season. Let’s all take a moment and reflect on the juicy drama and great one-liners Kathryn gifted us with. Aaaaand we’re finished.
While Kathryn didn’t have the opportunity to strut her stuff for a second season, because, fired, she did learn a few things during her tenure on the show. Sometimes reality television isn’t pure in the “reality” sense of the word. You already know this if you have a working tv and access to any type of media device. Recently, Kathryn shared some insight on producer-driven drama in the Bravo universe and certain cast members
earning their check driving that producer-driven bus.
Anyone else still spinning about Denise Richards leaving Real Housewives of Beverly Hills? Maybe it was inevitable, but still, the entire season was built on her back and the alleged affair with Brandi Glanville. So, where do they go from here? Next season, will it be like Denise never happened? Probably, if Lisa Rinna has it her way.
The cast of RHOBH needs to change. Like a Real Housewives of Orange County-level shake up. Teddi Mellencamp,Kyle Richards, Erika Jayne, and Lipsa should take a breather. They gave us nothing for the third season in a row. Shouldn’t that be grounds for dismissal? Instead of quitting, if Denise gave it one more go, I really think Bravo would have blessed her with a redemption arc. But we’re saying goodbye to her and Big D*ck Aaron Phypers.(That name works on two levels here).
