In this week’s edition of reality star sightings – we have the Little Women: LA cast attending RuPaul’s DragCon over the weekend. And interestingly, it looks like Christy McGinty and Terra Jole aren’t sworn enemies any longer. The two were seen chatting it up and not a single drink glass was thrown! Also attending the event: former co-star Brittney “Freakabritt” Guzman and current cast member Tonya Banks.
Bethenny Frankel signed autographs for fans at the Kentucky Derby Day at Empire Casino in Yonkers, NY.
Rachel Zoe, David Foster and more attend the Annual Goldie’s Love In For Kids event in L.A.
The first ladies of Lifetime’s ‘Little Women’ franchise are back for season FOUR! This season of Little Women: LA sees the gang reunited, minus Brittney “Freakabritt” Guzman, for another round of oversized drama, including more friendship fallouts and – of course – more pregnancy news. (Has there been a season yet that didn’t involve marriage or pregnancy hullabaloo of some sort, I ask you? Looks like this one’s no different!)
We start out at Jasmine Arteaga Sorge’s home, where she’s fixin’ to throw a Mommy Cocktail Party. It’s been only about a month since Elena Gant and Saint Preston’s vow renewal in Hawaii, which means it’s also been a mere hot minute since the epic throw down between Briana Renee(formerly Manson), Matt Ericson, and…every other human being on the show. Jasmine is still sporting the spider lashes, and she’s still BFFs with Briana, who shows up first to the soiree.
We have a bit of casting news for you regarding Season 4 of Little Women: LA, which kicks off on January 27th. Brittney Guzman, aka Freakabritt, has decided that one season of the hit reality show was enough for her! She shared in a press release last night that she has decided not to return for season 4.
Brittney was a season 3 addition to the cast, along with newbie Jasmine Sorge. Brittney was an acquaintance of Terra Jole and had danced on Miley Cyrus’ last tour. She was quite a bit younger that the rest of the cast and was in a very different place in life than the rest of them, so I’m sure that had a little bit to do with her decision to pass on season 4.
In our latest roundup of reality TV star (past and present) photos we have for you: Caroline Stanbury, Melissa Gorga, Draya Michele, Lisa Vanderpump and so many more!
Above: Lilly Ghalichiattends Trina’s Kid’s Foundation 2nd annual Runway Wonderland Holiday Charity event benefiting The Boys & Girls Clubs of America at Hubble Studio in L.A., along with former Shahs of Sunset star (although not appearing on the same season), Asifa Mirza.
Melissa Gorga was spotted outside of her Envy by Melissa Gorgaboutique this week. The Real Housewives of New Jersey star announced yesterday that her store is now open – just in time for Christmas shopping.
Briana Rene’e has been at the center of her share of drama on this season’s Little Women: LA. I got a chance to sit down with Briana to hear her side of the story on a year filled with changes: including a new marriage, music career aspirations, and shifting alliances with old friends. Here’s what she had to say about that, and much more!
Did you ever think you’d wind up on a reality TV show? “You know, I didn’t. When you watch stuff you always wonder what it would be like, but until I was offered the opportunity, I never considered it seriously.”
“To say the least, it’s definitely been a wild ride! The fact that I am myself completely – what you see on screen is who I am off screen – I make myself basically wide open to the public and vulnerable to positive and negative reactions. It really is wild. It’s an experience that you can only really understand if you’re in it. It’s been a wonderful opportunity and an amazing platform for educating the public though.”
What is your relationship status with each of your cast mates right now? “At this point, we’re giving each other space, but are seeing each other when the opportunity arises. At the end of the day, you realize you were friends, you are friends, so you take it day by day. I mean, it was rough. But you don’t just end a friendship because you have one big argument.”
We did it! We made it to the bitter end of a season which can best be described in one word: Mattgate. To tie a bow on the whole package, we must tirelessly slog through Part Two of this season’s Little Women: LA reunion, however. And how could we do that without focusing on the man, the myth, the legend – Briana Manson’s newest husband, Matt himself?
In Part One of the reunion, we ended with the dramatic entrance of Makayla, the woman who Matt sent photos of his nether-regions to while he was in a relationship with Briana. Whether Matt and Briana were on a break when the photos were sent, or whether the photos actually caused the break has yet to be clarified. (And if Briana has it her way, it will likely never be clarified, as she’s talked out of both sides of her mouth on this issue for some time now.)
It’s been a season of ups and downs for the Little Women: LA cast. We’ve had it all: newbies who like to stir the pot, Little Boss behavior on fleek, gynecologist appointments that left us visually traumatized, and secret marriages to questionable men. And now it’s time to rehash it all on part one of the 2-part LWLA reunion! Tracey Edmonds hosts the show and asks the ladies the tough questions we’ve wanted answers to for months. Plus, a special guest makes an appearance to clear things up about Matt’s proclivity for sexting nude pics to women who are not his wife.
First of all, the production value of this reunion versus last year’s is much improved. The teams seem to be seated according to alliances, reminiscent of Housewives reunion arrangements. On couch left of screen, we have Elena Gant, Tonya Banks, Christy McGinity, and Terra Jole. To Tracey’s right, we have Briana Manson, Jasmine Sorge, and a blue-wigged Brittney Guzman. After they watch a montage clip of the season’s most dramatic highlights, Tracey asks what it’s been like watching this season back. Terra says she noticed it wasn’t her who started most of the drama this season. Tonya admits she saw herself saying things she didn’t realize she’d said. (Like “heifer” 1,000 times?)
Brittney “Freakabritt” Guzman made her mark on this season’s Little Women: LA as one of the newest – and youngest – cast members. And she didn’t hold back when it came to confronting castmate Terra Jole. I got a chance to chat with Brittney yesterday about her reaction to the season, where she and Terra stand now, and what she’s been up to lately (spoiler alert: she met Kylie Jenner on Tyga’s video shoot recently and claims she was a total zero!).
So, do people call you Brittney? Or Freakabritt? “They call me Freakabritt now or Freaka. That’s now my name!”
What did you think of your first experience on reality TV? “It’s been great. Things don’t always seem like they appear. It’s been fun, there’s a lot of drama. At the same time, people will do whatever they can to be the center of attention. And I’m not into that route, unlike some other people.”
How did you fit in on the cast? “Everybody on this show is married and having kids, and I was like 22. I wanted to focus on my career and they wanted me to be in a relationship. But I was the youngest one there, and I wasn’t trying to be tied down!”
