Then, she released a statement slamming rumors that her husband Jason Wimberly was having an affair. She’s having a rough week, to say the least. And the drama just keeps unfolding.

While Cam has been on Southern Charm from day one, she has always managed to keep her private life private. Her husband has remained off of the show. In her statement, Cam explains that vicious rumors like these are the reason why she’s always protected her marriage from reality television. Even though Cam squashed the rumors herself, Jason’s rumored mistress is breaking her silence on the situation.

Southern Charm Is Finally Filming For Season 7

Let’s face it. Season 6 of Southern Charm was not the greatest. There seemed to be a spark missing from the series. It is almost as if some of the charm of the show disappeared. Thomas Ravenel departed after Season 5 in a cloud of ugly legal issues. Kathryn Dennis was more private, possibly due to her legal wrangling with Thomas over custody of their children. Shep Rose appeared to have turned into that angry old man who lives on the corner.

Rumors about whether or not the show would return started cropping up in the fall, as Southern Charm has traditionally filmed during that time of year. Austen Kroll confirmed last November that the show had not yet started filming. In the same month, Craig Conover hinted Southern Charm would be returning, but offered little in the way of details. Now, there is some dish to share about the future of our charmers.

Filming Delayed For New Season Of Southern Charm While Search For New Cast Is On

I hate to say you told me so, but you told me so. Yep, it sounds like Southern Charm is in ICU and the prognosis isn’t looking too great. It might be time to call friends and family members and get out your favorite black outfit. By all accounts, the show is in trouble. I’ll say it, the current cast is circling the drain because Thomas Ravenel departed. We don’t have a lot of people bringing interest to the table these days. No one seemed fascinated by Austen Kroll’s journey in trying to be a boy toy and Shep Rose has less personality and dignity than Naomie Olindo’s cat.

If the truth hurts, this will too. The ladies of the cast are leaving fans high and dry. Cameran Eubanks was the voice of reason when the show began, now she is the voice of judgment and often glosses over her friends’ shitty behavior. Chelsea Meissner is lovely but dang, she lacks a life. Since her “love interest” is some dude on a boat at sea, there are no relationship storylines for her. Kathryn Dennis is drama personified but not legally able to speak about certain things. Quite frankly her moods were so strange last season, fans constantly wondered if she was either on something or just checked out. Now we are hearing production has delayed filming through January, and you know what that usually means. Are we watching one of Bravo’s old favorites taking it’s last few breaths?

Our summer with the folks of Southern Charm has come to a bittersweet end. Sweet because it’s over, and bitter because the story line centered around a withering bromance and toxic romance of an Austen Kroll triangle. The wayward beer enthusiast spent the season entangled in a twisted web, pulled between his snobby, elitist wing man and shrill, roid-raging girlfriend. It wasn’t the stuff of Bravo dreams…that’s for sure!

Andy Cohen welcomes Danni Baird to the sofa before Austen continues to lecture Kathryn Dennis about her admittedly odd Watch What Happens Live appearance. Naomie Olindo interjects to state that a friend of hers witnessed Kathryn drinking before her evening in the clubhouse. Cameran Eubanks had the same snitch friend texting her this intel as well. Kathryn maintains that she didn’t have a sip of alcohol before WWHL, and she’d admit it if she did.

In fact, Kathryn has already shared that she is back to drinking in moderation…whatever that means. Craig Conover reveals that often times the cast has lied about seeing Kathryn drink because they didn’t think she was allowed to drink. Shep Rose agrees that they have all defended Kathryn’s reputation more than she knows.

Southern Charm Reunion Recap: Offensive Defense

Geez Louise. There is a lot to unpack from last night’s Southern Charm reunion, the least of which was the spectrum of outfits…but seriously, can we talk about that for a quick second? Cameran Eubanks keeps it chic and simple with her gorgeous dress and amazing shoes, but the rest of the ladies are all over the map! While Naomie Olindo looks cute repping her line, she could be at a dance club or hanging out at the mall in the 80’s with her look. And while we’re on the subject of the 80’s, Chelsea Meissner stole her dress from the Dynasty costume archives. Of course, no one’s ensemble is more confusing than Kathryn Dennis’ bridesmaid’s dress and matching eye shadow. It’s just…a lot.

Cameran is under fire from some viewers who thought she whined too much about motherhood. Instead of being defensive, Cameran admits that she cringed a bit watching some of her complaints this season. While she misses her career and the adult time it afforded her, she knows she is incredibly lucky to be able to afford to be a stay-at-home mom. Motherhood has certainly changed Cameran, and she loves that she can watch Palmer grow and change each day. Cam apologizes if she came across spoiled or privileged as she is very aware of her good fortune. Kathryn comes to Cameran’s defense, asserting that every mother struggles with the same feelings of guilt and the inability to balance.
