With so many great reality shows back with new episodes this week and others that are filming for the next season, it makes sense that a lot of reality TV stars are sharing behind-the-scenes photos.
New York Housewife Tinsley Mortimer finally cut her signature hair, so of course she shared a photo of getting all glammed up with her new look. Real Housewives of Potomac star Monique Samuels shared a photo of her hair and makeup team getting her ready to throw shade during some on-camera interviews this season. Orange County Housewife Shannon Beador also posted a photo of her glam squad in action. Southern Charm star Shep Rose shared a photo of he and Whitney Sudler-Smith in front of a green screen in between shooting some commentary on the current season.
In essence, Season 10 of Real Housewives of Atlanta was brought to you in part by Snapchat, or at least that’s what it should say somewhere in the credits of each episode. The video that Kim Zolciak’s daughter Brielle Biermann took of herself in the mirror at NeNe Leakes’ house, changed the course of the season.
Kim saved it in her archives and unleashed on NeNe, accusing her having a roach-infested home. NeNe fired back with accusation of racism aimed at both Kim and Brielle. Roachgate took over the season and that’s why I thought it was hysterical when NeNe and her husband Gregg Leakes dressed as an exterminator and roach for their Halloween costumes. I laughed, Kim’s girl Sheree Whitfield even laughed, but Kim did not find it funny. At all.
A lot of your favorite reality stars were all about the family time this past week on Instagram. Teen Mom star Leah Messer rooting for her daughters at cheer. Southern Charm cast member Kathryn Dennis celebrated her daughter Kensie’s 4th birthday. New York Housewife Ramona Singer hung out with her daughter Avery Singer. Luann de Lesseps saw Kinky Boots on Broadway with her kids. Tiny Harris celebrated her daughter Heiress’ birthday.
Believe it or not, Don’t Be Tardy is one of the most enjoyable shows. Sure, there isn’t a lot of “drama” and almost every “argument” is resolved by the end of each half hour episode, but it’s an easy, family show to watch for a change. It’s certainly not groundbreaking television, but it’s entertaining in a refreshing way.
In complete contradiction to the sweet, family time on their own show, I have to say that Kim Zolciak and Brielle Biermann more than earned their renewal on the Bravo network thanks to their drama with the Atlanta Housewives. These two carried that season on their back, so I don’t blame Bravo for rewarding them with another season of their own show.
There may be six women holding up peaches during the Real Housewives of Atlanta opening credits, but not all of them are bringing something to the table. Kim Zolciak isn’t even a full-time cast member and her daughter Brielle Biermann hasn’t even appeared on camera this season, yet the two of them have instigated the most significant drama – by far.
From the John Legend ticket debacle to the “roach” video, these two have been carrying the season on their backs – much to NeNe Leakes‘ annoyance.
I cannot be more excited for the Real Housewives of Atlanta Season 10 reunion. Specifically, I just want to see Kim Zolciak and NeNe Leakes going at it over bugs, health problems, and handicap parking spaces. Sure, there has been other drama this season, but a NeNe vs. Kim showdown is classic RHOA. I am more than ready for it.
Kim got me even more pumped up for the reunion episodes when she appeared on Watch What Happens Live. She discussed that infamous “roach” video, Kroy Biermann‘s chauffeur services, and even some reunion conspiracy theories.
NeNe Leakes was on top of the world, but on last night’s Real Housewives Of Atlanta it all came tumbling down. Can NeNe ever be put back together again after her great fall?
NeNe is officially in a twitter war (and every other kind of war) with Kim Zolciak and Brielle Biermann. It’s gone beyond nasty into libel territory and Orkin definitely needs to exterminate this mess. It’s actually making me think less of two women, whom I’ve never managed to muster a decent opinion of in the first place. This is the magic of Bravo: nasty people behaving more badly. You can read all the details here.
