Tonight’s episode of The Real Housewives of Potomac was like reading a Nancy Drew book written by someone who has had way too much wine. If only the ladies could get to the bottom of Karen Huger’s missing wedding ring and what it could possibly mean, then maybe they could finally leave her alone and enjoy France. Karen, however, is not giving up any clues and is trying to throw everyone off her trail. And speaking of mysteries, can someone please explain to me what happened to Ashley Darby tonight? It’s like she went to bed with a head cold and woke up with an Incredible Hulk sized bad attitude. What is in French OTC medication anyway? At least tonight’s arguments weren’t too public, so…PROGRESS!
But first we are back at breakfast on the balcony with Gizelle Bryant arguing with Monique Samuels. Gizelle is confused why Monique would go out of her way to hurt her by inviting Kyndall when she thought they were fine. She’s not jealous because every day she wakes up knowing she’s the baddest thing walking. And just so you know, she really doesn’t care about Sherman’s past. She decides that she and Monique won’t ever be besties, but she can move past this, call a truce, and eat some pancakes. Determined to make a graceful exit, she walks to the door which won’t open. She struggles for a moment. Between giggles Monique tells her to try to the other door. It won’t slide either. Ohhhh… you have to push it open! Success!
That last episode of Real Housewives of Potomac was all sorts of messy. Gizelle Bryant told Robyn Dixon that the other ladies didn’t want to wait for her to get ready even though they said they would.
Charrisse Jackson-Jordan admitted that she invited Kyndall Douglas to events to get revenge on Gizelle for those fireman rumors last year. Candiace Dillard even confronted Monique Samuels for laughing in her face in response to her story about her marital difficulties “being in the spotlight.” There was a lot to unpack- just from that episode alone.
During the last episode of Real Housewives of Potomac, both Gizelle Bryant and Ashley Darby came for Karen Huger and her marriage- multiple times.
Gizelle accused Karen’s husband Ray Huger of crushing on Gizelle’s business partner Erika. Gizelle and Ashley questioned Karen for not wearing her wedding ring. Needless to say, Karen will not be sitting on the same couch as Gizelle and Ashley during the Season 3 reunion taping.
Just like another cast trip in the Real Housewives franchise, the Real Housewives of Potomac ladies’ vacation in France is just chock full of dramatics. It almost makes the (likely) Bravo-funded trip not worth it- but then again they are getting paid to be there and feuding is a part of their jobs as reality TV stars.
Plus it seems like most of them actually thrive when they get to argue and throw shade at each other. Gizelle Bryant had no problem checking Karen Huger and Monique Samuels during that last episode and she still has more shade to throw.
The Real Housewives of Potomac cast members are not going to get away with lying if Ashley Darby is around. She is all about calling people out when they aren’t truthful. She’s not buying into Karen Huger’s vague descriptions of her financial status and living situation.
Ashley also let Monique Samuels and Charrisse Jackson-Jordan know that their names have been in each other’s mouths- very often. Ashley is messy and proud of it.
Ashley Darby’s tagline for Season 3 of Real Housewives of Potomac is “You may say I cause trouble, but I say I keep things interesting.” She definitely does keep things interesting. She has no issue calling out Karen Huger (or anyone else) over and over again.
Ashley’s messiness made her the perfect person to be Andy Cohen’s guest on Watch What Happens Live last night. There wasn’t one question that she wouldn’t answer. She had no issue stirring things up and spilling some tea.
No one can make mountains out of molehills like the women of the Real Housewives of Potomac. This week we’re back in France. The scenery was fantastic and the French were charming. But how can these women be at dinner and not showcase the food and wine? Personally, I could have done with fewer petty fights and more culture and scenery. Should we still be caring about Monique Samuels’ guest list offending Gizelle Bryant when she wasn’t even at the gala (which was months ago)? I vote no, but obviously, some thought otherwise.
We begin back at the hotel lobby where the argument between Gizelle and Karen Huger continues. Surprisingly, it’s Candiace Dillard to the rescue. She drags Karen out of the hotel and into the awaiting black van like she’s in some James Bond movie.
In her latest Bravo blog, Charrisse Jackson Jordan gets candid about her feelings on Monique Samuels. The Real Housewives of Potomac star discusses their sitdown shown on last week’s episode – and doesn’t hold back.
Charrisse shares her feelings going into the meeting with Monique Samuels, “Honestly, I came into the sit-down reluctantly. I had been feeling a sense of faux genuineness when it comes to Monique. She had betrayed my trust a couple of times at this point and I really felt that I wasn’t going to get an honest response from her. The truth is, I wanted to get past what I was feeling and was hoping that she would be open and honest with me so that we could move on and repair the damage before it became worse.”
