Brooks Ayers Cancer

rhoc-recap-tamra-shannon

Just a few hours after the news broke that City of Hope denied Brooks Ayers was ever a patient at their facility, The Real Housewives of Orange County stars reacted to the revelation.  Tamra Judge, Shannon Beador and Meghan King Emdonds weren’t too shocked to hear it, obviously.

The three co-stars spoke with E! and gave their thoughts on the situation now that this new info has come to light.

Meghan:

“I pray for him. I would want to tell him that I hope he finds the truth somewhere in his life. The truth will set you free. It’s a very sad and disgusting situation. I never believed I would be surrounded by such lies but hopefully now we can focus on the truth.”

Brooks Ayers confronts Meghan Edmonds On RHOC

Let’s see Brooks Ayers talk himself out of this latest revelation!  The Real Housewives of Orange County supporting player, who was front and center all season, has been flaunting his cancer “proof” in interviews as of late.  “Proof” that was fishy, at best.  Well, Brooks’ “proof” just went POOF!

E! news reached out to City of Hope after all of the controversy over the possible fake “chemo bill” that Brooks produced last week in an interview segment with E!.  Brooks said it was proof that he was receiving cancer treatments at the clinic and indeed has cancer.   Well, City of Hope just shot Brooks’ claims all to hell.  The hospital spokesman shared with E! that Brooks was “never treated for cancer” at their facility.

Heather Dubrow's World podcast

Heather Dubrow‘s new podcast, Heather Dubrow’s World, went live today. Seeing as how her first two guests were Shannon Beador and Tamra Judge, it should not come as a surprise that the drama surrounding Vicki Gunvalson and Brooks Ayers, which dominated this season of the Real Housewives of Orange County, was a hot topic.

“I have always been a really big supporter of Vicki and BrooksTerry and I both have been,” says Heather. “I’ve been getting a few comments about why am I betraying her or ganging up on her, and I don’t feel that’s so. I feel like I’ve tried to give her every opportunity to be a supportive person for her. This all started because Vicki went on Watch What Happens Live a few weeks ago and said to Andy that none of the cast has reached out to her since she broke up with Brooks. I know she’s spoken to Tamra. For me, I texted her that day and I said, ‘Have fun in New York. Break a leg tonight.’ Even though I’m not happy with what the situation is, we’re cast members, I have feelings for her, we have a relationship, and I just wanted to reach out. She wrote me back a really nice text. I thought we were good. Then she said no one‘s reached out to her.”

Brooks Ayers is making the rounds to dish on this season of The Real Housewives of Orange County, and attempting to defend himself and his cancer diagnosis.  Not only did Brooks do an exclusive sit-down with Andy Cohen (which won’t be aired until November 12th), but also gave a several-part interview to E! News.  He is attempting to provide “proof” of his diagnosis via a chemotherapy bill – but is it a fake bill he grabbed from Google Images?!

E! has been airing snippets of Brooks’ interview on their site and dropping bits of it during evening airings of their news show.  Yesterday Brooks shared “proof” with them about his cancer in the form of a supposed chemotherapy bill, and verbally confirmed that he has Non Hodgkins Lymphoma and says his lesions are gone.  He won’t say he’s in remission, but things are “normalized.”

Brooks Ayers on E! News

Prior to the Real Housewives of Orange County reunion, Brooks Ayers sat down with Melanie Bromley of E! News to defend himself against the “faking cancer” accusations that plagued this past season. Brooks insisted that nothing about his storyline with Vicki Gunvalson had been manufactured.

About Meghan King Edmonds, Tamra Judge, Briana Culberson, Shannon Beador, and anyone else who has called him a gold digger, a liar, or a con artist or has accused him of faking cancer, Brooks declared, “Nobody can ruin my life. Nobody can ruin my reputation.” Wait, what? I was under the impression his reputation was already in the crapper, but, okay. Maybe Brooks and Farrah Abraham should go on a “my reputation is my brand” redemption tour together.

Brooks Ayers confronts Meghan Edmonds On RHOC

Whoa! All is certainly not fair in love and war, especially if you’re the biggest star of this season’s Real Housewives of Orange County. And I’m not talking about the actual housewives. Brooks Ayers, who’s cancer storyline stole everyone’s thunder – and annoyed viewers to no end – this year, is stirring the pot a little more with his recent trash talk about ex-girlfriend, Vicki Gunvalson

While Vicki cryptically told Andy Cohen on a recent episode of Watch What Happens Live that “it was a lot of things” contributing to their breakup, Brooks says that he and Vicki sought counseling way back in March to intervene in their rocky relationship. “I said, ‘Listen, we need some third-party help. I’m not gonna be influenced by you,'” Brooks divulged to E! News.

Vicki Gunvalson on WWHL in October 2015

It appears that Vicki Gunvalson is doing some serious backtracking, or possibly righting some serious wrongs depending on how you look at it, because she’s doing a little fact checking of her own! Satan may love confusion, but Google sure doesn’t!

Addressing the season finale – and really the entire season – of Real Housewives Of Orange County in her blog, Vicki is left with “mixed emotions” and confusion. “I don’t know how or why the season ended the way it did, but all I want to share with you at this time is my perspective and what I went through this year AFTER the death of my mother.”

Since Vicki and Tamra Judge are never-ever-getting back together Vicki decided to air some of her frienemesis’s dirty laundry. I mean it’s only karma after the season Vicki has endured…

After being constantly questioned about whether or not Brooks Ayers is lying about cancer (and whether or not Vicki was complicit in this lie), the OG of OC decided to finally explain why she was so evasive and defensive.  She also ‘clears up’ (eye roll) that mysterious IV story that started circulating around the season finale. But most interestingly, Vicki also questions some other Real Housewives claims of “cancer”. Ahem… Tamra!

Lizzie Rovsek

Lizzie Rovsek has been unfortunately absent for much of this season of Real Housewives Of Orange County. Prior to it airing Lizzie said she opted to film less due to the incredible negativity of the season – she wasn’t kidding!

With all the talk about Jesus in the season finale, the only person who demonstrated any kindness (or sanity), was, in fact, Lizzie, who distanced herself from the confusion of Satan. (She also didn’t climb on a cross or crucify herself!).

Believing season 10 “ended on a very sad note,” Lizzie is disappointed that so many friendships suffered. “I hope time can bring clarity and forgiveness for everyone. After all, we all live in glass houses.”
